I'm not sure words can sufficiently convey just how wonderful this home is. From the view of Lake Superior from the deck, to the spacious kitchen, to the kitchen amenities, the bedrooms and bathrooms and ... well ... just all of it, frankly. I've been coming up to the North Shore for six decades--before I could walk. Our family has a cabin built in 1908, and we cherish it beyond words. But I gotta tell you, this home may have spoiled me forever from schlepping a sleeping bag and mosquito from Michigan. Our group of seven--two of my sisters in addition to my family--had ample space and were forever complementing about how they would book this house again in a heartbeat. Being their baby brother, I was happy to remind them that this was my find.Alicia, our host, was more than helpful and accommodating.OK, so the lock on the sliding door takes a bit of a tutorial. And you have to be mindful that you have critters around the place. But look, it's northern Minnesota. They were here first! So, yes, I think you would very much enjoy booking this home. The North Shore will always be wonderful. Staying here will make it memorable.

Grand Marais Getaway

I love it when photos and descriptions match the location. We loved the oversize deck, the large kitchen area, and open floor plan. Water pressure and temp were good. Providing detergent along with large washer and dryer really aided those of us who had already been traveling a couple weeks.

Family Retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! We stayed here in 2021 and were happy to be returning to a familiar place. The common spaces were a great way for us to gather with additional family members who were staying at a different rental property. Lovely view and the outside flowers were so beautiful. We look forward to returning!

Nice place!

The house was great for our family group (2 children, 2 parents, 2 grandparents). We spent a lot of time on the deck which has comfy furniture and a great view of the lake. Beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious and nice. Only drawback for us was that you have to walk up a flight of outdoor steps to get to the entrance, which was a little tough for my elderly parents and which I had somehow missed in the description. Otherwise, the place is clean and comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed (and more!) and the yard was great for the kids. We would stay here again!

Unbelievable!

We really enjoyed our mini vacay at Superior Comfort and loved everything about the place! The decor, layout and location of the space were really nice, especially the kitchen/dining/living area. We spent a large amount of time cooking, playing games and movie watching and it was enough room to do all of those things at once for 6 people! It was glorious! All beds were very comfortable and the master bedroom was insane. Overall, I highly recommend this place, it was wonderful! Thank you!!
