Mountain Chalet, Close to Downtown, Dog Friendly

The Interlaken Chalet is charming and well-appointed. Guests will love being tucked away in the trees with such close proximity to downtown Asheville!

This vacation ready rental has a fully-stocked kitchen with appliances, pots and pans, dishes, coffee, soaps and paper products. We provide linens, towels and blankets.

This home has Wi-Fi, Cable TV with Roku in the living room, Roku only in the bedrooms, gas fireplace. The 2 bedrooms are tastefully decorated.

Only an average $10 Uber/Lift ride downtown.

There is parking for two cars next to the Chalet.

Two dogs are allowed. Please click that you have a pet, this will add the $30 pet fee. Also let the host know you will be bringing a pet and the breed and size.

The home will be all yours for the duration of the rental period.

This is a well maintained rustic cabin. See the pictures.

Disclosure: There are surveillance cameras outside on the front of the building. NO cameras are inside the cabin!

Great Place

This was an excellent place to stay and had a nice view of the mountains. It was very close to restaurants and stores. The property was very clean and welcoming.

Holiday visit

We stayed as a family of four with a dog for 4 nights. Highly recommend arriving during the day, as the home is located in an unusual situation. Lovely views and the cottage is clean & comfortable. It’s very quiet and we enjoyed feeling like we were away from it all but having downtown Asheville and Biltmore a quick drive from us.

Interlaken

Nice property with good location to town. Met needs for our stay. Good communication by owner. Driveway to property is very windy and tight in spots especially for SUVs and is shared with other properties thus a tight fit at times with sharing right of way. Overall nice stay & property

Nice little cabin in woods

Very quiet comfortable 2-bedroom cabin with great view. The place had everything we needed and was dog friendly. The winding uphill road was the least favorite but for a fews days it was okay.

The chalet is very well furnished and immaculate. We appreciated having coffee beans in the refrigerator since we traveled a distance and didn’t want to shop the night we got in.

Grandmother/granddaughter trip

We had a wonderful stay in Asheville. Interlaken Chalet is in an adorable neighborhood close to downtown and many attractions we went to see. It was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed.

Quiet and close to town

This place was so close to down town but made you feel nice an secluded, with more amenities then a hotel as well as less expensive. Would definitely stay again!

Very Nice Place to Stay

We liked the place so much we were sorry to have to leave. Everything was clean, instructions were clear and communication with the host quick and easy. A very unique property, almost like a tree house. I have no hesitation in recommending this place to anyone.

Nice little property in the hills

My friends and I enjoyed staying here. It's up in the hills so its nice and quite but still a short drive into town. The property is well maintained and clean. Everything was great.

Great weekend get away

We were in for a 60th birthday celebration with another couple. Property was nestled in the hills for perfect morning and evening views. Location was close to everything. Beds were comfortable, super clean and host left coffee. A nice touch! Overall a great place to stay!

Clean, cute and close to everything!

We had such a wonderful stay at Interlaken. Super close to everything but also quiet and tranquil. The cottage was spotless and the bed was comfortable. We really appreciated being able to bring our pup. We will definitely be back.

I was born & raised in Wisconsin. I moved to South Carolina in the summer of 2006 and became a Realtor. We purchased the Chalet in 2015 and love to escape to the mountains whenever possible.

We love city of Asheville and the location of the Chalet. Feels like you are deep in the woods but actually are only a few minutes from Downtown and all Asheville has to offer.
