We came for the Ironman World Championships in Oct. and this condo was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere for the race, restaurants were close by, the view was perfect, I could go on and on with the positives. We were the 2nd guests to stay after the kitchen had been remolded and it was beautiful and fully stocked with everything you could need. The bathrooms are updated and nicely decorated, ohhhh and there’s a washer and dryer, you don’t need to travel home with dirty clothes. The air conditioning works great. Ron was on top of all communications and we couldn’t ask for better hosts. We would certainly stay here again.

I was very happy from the start. What I understand I was the first to enjoy the newly renovated kitchen. I have stayed at this building one year prior and love the location. A bonus to this unit was it had air-conditioning! I survived at the last unit, however, if you have people sleeping in the living room area with the noise of a major roadway, they might not sleep too well while leaving windows open to a major roadway and the ocean for that matter. Ron was also very flexible with my travel plans! Great washer and dryer and a lot of extra amenities to use at the beach as well! Parking is also a breeze!

This property was everything we could hope for. The view of the ocean is wonderful and there were plenty of beds for our family. The location is close to everything you could need. The hosts communicated clearly for check-in and were helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely stay again!

The condo was lovely, well stocked with everything anyone could need or use. Very clean. The bed, very comfortable. Plenty of beach towels, coolers, and other equipment. Great location.

This is one of the best short-term rentals I have stayed in. It was clean and comfortable. It was smartly designed and furnished--it felt like being at home. The mattress was extremely comfortable, and the showers were luxurious. The host was an excellent communicator. The location is within walking distance of several restaurants and bars, and the view is unbeatable. Highly recommend!

Everything was great just a little tricky going to get keys. A very kind resident assisted and then it was a piece of cake. Very tastefully decorated and great stock of items. Only negative was street can have some very noisy cars! View is absolutely magnificent!!!

Bed had a tempurpedic mattress, linens and pillows were comfortable and clean. AC units worked good. Showers were clean and had warm water. Stocked with items you like to bring to Hawaii but is not practical to pack. Was nicely decorated. Host was very good with communication. Location was within walking distance of restaurants and activities. Parking was easy. Overall great accommodations!

We had such a good time on our trip to Kona. Condo was in the perfect location to enjoy Kona and day trips all over the island. Would definitely stay here again!

Our trip to Hawaii

The location was fantastic, great security, the view from the room extraordinary, plenty of shops, restaurants, bars, within short walking distance. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great local condo!

Very nice, clean condo. Location was perfect for walking to shops, restaurants and a local small beach. Was nice to people watch from the balcony. Great place to stay.

My stay

Loved the condo and the location. People watching at its finest! My grandson enjoyed coming over and swimming in the nice pool. I would stay there again

Beautiful views and close to everything

This condo was exactly as shown in the pictures! It had everything we needed for a great stay in Kailua Kona. We loved being able to walk to so many restaurants and shops. Having parking included was awesome as well, since we had a rental car for exploring the island. Best part was having coffee on the lanai every morning and watching the cruise ships come in.

The beautiful condo

It was a great location. The place was very clean and nice. The only drawback is the noise outside and having no air conditioning.

Just 3 stars? Seems unfair given that our description says, "Please note that because the condo is among restaurants and shops, you will hear pedestrians and vehicles through dinner time. Kailua-Kona is a sleepy village, though, and it usually gets quiet after 9:00 PM on weekdays and 10:00 PM on weekends. Also please note that like most condos in the Kona Alii building, this unit does not have air conditioning."
