The view is phenomenal!! John is very easy to work with and was responsive when we did need to reach out. We would absolutely stay here again, if we're lucky enough to visit the Finger Lakes again!! The bouquet of fresh flowers on the coffee table was a nice touch, too.

This house was amazing. Every single amenity you could want, clean, and so comfortable! I would definitely recommend staying here! We came with 8 friends, and we all fit very comfortably. Game nights, movie nights, hot tub chills - it was awesome.

The Fox Den property was an ideal spot for our annual girl’s trip. The house was well equipped with everything we needed for cooking our meals. The view overlooking the lake was spectacular and the numerous wildlife sightings kept us entertained each day. Our host John quickly responded to us very quickly with our requests and all things got resolved in a matter of minutes. The house was spacious and beautifully decorated with comfortable furniture both inside and on the deck. We hope to return again next year.

Beautiful home - plenty of space with lots to do. Enjoyed the view of the view of the lake and wildlife. Great location that is close to the town, breweries, wineries and lake. We found it very relaxing. The host is very responsive. It was very relaxing! Loved our stay.

House was great our ski week at Bristol. Also, the owners were very responsive to a few questions we contacted them for, but most resonsive when they contacted us within the half hour of check out to let us know we had left a few valuables behind! Thank you John/Jasmine and cleaning staff!

Perfect Stay

Rented the cabin for a bachelorette trip and It was perfect. The house was exactly as listed, honestly it was bigger than we thought, and VERY clean. Owner’s communication was fantastic. Would highly recommended to everyone. If I could give it 6 stars I would.

Fabulous family getaway!

We spent 4 nights here over Thanksgiving and had a wonderful stay. The home accommodated 11 people from our family, ranging in age from 2-79, very easily. The views are gorgeous, the house was stocked with all the essentials, and the communication with the homeowner John was excellent. We will definitely be returning!

3 Days with 3 old buddies

Excellent property and owner. Place was immaculately clean and well prepared for our visit. Lacked nothing except better weather. Wildlife roamed the property and everything was tip top.

Family Get-a-way

It was wonderful. It was great to see the lake again. It’s been a good 40 years since I’ve been here. So many memories came flooding back. The accommodations were outstanding. So sad to leave Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Beautiful Place

This place is absolutely beautiful. It was 4 of us plus child and we had an absolute blast staying there. The deck has beautiful views and everything in the house was superclean. The location was ideal, we were 15 mins from the downtown, beach, major wineries etc. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quite stay with lots of things to do around.

Beautiful relaxiny stay

This is a quiet peaceful place overlooking Canandaigua Lake. The deck was a perfect place to hang out and relax. The fire pit out back was just a nice. Plenty of room, wildlife and comfort. You dont need to bring anything but food and drinks. Highly recommended for a quiet relaxing getaway with 3 families.

Jasmine & I purchased the property in 2020 knowing it needed a full renovation. We have poured our heart and soul into making The Fox Den a place that not only we could enjoy, but our guests as well. We spent months making sure that we had every accommodation our guests could want and we are always looking to make things better.
