Historic Home on Sullivan’s Island • Across from Beach Path

The house offers a relaxed, classic beach house experience in a 1925 home. Just 9 yards from the footpath to the beach on the Atlantic Ocean, it is easy to enjoy the water throughout the day.

This is a pet friendly home with approval.

The upper level private unit sleeps 8 and includes four bedrooms: one king with en suite bathroom, two with double beds, and one with twin beds. There are two indoor bathrooms total, one en suite and one shared by the other three bedrooms (no bathtub).

The home includes a full kitchen, living room, dining room, and a large screened porch.

A rooftop deck offers a peaceful outdoor space with seating. While it once had ocean views, trees and neighboring homes now largely obscure the view, though it remains a great place to relax and enjoy the breeze.

Additional features include central air and heat, a washer and dryer located in a separate laundry room, 4 beach chairs for guest use, and linens and bath towels (no beach towels).

There are two outdoor showers: one under the stairs for rinsing off after the beach, and one on the rooftop deck for cooling off. These are not full indoor style showers.

Guests have exclusive access to the upper level and rooftop deck. The lower level is occupied year round by a quiet family member with a separate entrance.

Sullivan’s Island is located just across the Intracoastal Waterway from Charleston, with wide sandy beaches, historic Fort Moultrie, a lively restaurant area, public tennis courts, and a classic playground with a gazebo.
