Come enjoy enchanting Waupaca and the beautiful Chain O’ Lakes with a relaxing stay at Taylor House of Waupaca. We are just across the road from Taylor Lake and Clear Water Harbor Bar and Resturant, perfect for weekly summer vacations, colorful fall weekends or a fun filled winter get away.
Two night minimum during fall, winter and spring.
Four night minimum stay during peak season, mid May through Labor Day.
Small pets may be approved by request of a pet addendum for $100.00 per stay.

When weather doesn’t cooperate…

This was the absolute perfect spot for our girls summer kayak trip. Rain and storms clouded our entire stay, but what a fantastic time we had. The hosts thought of everything. From a game room in the garage, large table for playing card games and board games, and a perfectly equipped kitchen with plenty of space for making meals, we had everything we needed. Rooms were spacious giving 8 women who always overpack, plenty of room to spread out. Each evening when weather cooperated, we enjoyed a wonderful area for a fire. Very quiet area although we did make it over to the Clear Water Harbor bar for a couple bands. Can’t say enough about this house, it was exactly what we needed when we couldn’t be out on the water.

Fall wedding

The Taylor House and our hosts were exemplary. The house was clean and organized. Check in and check out was very easy. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this house as a place to gather. The hosts, Terri and Dennis, made the process very simple.

Comfy and convenient

This home was perfect for our girls trip. Our group of 4 each had our own room for privacy and we had everything we needed. The location was convenient to all the activities in Waupaca, King, and the Chain. It was great to be within easy walking distance of several restaurants and the Veteran's Home.

Very nice property.

We stayed 4 nights and had a wonderful time. The owners Dennis & Terri were quick to respond to all of our questions prior to arriving so we knew just what we needed to bring. The property was amazingly clean! We were pleasantly surprised by all the little things that you may forget to bring that were there for you to use. We opened the garage to find a game room complete with ping pong, ladder ball, bean bags a stereo and more. Thanks for a wonderful stay you guys thought of everything! We enjoyed a campfire every evening with some wood that remained from others plus some we brought as well. You will NOT be disappointed.

Great location

Great location - easy on & off highway and to get around back into Waupaca. Plenty of room in the house to have area for cooking, playing games & relaxing. Would book this house again!

Nice for families

This house worked really well for us. Our teenagers liked the upstairs bedroom with 2 queen beds and a TV (plus their own bathroom), and they had a comfy spot of their own to hang out. We were visiting family in Appleton and the drive there was easy. The home has multiple areas to sit and relax, and it's set up nicely for reading! The weather was cold during our visit so we didn't get outside much, but we enjoyed our stay and it's a good place to gather! It was also very clean.

Family Get Away

We really enjoyed staying here. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. We will definitely consider staying here again when we come back to Wisconsin!

Clean and great extras

Great location, could walk to restaurants, shops and bars. Loved the ping pong table and other games in the garage. Nice fire pit and outdoor seating. We couldn't get the DVD player to work, may be missing a cord??? But not a big deal as the smart TV filled the void for the rainy day.

4 old golf nuts

The place was perfect for 4 guys golfing in central Wisconsin. We each had our own room; perfect! When not golfing we spent a lot of time on the patio; coffee in the morning and beverages in the evening. The restaurant across the street provided great views of Taylor Lake while eating dinner. But what was really cool was the easy clean up instructions; "don't make the bed". Don't have to tell me twice. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Really enjoyed our stay at your Taylor Lake home.

The Taylor House was perfect for us

We enjoyed the Taylor House more than we expected. The location was fantastic. The house was large and suited our needs and comfort. We appreciated the cleanliness!! We enjoyed the yard, yard games, picnic table and patio. Terri and Dennis were excellent communicators!! Thank you for sharing your treasure on Taylor lake with us!! We WILL be back!!

Perfect for family reunion

Grew up summering on the Chain O’ Lakes and now live in the Pacific Northwest. This property was perfect for a family reunion. Great location. Clean. As described. Don’t forget to explore the games in the garage, we didn’t realize what was inside until halfway thru our stay. Would stay here again.

Taylor House

Check-in and instructions were very well communicated. The owner replied promptly to any inquiries we had, and even suggested a wonderful restaurant for our anniversary dinner. The house was clean and had everything we needed and much more. It was very comfortable and much like being at home. Thanks again for a great weekend!

Spacious house for families to stay

The Taylor house I had plenty of room for family to enjoy them selves. It was clean and comfortable.they supply ping pong table/corn hole/ & large Jenga game.they also supply everything you need for a comfortable stay It was right across from Taylor lake the water is crystal clear

Family Christmas

With me and my boyfriend traveling from northern Wisconsin and my aunt Uncle and Cousin traveling from Illinois this was the perfect in-between spot. Dealing with the owners was seamless and lovely, we did have some bad weather but Dennis was there immediately to shovel and plow the drive and salt. The house was clean and lovely and all instructions were clear and precise and we had an amazing time can't wait to go back again in the summer this time!!

Excellent place!

The house was very nice and had everything we needed, which was very little. The water was very strong smelling, like iron. Difficult to get used to but I suppose there’s not much you can do about the water quality in the area. Overall, very satisfied!

We love the Waupaca area and fell in love with this house and location. While we are not directly on the water, we are so close to all the amenities that Taylor Lake offers. Clearwater Harbor Bar and Restaurant and Adventure Outfitters are both right across the road for cruising, boat & kayak rentals, great food & drink and live music! Fox Fire Golf, antique shopping and Hartman Creek State Park are close by too!
