Right on the corner of 8th and North Downing, this home is close to town and a block to the beach. All linens are provided (please bring beach towels for beach use). The kitchen is fully furnished with dishes, microwave, toaster, coffee pot. The living room has a piano and fireplace. The dining room is just off the kitchen and living room. There is a TV with cable, VCR, stereo, alarm clock. Upstairs has a Queen bedroom, a 2nd Queen bedroom, and 2 bedrooms with a single twin in each. There is a futon on the sunporch as well. The downstairs bathroom has a tub only, no shower. The upstairs bath has a tub shower combo. There really isn't a back yard to this home. This home has parking for 2 cars only; NO PETS - NO SMOKING - MUST BE 25 TO RENT

It was a nice stay. Close enough to town and the beach and the aquarium to walk. The boardwalk is just a block away. Kids loved the aquarium. The kids bedrooms were small, but all we needed. The beds were comfortable. I would consider renting this place again.

Check-in was seamless. The house was so cute and a very short walk to the beach walking path, which led to the cute downtown main drag. The kitchen had everything we needed and there were comfortable places to gather and relax as a family.The beds were comfortable!

The location is great and the house is charming with its old architecture. Just a heads up that the only shower is downstairs, through the kitchen and living area near the front door. Also the two recliners should be replaced or removed, one is broken and completely lopsided, the other's handle is literally broken with only half the handle left and no cushion. Other than that it was as advertised!

Great place for multi-generational gathering.

Very nice and spacious. Works well for a large group of family or friends. Managing group very prompt and friendly.

Wanted to stay.

It was homey lots of room for all of us, we had 4 generations in the home all week end and we didn't want to leave .we will love to come back next year.🥰 Loved it, thanks so much for the place to be together.

Nice, comfortable and homey

The house is an older one, with lovely early farmhouse style charm. Kitchen was completely updated and had everything one could need (and more). The location was quiet, just blocks from the Prom, and seemed central to most everything. We all said we would love to stay here again. Thanks for sharing this home with us.

House was musty smelling and needed a repair for a bathtub handle. Lighting was a bit dim in some rooms. Other than that it was great.

On one hand, it was clean, the kitchen was adequate, and the location was quiet. However, the building is very old, and while updated over the years, its age is apparent. The twin bedrooms are minuscule and dark and the bathrooms are inadequate for handling a medium sized group. (Replace the toilets!) I objected to having dirty, used pillows—I felt they'd been put in the house after being deemed no longer acceptable for the original users. The furnishings consisted mostly of cast-offs, some probably purchased new in the 1950s. Summary: Okay for a short stay

Comfortable home but unusual rules from the property management company

This home is very comfortable and is literally only one block from the beach and promenade. The property management company has some very dated practices though; collect the keys from the office lockbox, start washing the sheets before you leave, return the keys to the office when you leave. These are all minor inconveniences but in over 10 years of renting properties like this we have only encountered a management company like this during this stay.

Fun northern Oregon Coast weekend with friends!The house is well located in Seaside about a block from the Prom and close to town.We had plenty of space and kitchen had everything we needed. We appreciated having a dedicated parking spot in the carport. Communciation with host was very responsive and helpful.Thank you for sharing your home with us! We hope to return soon!

It was a nice house to stay in. The 2 rooms with the twin beds were small, but for us it was nicer to have more rooms instead of big rooms, so the kids could each have their own. Close to the ocean. Close enough to center of town to walk there, but far enough away that it was quiet. We liked staying there.

Nice house close to the beach

Relaxing week staying at a short walk from the ocean. The bathrooms are pretty small but everything else was great including check in/out which was super easy.

Nasty! Not clean!

Carpet was gross and turned my kids’ feet black. Hair was left all over the shower walls. Bath and shower too nasty to even get into. Super outdated, gross and odd. Called multiple times to have no one call us back. Super disappointed!

Spacious House - Bring a fan

This is a older home with plenty of room. Easy/short walk to the beach. The upstairs rooms only had a few windows that opened so, without AC it got very warm. It would have been nice to have fans in all the rooms to help move the air around. Other than that, it worked fine for our family of 4.

Wonderful stay!

We love this house! Close to the beach. Kitchen had everything we needed. Great seating. Plenty of room. It was clean. I will definitely try to get this house again next year. Check in process was super easy. Very satisfied!
