The Country Mountain Getaway is nestled on the backside of the San Francisco Peaks in Northern Arizona, just 10 minutes from beautiful Flagstaff, AZ. Enjoy all the amazing trails, mountain life, and ATV adventures just minutes from the front door! Sunset Crater, Lockett Meadow, Cinder Hills, and the Lava tubes to name just a few. Day trips to Lake Powell, Sedona, Grand Canyon, and Snowbowl ski area as well! The home has all the amenities with a fully fenced yard!

*We do ask that you crate your animals if left at the house unattended. This is due to past guest destruction of the property when left alone.

It was nice to find a well maintained pet friendly location. It was fun being on the North East side of Flagstaff, enjoyed exploring the other side of the mountain.

Shauna was a wonderful host!! The kitchen was well stocked with great dishes and utensils! The cabin has a beautiful view of the mountains and countryside! We enjoyed walking our dog each day!! The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful! We had a wonderful time!

Property was perfect for companions traveling with fur babies. Nice little fencing around yard, cute lights outside, FRESH EGGS 😳. We enjoyed our stay.

This is a great stay. The area is nice and quiet. The host responded fast and efficiently. This is a nice property with all the amenities for a family stay.

The property was wonderful, had a great location and met all our needs. Most importantly all the house systems worked flawlessly, from the hot water to the heating and cooling units. The neighborhood is very quiet which was another plus. The owner provided ample supplies and everything was clean upon our arrival. Would highly recommend this property when in the Flagstaff area.

The house was absolutely wonderful! It was perfect for our snowboarding trip and had just enough space. It was decorated for Christmas and felt so homey for the time we were there! Has all the amenities you could need and a perfect size.

Great spot to experience Flagstaff

We really enjoyed our stay here! The house was so cute and had everything we needed! And it was conveniently located to all that we wanted to see and do while we were in town!

Wonderful little house

Thanks for allowing us to stay in your beautiful little house. It was very clean and comfortable and closer to GCNP than any hotel in Flagstaff.

Enjoyable base camp

Accomodations were nice and loved the relatively quiet location compared to others we’ve stayed in Flagstaff. The house was well appointed, comfortable, and while on outskirts of Flagstaff, still really easy to get around and visit our daughter at NAU, go to restaurants, and go on hikes. Would definitely stay again…

Great Find

The place was perfect. Close to town but far enough away that it was very peaceful. Inside was perfect size and very comfortable. Would stay again.

Hello! I am a stay at home mom to 4 awesome kiddos and wife to a great husband, Tim. I graduated with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Northern Arizona University. My husband is a local contractor and together we have built a home that we would hope to stay with our own family.

Growing up on a farm in rural Colorado I have always been around and loved animals. We don’t currently have as many animals as I grew up with but we do have 2 cats, 2 dogs, and 16 chickens on our property. Hopefully the fully fenced yard is a nice dog run for any furry friends guests bring along with them.

Our property was built ground up on the back corner of our personal property. A piece of property that was neglected by the previous owners. We bought the original house as an unlivable/condemned foreclosure. After a few months of gutting and rebuilding the house we made it into our home. After transforming the interior we moved to the exterior. On our personal property we built knocked down the waist high weeds and planned out the garden area, kids play area, and Grass/patio/gazebo area. The next summer we added a chicken coop. With my husband building custom homes he had the itch to build a small guest house on the back corner of our acre lot. Within a year we had it up and I was able to put in the interior touches. We hope this house and it’s location can be the destination of some amazing memories for you and your guests!
