Lakeside home on Spring River Lake

This home is located on beautiful Spring River Lake. Spend the day on the lake swimming, kayaking, fishing, and more. There are several hiking trails within five minutes. The ocean is 20 minutes away. Acadia National Park is 45 minutes away. This home is the perfect place to unplug and enjoy the outdoors.

As you walk in, you will be on the first-floor living/dining area with a full kitchen and futon. The deck overlooking the lake is perfect for sitting out with your morning coffee or enjoying a barbeque dinner. There is a loft upstairs with a daybed/trundle which sleeps three. Downstairs is the master bed/full bath with plenty of storage and a full-size washer/dryer. You can walk out of the downstairs door, past the firepit, and head down to the lake.

This property is not handicap accessible and has staircases. Management is next door in case you have questions.

Lovely cabin - loved the location

Loved this cabin, right on the lake with beautiful views. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Appreciated the use of the kayaks.

Short Stay at the Lake

Great, stay at this lakeside cabin had a great time and so did my dog! Jaime was very helpful in booking when VRBO had troubles. Would definitely visit again!

Wonderful lake house

We loved our stay at this property. Property was clean and well kept. Host is quick in responding. Highlight of our stay was the lake and the beautiful sunrise!

Family get away

The cabin was an amazing stay for our family. We fished off the dock and kayaked everyday. Our girls (ages 1&3) loved the property. The main living area was a wonderful set up and we loved the deck in the evenings . Accessibility to nearby hiking was also wonderful.

Beautiful & Relaxing

Beautiful and relaxing peaceful lake house and location. Enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the lake. Kids enjoyed kayaking and swimming. Only 45 minutes from Acadia National Park, which is a must see.

Wonderful stay

I love this property, the whole family had a terrific time. The house was nice with the accommodation to match. I recommend this property to anyone looking for a scenic waterfront property away from the complexities of the city. The caretakers went above and beyond to even check on us during a hot day.

Amazing lake house

Stayed here while we explored Acadia NP. We stayed busy visiting the park but wish we’d had more time to enjoy the house and lake. Very clean, well-stocked and amazing views. Also appreciated the access to kayaks. Highly recommend!

Just what we needed!

We had an amazing stay! The house was perfect and clean and we had everything we needed! The lake was beautiful and we enjoyed swimming and kayaking. The drive to Bar Harbor was scenic and we enjoyed two days there hiking some of our favorite trails! We hope to return again!! Thank You!!

Beautiful Views

Very nice home to stay but not recommended for children due to rooms upstairs and safety concern with stairs. Overall was gorgeous view and a bit far from our destination location

Maine vaca

We had a wonderful time. Did some kayaking. The Loons were awesome. The kids had a great time in the lake and did some fishing. So many stars and a big moon shining on the lake on our last night. Thanks so much.

It was just what we needed!!

This house and lake are absolutely gorgeous. It was so clean and inviting when we arrived. The home had everything our family could need. The deck was an extension of the house. Loved the covered deck in the back because it allowed us to still be outside on drizzly days. We LOVED the lake. So great for our dogs to play and swim in. It’s a beautiful lake to kayak in. It was nice that there were kayaks available so we didn’t have to bring our own. We were saying that this was one of our best vacations particularly since it allowed so much relaxation. Jaime was very responsive during the reserving process and leading up to our stay. Would rate more than 5 stars for every category if i could.

My family and I spent 4 nights at this lakeside property. The home was clean and cozy and provided all the basic amenities for a comfortable stay. The best part was the stunning lake view! We were able to sit down on the wrap around deck and enjoy the beauty of the lake and surroundings while sipping a cup of coffee or eating a meal and listening to the haunting call of the loons. The use of the kayaks and canoe really elevated the experience. The water is crystal clear and the lake was quiet for the most part. We did hear our neighbors next door, but everyone was very respectful of their noise level, and the lake was completely quiet at night. We enjoyed swimming and fishing right from the dock during the day, and sat on the dock for a little star gazing at night. Acadia National Park was an easy 45-50 minutes away, sometimes 60 minutes if traffic was heavy, so we were able to visit the park and surrounding area several times during our stay. Overall, I would highly recommend this place if you are looking to unwind and soak in all the natural beauty that Maine has to offer, and I can’t wait to come back!

Hidden gem

Dream house on the lake. My kids enjoyed the loft very much! The property has everything you will need so don't stress if you forget something. Super clean and I love the fact the property came stocked with kid friendly dinnerware.The property seems like it's isolated from everything but its not which is a big plus. The local grocers was a quick 10 min drive into quaint Cherryfield and there are so many free activities to do by this property. The lake was the biggest attraction with the 4 kayaks on the property. The family did the Tunk trailhead hike which is 2 minutes away from the property. We also explored McKellan Park in Millbridge which is about 20 minutes away. Honestly the property has so much to do like cornhole and the fire pit but we didn't get a chance to use them because of all the other things you can do by the property. Best rental ever especially if you want to stay away from touristy areas that are driving distance from Acadia. Our family definitely wants to come back next year!

My wife and I grabbed a spur of the moment vacation up to Maine last week and stayed at this lovely property on Spring River Lake. The house had everything we needed and was located in an ideal location. We spent a couple of days hanging out at the house, enjoying the quiet and paddling around in the kayaks that came with the house. But the house is also situated in an area that provides easy access to some of our favorite spots in the area. We were also happy to be able to bring our dog along for the week! It was a great week, due in no small part to this house and the service we got from the hosts. We hope to come back some day.

Property was as described on web site. Too bad prior renters ruined the cooking pots.Very quiet neighbor hood. Note to other renters, make sure you close up the umbrella, a pop up storm happened and the umbrella ended up across the lawn, luckily no harm was done. The lake was very nice, for humans and dogs. The dogs loved being able to swim all day. We would think about this cottage again. Barb and Dave, dogs JUDGE and Laser from Massachusetts July 2026.

Wonderful stay at Spring River Lake

The property was perfect. There were beautiful sunrises and sunsets, loons and fantastic nearby places to explore. Would definitely stay at this property again.

This is gem of a place!

Great location, right on lake (with Kayaks) and about 40 minutes from Acadia. Could not ask for a more beautiful setting for our stay.
