Perfect beachfront home with dramatic views of the Pacific Ocean and panoramic views from Monterey to Santa Cruz! Spectacular 3000 square foot home at Pajaro Dunes located on a secluded expansive beach on the magnificent Monterey Bay coastline.

The main house has three bedrooms--all with an ocean view. The Guesthouse is perfect for teenagers, kids or a separate family with 1-Queen bed, 4-Twin beds and a full bathroom.

The kitchen is fully stocked and equipped for your cooking needs. Just bring your food.

One of the few Pajaro homes that you can drive right to the front door--most homes in the area are accessed by a long boardwalk. The driveway will accommodate two cars, with nearby street parking for additional cars.

Pajaro Dunes has 24-hour security, biking & jogging trails, volleyball and basketball courts. The tennis courts are 1-block from the house. Kayaking and bird watching at Elkhorn Slough is ten minutes away.

Nearby cities such as Santa Cruz, Monterey and Carmel are only a 20-30 minutes away including famous golf courses, restaurants and the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

Master Suite Upstairs - King & Private Bath - with closing pocket doors for privacy.
Master Suite Upstairs - Queen & Private Bath - with closing pocket doors for privacy.
Bedroom Downstairs - Sofa with Queen mattress & Shared Full Bath - with closing pocket doors for privacy.
*Please note that staircase for the upstairs bedrooms are located on the outside of the house.

MAKING MEMORIES

From the moment we walked in through the outside door, we were so excited to be at this house. The entire house is so unique. We loved how the outdoor entrances made it seem like we had our own private areas, yet the sliding doors allowed us to be open to the family below. The outside deck was AMAZING! So many places to sit and enjoy the views. The kitchen had everything you could ever need to create a beautiful setting at the large dining table. We loved the fun and fancy glassware, along with the ice machine in the bar area. The extra house off the main house was a perfect spot for the families who needed a separate space with extra beds and a private bathroom. The path to the beach was right next to the home and parking was ideal. We have stayed in many homes at Pajaro where we had to walk a good distance in order to get to the main property. This location allowed us to park in the driveway and walk right in. I can't express enough how beautiful the views are in this property. The only downfall is if you are traveling with someone who may struggle with stairs. We didn't realize the bottom queen bed and bathroom was a pull out bed from the couch and not an additional bedroom. Overall, this was one of our favorite homes we have rented so far. Our family comes to Pajaro every year and we stay in a different house each time. I would definitely recommend this property!

A perfect respite

We rented this house with another family to celebrate our daughter’s winter break birthday. We live nearby but felt like we were a million miles away during our stay at this amazing beachfront property. Everything in the description is accurate and there were no surprises. The house was very clean and well cared for. The view was incredible, especially with the winter sunsets. We enjoyed a fire in the pellet stove one night but we had good weather and didn’t really need a fire. The hot tub on the deck overlooking the ocean is priceless. I was absolutely amazed at how well stocked the house was. The kitchen has everything you need and more—multiple coffee pots, blender, kitchen aid mixer, pans, spices, serving platters galore, etc. Plus every room has multiple extra pillows and blankets and towels. Thank you for an amazing stay! I hope we will come back again!

Amazing family vacation

We love house 42! Its beach views and living space are unmatched- room for the whole extended family to gather, play games, stare at the ocean, watch wildlife. We can cook and eat large family meals, and there’s room for the whole gang to sleep comfortably (10 adults and a baby, spanning four generations). The house is well appointed with everything we need. The hot tub is a gem. Greg and his team are great hosts and very responsive to questions. Highly recommend.

Another fabulous vacation at perfect beach home

While we were very fortunate with the weather, we also thoroughly enjoyed returning to this very equipped, beautiful home on the beach. All the details are addressed in the kitchen and elsewhere. The living areas are perfect for visiting and entertaining

