River s Edge West is located in the heart of downtown Apalachicola near Oyster City Brewery and night life. It has a queen bed and queen sleeper sofa which can easily accommodate four travelers. The coffee bar constructed of old river cypress has under counter refrigerator, coffee station and hot plate for your convenience. Your room is located on the second floor of the newly constructed building. Entrance is via the street side entrance and stairwell. You must be able to navigate stairs since we do not have an elevator to the second story. Your private bathroom has a walk in shower with glass tile block, river rock and porcelain tile to relax in after a day at the beach or a night on the town. Tastefully decorated but not frumpy River s Edge West has the feel of old Apalachicola.

Very nice stay

We loved the area and location. Right within walking distance of downtown. Live music at night and close enough to St.George Island to ride right over to beach. Very clean property and provided everything we needed for our brief stay. Would recommend and will be staying again.

Never disappointed

We have stayed at this property for 3 years. We have enjoyed the friendly people and are considering relocating to an area close. We plan to continue our yearly tradition. Donna treats us like her life long friends. Highly recommend.

Loved the apartment. It had lots of character. Nice bathroom, high ceilings, cute little balcony, and the host, Donna was friendly, gave us good insight on the area and very accessible.

Great location and set up for Apalach….

So much fun!

We lived our stay in Apalachicola. We could walk everywhere and Donna’s place was perfect for my husband and me. Would definitely stay again!

Charming apartment in charming Apalachicola

River Edge West is special because of its unique decor and great location. Apalachicola is walkable from there.

New Favorite

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay. We visit Apalachicola annually and always try to stay in the downtown area. This unit is new and we found that it had everything that we needed. Note that it is not equipped for cooking, but with all of the dining options available and our short stay, the lack of a kitchen was not a factor. The owner does provide a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. That was all that we needed. Donna even provided coffee for guests to use as well. We will certainly try and stay there on our next visit.

Great location

Have stayed here several times.We frequently visit Apalachicola and this is our preferred destination when we are noting bringing our dog If visiting Apalachicola you cannot ask for a better location with quality accommodations

Romantic getaway!

Great apartment and perfect location

Donna’s place was extremely spacious and very clean. Location is right in the heart of downtown. We loved the place and will return.

The repeated 28-step climb from street level was difficult for us seniors. We were told the elevator was for wheelchairs only. Prospective guests deserve to know about the difficult access in advance.

Charming and quaint place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay in Rivers Edge West studio one bedroom! The one thing you may not get from the pictures is how spacious the studio is and the small kitchen efficiency has everything you need. Donna is great at communicating everything you need to know. Location is great, we were able to walk around the town to enjoy all the shops and restaurants!
