This is the vacation cabin for you if you are looking for value and a real cabin feel without compromising amenities. Lazy Bear Cabin is a place to make memories! This property with a game room is large enough to gather a big group or find your own quiet place to relax. Sorry but no pets allowed. Nestled in beautiful Coconino National Forest just 115 miles north of Phoenix, Lazy Bear Cabin is our peaceful 4,300 sq. ft. cabin with plenty of space to relax and enjoy family and friends. Situated on the premiere street in secluded Munds Park, neighborhood traffic is minimal yet you’re under a mile from access to Interstate 17.

Lazy Bear Cabin is close to skiing/snowboarding, hiking, zip lining, golf, fishing, parks, shopping, restaurants, and movie theaters. Curl up on the couch and enjoy a nap, a walk or bike ride through the quiet wooded community, fish the peaceful Lake Odell, or play a round of golf at the Pinewood Country Club. Lazy Bear Cabin is 20 minutes from Flagstaff, 40 minutes from Sunrise Ski Resort and 40 minutes from the beautiful red rocks of Sedona/Oak Creek Canyon.

Munds Park has become a destination for the UTV off-road community. There are trail-heads within 1.5 miles from the property. Our driveway is large enough for two trucks with trailers.

When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by the 900 sq. ft. wrap-around deck perfect for relaxing and enjoying the weather and scenery. And there’s plenty of seating for gatherings, grilling or just hanging out. We have two picnic tables (each seats six adults), and 6 cushioned swivel chairs with fire table. When the weather is perfect, this is where we spend much of our time.

The spacious family room has 18-foot ceilings, remote-controlled gas fireplace, huge cozy sectional and 65” smart HDTV. The wrap around windows bring the beauty of Munds Park right into the home. Clear music supplied by Sonos speaker system if you have the app on your phone. If you want to work remotely, you can use the desk while enjoying the view.

The kitchen is fully equipped with full-size refrigerator/freezer, electric stove, oven and microwave plus plenty of pots, pans, cooking utensils and flatware. Just outside, we have a propane gas grill barbecue perfect for all your grilling needs.

The laundry room features a brand new full-size Samsung washer and dryer. We keep detergent and softener for your use.

This cabin has 4 bedrooms and a large loft. The additional locked room upstairs is the owners and is off limits, thank you for understanding.

Our downstairs rooms are across the home and offer exceptional privacy. The two bedrooms downstairs are fully furnished with classy dressers, nightstands and smart HDTVs. The Golf casita is golf themed room and has a new comfy king bed. The room has outside access via a sliding glass door. The spacious Bearizona room is bear themed and also has a very comfortable new King bed. Both rooms feature a multi-usb charging station for your convenience. There is a full bathroom located between the two rooms.

The downstairs 850 sq. ft. game room is the perfect gathering place and features three comfy leather reclining couches around a 70” smart HDTV, streaming and USB/HDMI inputs, pool table with four pub seats, ping pong conversion top, darts and a 6 guest dining table perfect for playing cards, board games or enjoying a home cooked meal. Music supplied by Sonos speakers if you have the app on your phone.

The winding staircase leads you to the huge Lazy Bear Loft with two new king beds, nightstands and en suite full bathroom with shower. We recently added a split air conditioning/heater unit to the loft for additional desired comfort. There is a multi-usb charging station for your convenience.

Past the loft is a fully furnished bedroom with new comfy queen bed, large dresser plus a newly remodeled bathroom. Enjoy a smart HDTV with any of your streaming accounts. There is a multi-usb charging station for your convenience.

A couple more steps up the staircase you will find a special nook built just for kids. Windows allow the young ones to get a birds eye view out to the lush landscape or even bird watch.

The locked bedroom upstairs is the owners room and is off limits.

Last, but certainly not least, the Lazy Cub quarters downstairs just off the kitchen has a new bunk bed and chest, with a full bath next door. A 42” HDTV is available for any of your streaming accounts. We also have a blue ray DVD player perfect for kids that want to watch their favorite movie.

Probably one of your favorite moments while being a guest at the Lazy Bear Cabin is taking your group on a walk around our quiet neighborhood. You can catch a view of the golf course and beautiful Odell Lake all within a half mile!

This is a No-Pet rental. If we discover that you brought a pet, we reserve the right to not refund a portion of your damage deposit. Due to family allergies, we will have to pay extra to have the floors and carpets cleaned. Thank you for understanding and abiding by our no-pet policy.

We ask that guests remove their shoes while in the home. We have shoe racks throughout. Most guests bring comfy house slippers/socks to wear.

We installed a Ring doorbell camera system for security purposes while the property is vacant. We turn off the unit while guests are on property.