Beautiful Location

Our family had a wonderful time together in this lovely home. Our son had been deployed for months and it was a chance for all of us to be together under one roof to celebrate his return. The home is unbelievably equipped for large groups. T/he kitchen has literally every item you could imagine for preparing family meals. Cook pots, popcorn maker, you name it! Beds were comfortable and the home is quite spacious. It seemed as though the cleaning staff hadn't been in for a while, as there was dust all over, but otherwise the home was very tidy. Our only disappointing incident was with my daughter's service animal. By law, service animals are not considered pets, and do not need to be disclosed on any rental agreements. She did notify the staff upon check in at the front gate, and was told that it was unnecessary to list the animal, as it wasn't a pet. We then had a neighbor complain about seeing a dog on the property and security came to give us a citation, As soon as they knew we had a service animal that apologized and left without incident. This was seen as a simple misunderstanding. However, the owner called the house to yell at my daughter about having a pet on his property. And then, he added an extra charge to our account for having a pet. When I brought this to VRBO they graciously removed the charge. But, It was disappointing that the owner is uneducated about the Americans with Disabilities Act and respect for those with disabilities.

Best vacation ever

Clean, fully stocked kitchen with cooking equipment. Beautiful view all day from all rooms. 2nd time staying here, plan to stay again next year!

Great location

This is the 2nd year our family has vacationed here. The views from the house and bedrooms are all beach and ocean. The deck is large with plenty of chairs and benches plus a very clean Hot Tub. Kitchen is fully stocked and you have easy access to the beach. House is super clean and there is plenty of room for everyone. It is exactly as described.

Great house and location.

We loved the house for our family of 7, 5 teens ages 16-19. Great location. Fun beach. The house was setup with everything we needed. Great family time. We would definitely go back. The ocean view is spectacular. The courts are located nearby. Beautiful mornings with walks in the beach were a perfect start to our day. Thank you!

Perfect Home

The house was amazing and big enough for our party of 10 adults. It was stocked with everything we needed and more. The beauty of the ocean outside the living room was a perfect beginning and ending everyday. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone.

Fantastic home with premier location

We absolutely loved our stay at this home in Pajaro. Our extended family appreciated the roominess and great floor plan. Very clean and well equipped . The hot tub overlooking the ocean was a fantastic experience.

Perfect Pajaro Week

We've stayed at this great home multiple times with our family, and keep coming back for the gorgeous setting and views, huge, comfortable great room where all can gather and fabulously stocked kitchen. Fantastic for Families or Adults but ...

Property is made to enjoy oceanfront stay. Huge deck, multiple deck chairs and sun lounges. Hot tub that overlooks the ocean with clear windbreak. Separate over garage accomodations for kids to stay together or whole family for privacy. Very clean. One issue - small discreet camera was mounted on top of tv. We pulled off of double back tape and left it dangle down but tv room is the downstairs bedroom which female in our party used and detected during stay. At end of stay notified property manager for explanation - no response.

House 43 Vacation 4th of July

Our family has spent the 4th of July at Pajaro Dunes every year since 1974. We've rented several homes over the years and House #42 is our favorite! The front deck facing the ocean is probably the best at Pajaro! The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfortable, and the spa is amazing. We also love having a garage! You'll love House 42!

Time at the dunes

The house was fine except for the outside stairs to those bedrooms. I found going outside was too risky for us in our mid seventies with some joint issues. We had to move to the TV room and sleep on the sofa bed. Not optimal. The house should have a true bedroom on the first level. Other than looking a little tired, it was a good time with the family. Being on the beach was perfect.,

Beautiful Beach House

Gorgeous location with breathtaking views of the ocean and beach. Easy access to the beach with lots of beach chairs, sand toys…Plenty of space for family; sleeping, meal times and gathering. Great kitchen with everything you would need, extra fridge, BBQ, games and a large TV. The outside deck has lounge & deck chairs, picnic table and a hot tub. Love this place!!

Beautiful view!!

This property has beautiful views! Gated community. It’s not updated but that didn’t matter to us, it was clean! Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. Beds were comfy. We loved the large deck with chairs and the hot tub. We walked the beach every day, fished and our grandkids found a lot of shells.

The home belonged to my wife's aunt who bought the home in 1973. When she passed in 1997 the family sold the home. We always would say "wouldn't it be nice to one day own a home like Aunt Esther had at Pajaro Dunes"? Fast forward to 2002 while surfing the net for homes for sale at Pajaro Dunes I noticed a picture of the deck and the description of the home and we we couldn't believe the house was for sale again. We bought it back right then and have had it in the family ever since. We are happy to share with others this unique home and all the memories that are created there.
