Please note that starting in September 2026, the complex will be undergoing an extensive exterior renovation project that is expected to extend into March 2027. The project will be noisy and there will be times when your balcony will not be accessible.

Hodnett Cooper is pleased to present a limited collection of Villas on St. Simons Island. This efficiency style accommodation is a perfect alternative to a standard hotel room. Much more spacious and with some cooking ability.

Salt Air 218 features an efficiency style kitchen with two-burner cook top, full size refrigerator with freezer, mini dishwasher, microwave/convection oven.

Community amenities include a swimming pool, covered parking, and privacy gate.

This community is conveniently located to the St. Simons Village shops and restaurants. Additionally, Salt Air Villas are located less than 3/4 of a mile from the public beach access at the King & Prince.

Salt Air 218 rents daily and weekly and monthly and has two queen size beds.

Bedding Includes: 1 Queen and a sleeper sofa.

A nightmare

It was very difficult to reach out after hour office staff. When I finally did their phone sound was so poor that I could barely hear them. After checking in I found out that there was only 1 bed in the room which was not as described and. It as pictures. I called the property management and she did have me credit for one night and promised to switch me to a different property after 2 days. Today is the day that we were supposed to switch and now no one from the office is answering my phone or email. We are now stuck in our room, neither we can switch or make plans to go outside. Not to mention we have to pack everything again and it ruined a day. Not to mention the tv in our room was not working also and no one came to fix it aftwr reporting it to the property manager few times. My daughter was bored. This was the worse nightmare of our vacation history and will never use verbo for vacation ever again. Will also spread the word in social media and with friends and family. No one deserve this kind of trouble after paying thousands of dollar. Even motel 6 does better than this.

We are so disappointed to learn we were unable to rectify this situation to your standards. We take full responsibility for the change in furniture and apologize for the inconvenience. A rollaway bed was offered to be delivered which was declined, and a refund was immediately issued for the night. We genuinely hoped the upgrade from the original rental of an inland studio to a two-bedroom, two-bath, direct Oceanview, full condominium at an oceanfront community at 4pm the next day would allow you to spend the vacation relaxing. We appreciate your feedback and have removed the incorrect photos from the website and updated the description.

Overall great experience.

This rental was for a mother-daughter trip. The room was very clean, AC worked great, full supply of dishes to cook with, plenty of space for two adults. Guarenteed parking spot for the condo. The location is great for either a walk or a quick drive to the beach, Winn Dixie, downtown shops and more. The only negatives from our experience- According to the descriptions, there was full bedding for the pull out sofa in our room including sheets and blankets. When we arrived, there was only a fitted sheet, a flat sheet and a single pillow case for the three pillows. After calling the off hours manager, he apologized and called for house keeping. (Since i saw complaints about not being able to reach them, the after hours manager's phone number is listed in the packet you get at check in, incase someone needa that in the future) He returned my call and said they were on the way with pillow cases, but that they do not provide a blanket or comfort or for the pull out bed. I explained it was listed on their description which was the only reason we didn't bring one. I continued that we would get one from Walmart. The after hours manager offered to reimburse me for the blanket. I lost the receipt so I didn't follow through with his offer. But I do appreciate the attempt to make it right. However the next two days I received an excess of phone calls. When I did answer and explained what had happened a different manager said that yes they could have gotten a blanket. Regardless, I would suggest some additional communication system between the day time managers and after hours. For anyone staying who plans to use the pull out, I would suggest bringing a blanket just incase. Also, I did not bring this up to managemnet because it did not effect our stay. Several dishes (especially pots and pans) were put away dirty with oil and food still on them. This could have been a previous tenant and it is unrealistic to expect house keeping to check every single dish, so we just washed everything we used before we used it. Id suggest the same for anyone staying in the future. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return in the future.

The property is not as advertised. It is a mile from Neptune park, not just a few blocks as stated. Also it’s listed as a 1 bedroom with a sleeper sofa in the common space…. There is no bedroom, the queen bed is in the common space, with the foldout sofa literally within arms reach. It’s basically a hotel room with a foldout and a kitchenette kinda thing. It was nice and clean, but it reaked of institutional cleaner that made your eyes water, almost caustic smelling. I didn’t make a scene, or a big deal about it since I didn’t want to ruin my elderly mother’s “surprise” vacation. I would also say that it didn’t really ‘feel’ like a VRBO, nothing personal or hospitable since it’s being run through a local realty management company. Only amenity in the unit was 2 tiny bars of soap, and some dishes in the kitchenette. Also the TV only gets 6 channels.
