As a builder from Kentucky and a lifelong Apalachicola fan, I searched for the perfect location to create a comfortable family getaway. We designed this home with the things we appreciate most on vacation: comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, plenty of space, and a great location.

Located across from the scenic Apalachicola River and within easy walking distance of downtown, you can park the car and enjoy restaurants, shops, galleries, parks, festivals, and historic sites.

Apalach Guest House

We had a wonderful stay in Apalachicola. We stayed in the Apalach Guest House and it was great. The house was so clean and had all the amenities we needed. We hope to come back and spend time there again.

Great location!!!

We loved the Apalach Guest House for our weekend Getaway! My husband, daughter and I met my parents at the Apalach Guest House for a weekend visit. The location could not have been any better - just steps away from all the restaurants, bars and shops and the bay!!!

What a GEM!

This place was perfect for our stay and the property manager was fantastic as well. Everything was within walking distance, plenty of parking, super clean, well stocked - I can't say enough good things about it!

Great location

Quite comfortable & roomy accommodation. Very high quality build/decor. Walking distance to essentially everything in the historic town, and the waterfront. Location felt safe and private.

Apalachicola Dream

Love Apalachicola! It is like stepping back in time with the quaint shops and ambiance! The property is located near the bay and in the middle of all Apalachicola has to offer. Great eats too! Property was clean well stocked and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

6 year old birthday

It was a perfect place to stay. House was close to shops and restaurants. Will love to stay again. Having a grill there was extra special. Cozy and a great place to relax. Grand daughter loved it for her birthday!

Fabulous property and wonderful location!

Perfect location for walking to dining and shopping. LOVED the fenced in back yard/patio. Plenty of room for our party of 4. Kitchen is well stocked, however, no dishwasher. Would absolutely rent this place again. Loved our short visit to Apalach!

I had a wonderful stay at the apalach guest house back in December. The house was very clean, big bedrooms, and alot of space. It was located perfectly to all of the restaurants and bars in downtown. We walked everywhere around. Can't wait to come back and stay again!!!!

The only place to stay.....

The AGH was the most comfortable, adorable, well thought out place to stay with friends or family. Kathy, the owner, was the so quick in response. I had left an item and she was able to mail it back to me. We would not stay anywhere else. They have thought of everything.... Can literally walk everywhere, no need for a car unless going to St. George Island. Can't wait to schedule our next trip.

This property is the perfect retreat because you can park the car and leave parked until it is time to head home. Everything is walking distance. The property is secluded yet the river is across the street. There is a sense home with an established lot, plenty of shade, plenty of privacy, plenty of quiet. Walk one direction to the festivals in the park, another to the festivals downtown, and yet another to the fireworks on the river. There is abundant shade and enough parking to keep the boat hitched to the truck while paring three more vehicles. This is a complete home on a residential lot with refreshing shade and creature comforts. Not available long term. Never advertised on Craigslist.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Designed with families in mind yet delightful for couples. The full size washer and dryer, two full baths, Wi-Fi, expanded cable, ironing board and iron and attention to detail are unique to downtown actual home. It is not a loft but a residence. Downtown locations are idea and this particular location beats them all because it is private and spacious as well as closest to all possible events. Events downtown, or in the park, or in the marina or by the river are all easily accessible by foot. The cars stay parked.
Everything is new. New beds, baths, kitchen, fenced in patio and expanded parking. Ground Floor home has wide hallways and door ways are wheelchair friendly.
