Dear Matt, We appreciate so much that you took the time to share your experience in this amazing cottage. This was the perfect time of year to visit. The crowds have lessened and most kids are back in school. The home itself is in immaculate condition equipped with all the amenities and appliances you would expect in your own home. The golf cart is a HUGE plus and makes getting to the beach very easy. I know your wife had an issue with the beach access that is dedicated to for use for the guest at Magnolia Cottages. There were 2 men that were telling our guests that the beach was private and they could no use the beach, I know this is upsetting since you have a small child and your wife was stranded thinking she could not use the access. Unfortunately, our area is in a big dispute over what is private and public beach access. They wanted anyone that was a guest to think that they could not use this access. We apologize for these to men that had no right to block the pathway to the beach. The Walton County Sherriff was notified and this will not occur again! In my 20 years in Vacation Rentals I have never had this occurrence happen . We hope you will be visiting the area again in the near future? If so, give us a call direct.
