A quaint home with an incredible uninterrupted panoramic view of Grand Marais Harbor has all the amenities that make for a relaxing, carefree vacation. Amenities include large enclosed porch, large deck, propane fireplace, large kitchen with all the necessities for eating in, wireless internet access, Smart TV with Hulu. The enclosed sleeping porch for summer includes a queen futon and two twin daybeds. Imagine listening to the waves as you sleep on the porch. Lower level (basement) includes sleeping area/rec. room, bathroom and laundry access. Lower level is not handicap accessible.

Stones Throw is situated conveniently in downtown Grand Marais. Restaurants, coffee shops, the beach, hiking, and shopping are all within walking distance. Attractions such as the North House Folk School and the Art Colony are just a few blocks away.

Whether you want an active or quiet vacation, you can find it in the comfort of Stones Throw.

We really enjoyed our short stay at the Stones Throw. It's a quaint setting with a great view of the harbor from the patio. The beds were comfortable, and the proximity to downtown is fantastic. We would absolutely stay here again.

Simply amazing location - a view from the deck straight out to the harbor light and a brewery across the street! Well equipped kitchen and very comfortable rooms. Loved being able to walk to shops & restaurants around town.

What a great home! Perfect location, and well appointed with everything we needed and then some. Roomy, and the sleeping porch was a wonderful plus. We will be back on our next trip up the north shore!

This is a charming place with a great kitchen and baths. The bedrooms are nice with great linens and cozy decor. There is a true cottage feel to the place. We loved the view of Lake Superior and the location was perfect. We walked to shops and restaurants. We also enoyed the walking path across the street.

Stones throw cottage

Stones throw cottage was a perfectly located property with lovely views of Grand Marais harbor. It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

This place is perfect to stay in Grand Marais central to everything and can walk anywhere in town. Kept up nicely and plants if room to eat hang out and a lovely deck

Great house and location

We enjoyed this home and it's proximity to downtown Grand Marais. We walked all over town and also drove to the Gunflint Trail and Grand Portage. Comfortable, clean and has a great view.

Wonderful Get Away

What a perfect stay! My sisters and i loved this place. The location was amazing! We could walk to the lake and to all the shops and restaurants. Our cabin was so clean and comfortable. We would definitely return.

Home slept 4 adults comfortably. Be advised that one of the beds and bathrooms are in the basement: comfortable and spacious but best used by those who move easily on stairs. Loved the proximity to the shore, restaurants and shops

A getaway

The location of the cottage is wonderful. Waking up and drinking coffee on the deck while watching the boats in the harbor is priceless!! Truly restful!!

Epic View

Took a last minute trip to Grand Marais. Place is very convenient with priceless views ofArtist Point and the lighthouse. Could sleep many people here. Was clean, and well stocked. Plenty to do in the event of disappointing weather.

Fantastic

Right in the heart of the action in Grand Marais, Stones Throw is a spacious yet cozy spot with a wonderful deck just off a very nicely set up kitchen. Super clean, had everything we needed. View is great too!

Best location in Grand Marais

The location and overall quality of this space more than made up for not having A/C. We were able to comfortably have 8 people in this house (4 adults, 4 kiddos) without feeling like we were in each other’s space. And, again, location, location, location!

Great stay

The location was amazing! Very convenient with having a toddler that needed to nap, could easily walk anywhere into town and back. Didn't need to get in the car at all! The bed we slept in wasn't the most comfortable but other than that everything else was perfect! Highly recommend and we will be back!
