This cabin was a very comfortable stay for our short visit to the park. The location was nice and a beautiful drive to Yosemite Valley, while being able to explore the Mariposa grove a short distance from the cabin. I would recommend for people who don’t want the crowds of Yosemite Valley.

A great stay with elderly parents who needed a standing shower vs a tub shower. Great set up for that as it was in the master room. Cozy home, great kitchen with everything needed for cooking and hanging out. Super tv, good wifi.

Beautiful setting. The cabin was perfect and comfortable. The community is lovely. The propert management is fantastic. We loved it and would highly recommend!

Convenient location, cozy cabin. The kitchen provides everything needed for fixing meals other than the actual food. As some previous reviews stated, bathroom amenities consist of soap only so bring your own. They are easy to deal with and very responsive.

The location at Yosemite was excellent and we could see all the sites we wanted to see fairly easily. The cabin was rustic, but clean and we enjoyed the fireplace since it got quite cool at night. The kitchen was well stocked.

This quiet, roomy cabin was great for visiting Yosemite. Though basic (no bathroom toiletries, kitchen extras etc) we enjoyed our stay. No lighting facilities for the fire and when we requested them in the cool afternoon of arrival, there was no response. Next day we managed to get some kindling. Cabin cosy when warmed up.

Beautiful spot

Staying in the middle of Yosemite is just about perfect anyway but being so close to a new trailhead made things even better. The cabin was cozy and perfect for our needs.

The location of this cabin within Yosemite is a major advantage. The park is immense, and we would have spent extra hours each day driving if we had stayed in one of the bordering towns. Everything about the cabin was as advertised, and it suited our needs perfectly.

The cabin was very cozy and it was located in a nice spot, check in and check out was easy, the cabin was nice and clean overall i loved my stay.

Perfect little cabin!

This was the perfect little cabin to stay in during our visit to Yosemite National Park. It was convenient that it was inside the park and we did not have to make driving reservations. It was a great place to come back to and relax after a long day on the trails!

Beautiful Cabin, awesome park

The cabin was clean and comfortable, the location was great, we were a few steps from a market. Really nice quiet trail heads closed by. If I go break to Yosemite, I will get this Cabin again

Great location to visit Yosemite

Very comfortable cabin inside Yosemite National Park. Beautiful location in Wawona! When we left on a Saturday over 300 cars were in line to enter the park. You avoid the line by staying at the Redwoods!

Awesome location

Great cabin to stay in if visiting Yosemite. Well stocked and comfortable. Nice outdoor space to relax after a day spent hiking or seeing the sites in Yosemite. Quiet neighborhood and just up the road from a small market in case you need anything. Easy check in and check out process.

Two nights ar Dunning's cabin in Wawona

Had a lovely time spent for our two nights in Yosemite with my two kids and sister. The cabin was clean and a nice brrak from the crowds in the Valley. Great time had by held at Glacier Point, Mariposa Grove and all the spectacular beauty around us.

It was so great to stay in this lovely cabin inside the park at Yosemite. It is a very unique way to experience Yosemite while being away from the big crowds. Quiet and lovely! The cabin was prefect for my adult daughter and I. Have two beds and two bathrooms really works for a father/daughter. Had the most amazing trip ever!

Cabin in the woods with neighbors

Beautiful location in Yosemite. Nice property. Within walking distance to small market. Reminded us of family cottage so felt right at home. Comfortable furniture and nicely outfitted kitchen. Enjoyed our stay.

Overall impression is good. Location and layout of property is great. Decor is somewhat dated. Utensils in kitchen could be updated to eliminate older items that are worn and/or duplicated.

Comfortable and homey hiking home base!

We enjoyed ourselves at Dunnings Retreat! Check in and check out was very simple, even though we arrived after the check in time. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and utensils. Thank you for having us!
