North Shore Lake Tahoe - Near Ski Resort and Beach

Come and stay in a wonderful warm house that your whole family can enjoy. It is close to many activities and just five miles from Northstar Ski Resort and two miles from the nearest Safeway superstore. The house has everything you need. The kitchen is fully equipped with various kitchen gadgets, pots, pans, cooking utensils, and enough cutlery and dishes so you're not constantly doing dishes. Simply bring your own personal items. There are ROKU TVs in the living room and all three bedrooms (total of four). Numerous VHS tapes and DVDs available for viewing. Lots of great restaurants are close and the quaint little town of Truckee is nearby.

Our group had a great time. Location worked great for us, close by but away from the main road. Space for everyone one to feel comfortable.

Wonderful, Quite, and Quaint

Myself, wife and our five kids had an amazing time staying at this well kept and spacious place. Walking out the back was like you had your own private access to a forest. All the amenities and supplies were more than we anticipated. Host does an amazing job preparing the place for her guest!

House is well appointed. More than enough kitchen essentials.

Beds were comfortable, boys played in the snow right behind the house. So convenient!!!

Our favorite place at Tahoe

It's the 4th time we're staying in Peggy's house, and we had a great time as always. The location is great - close to town but secluded with direct forest access from the porch, the house is well-equipped, and the layout is great.We had some snags with water leaks that were taken care of quickly.Hoping to come back for our 5th time soon!

Wonderful Stay!

This house is a great spot for a family. Lots of space to be together downstairs and a loft (with toys!) where the kids can play on their own if they want to. The house was incredibly well-appointed with every kitchen utensil, game, and movie you could want. We really appreciated that they had a sled in the garage since we didn’t bring one and were there for a short trip.

Spacious and well laid out home

The home was well stocked and the layout is nice and convenient. Downstairs master bedroom is very spacious. Kitchen is well stocked and there are plenty of towels and bedding. Only thing is the loft does not have futons, they are sofa beds and one of them is not really functional as a bed. But there were plenty of other beds so not really an issue. Nice location with good food nearby.

Perfect place

We loved it. Very clean, comfortable. Everything you need and more. Thank you for having us. Would love it longer term as we have family in the area . We had my more adult granddaughters. Daughter and her husband and us and there was enough space and quiet space for everyone. Living room couch needs more cushions but that was no big deal. I still give it an Atttt

Tahoe Family gathering

We had a wonderful time. The house was equip with everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Walking trails behind home, short drive to the lake, Tahoe City for rafting and restaurants. Plan on returning next summer.

4th of July stay with family

Peggy’s property was a perfect fit for our family trip to Tahoe. We were conveniently located, short drive to the stores and lake. We enjoyed that the house was fully stocked. The kids loved the play area. Only thing was beds weren’t the most comfortable. Bedding was more for winter, it got a bit hot as we were visiting during a warmer weekend. Loved Kings beach area of Tahoe would definitely return again!

Amazing stay

Very cute house, very spacious with all the desired utensils and necessities. Great decoration with lots of toys, books and kids movies that our children loved. Great retreat after a busy day kayaking and enjoying Lake Tahoe. A good shaded trail behind the house to enjoy the evening. Will come back to Lake Tahoe and it will be this same house.

Will absolutely be back!

Loved everything about this home! My kids had an amazing time. My son enjoyed all the toys, the older kids played board games all day. Awesome selection of VHS/DVD’s. Beautiful backyard and front yard. Beds were very comfortable. Thank you Peggy!

Easy breezy!

Life is a struggle, but every once in awhile things just fall into place, like our stay at your house, it was the best, it was easy. From beginning to end, easy to find location, lockbox, blankets, towels, spices, board games, Netflix and that mud room was so great! I love that mudroom! Everything was just easy, which makes all a family vacation enjoyable!

Ski weekend at NorthStar

This lovely cabin is just perfect for our ski trip (3 adults and 4 kids). We rented it last year and will certainly do it again next year. The house is clean, cozy, you can find everything you need for cooking, and it's close to the resort.

Nice and cozy

The house is very nice and quiet. There are many games and dvd that good and fit with the kids. I stay during a Christmas time and their blanket is very nice and warm. This house is very good for big family. The kitchen is fully stocked with condiments and cooking equipment. I am very impressed. Lastly, communicate is very fast, fast reply never let me wait. Very nice host. Thank you

We loved our stay at Peggy’s home! The house was very spacious for 3 families. There were plenty of things for the kids to play with. The house was fully equipped with cooking utensils, blankets and towels. The house had a nice backyard where the kids could play I. The snow. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Family trip

We had a great time. The property was conveniently located, close to the beach, stores and restaurants. The house was very nice and clean, in a great neighborhood. We like to enjoy our morning coffee on the back deck facing the woods. Peggy is a great host. She communicated with us promptly and follow up on our check in. I would stay there again. Highly recommend this place.

Mini Vacation

We wanted somewhere to relax before our conference in Reno. We were not disappointed. This home was perfect. Close to shops/lake/restaurants. It was very clean and comfortable. Could not have asked for a better location! If we ever visit Lake Tahoe again we will definitely stay here. Terrie Price

Best VRBO home!

Yes, this was truly the best home we have rented. Location perfect,close to recreation in a quiet upscale neighborhood. Exceptionally clean & comfortable. Movies,books,toys,games for all ages. Well stocked kitchen with plenty of nice tableware & cookware. All this & a great price too! We had a wonderful stay at your lovely home, thank you Peggy!!!
