Sea Spray Beach House on the Ocean in South Ponte Vedra

Beautiful house in South Ponte Vedra! Gorgeous views of both the Atlantic Ocean and Guana State Preserve. You will love being able to leave your private balcony and stroll immediately onto the beach. It is hard to beat having nothing between you and the ocean!
Enjoy one of the best ocean and beach views from practically the entire house. Enjoy cooking with a view of the ocean from this fully equipped kitchen. You will also enjoy listening to music on the stereo from your oceanfront deck.
Enjoy views of the ocean from the kitchen, family room, dining room and master bedroom. The other rooms have a great view of Guana Preserve.
One queen bed master, a guest room with two queen beds, and a private den with a pull-out sofa offers plenty of comfortable sleeping for up to 8 guests. There is a full bath with a shower that offers access directly to the deck and down to the beach.
There is a deck that runs the length of the ocean side of the house that gives you great views, a place to eat al fresco, and direct access to the beach. At the bottom of the walkway, at beach level, there is an incredible large gazebo so you can sit and enjoy the beach in the shade! It is a great spot to enjoy the ocean breezes!
South Ponte Vedra Beach is a very quiet beach that runs parallel to Guana State Preserve to Vilano Beach, and then on to St. Augustine.
St. Augustine is a quaint, historic old city that provides wonderful shopping, dining and touring. Castillo de San Marcos - the fort, Alligator Farm, and Lighthouse are worth a visit and we recommend the trolley tour of the old city.
If you are golfers, TPC Sawgrass is about 15 minutes north, and World Golf Village is only about a 25 minute drive.
Fishing charters are plentiful, whether you prefer inshore or offshore.
Spend the day paddle boarding, surfing, looking for sharks teeth, swimming, surf-fishing, boogie boarding, or just hang - this is the place to visit!
No cars are allowed on this part of the beach, and the only people around will be from other houses nearby.

We absolutely loved the Sea Spray Beach House! The location is exactly what we were looking for - quiet, calm, and scenic. The house had everything we needed and was well laid out. We'll definitely be back!

We were very impressed with this property. Sea Spray had everything we needed and plenty of space for the family to enjoy time together. I loved the extra details and care that was taken to ensure we had a wonderful time. Beach chairs, umbrellas, amble seating on the deck, and even recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. We will definitely choose this home again the next time we visit the area.

Awesome property. The only problem we had is we wanted to use the grill and it literally crumbled when we tried to take the cover off. We called the person that was listed in the book and left a message and never got a return call. Other than that the property is awesome just as described and if I decide to come back to FL I would definitely book it again.

Great beach getaway

We had an amazing week at Sea Spray Beach House. We love the location, the house is nicely renovated and it has a great deck and cabana area overlooking the beach. It worked great for our family of four, and we hope to make it back soon!

We need a vacation from our vacation. The house produces a loud fog horn sound when there’s wind (the entire time we were there, 6 days). Along with the noise from speeding cars and trucks on the road right outside 2 bedroom windows (nearly all night long) made for very tired and cranky people. Who ever was responsible for cleaning and maintaining this property for rentals was obviously absent. Several minor annoyances; filthy-smoking oven, empty soda cans in drawers, broken stove handles, broken shower head, leaking door frame, leaking bar sink, used bed linens left in the closet and more all added up to a very disappointing stay! We def won’t be back to Sea Spray BH.

Beautiful property! Enjoyed long days in the sun and beautiful evenings on the large deck. Gazebo was wonderful for the short rain showers.

Amazing

One of my favorite stays of all time. Loved the location, super clean and comfortable. Only negative is driveway but all houses in this area have the same problem - it pulls straight out onto A1A with a 50MPH speed limit - we find it was best to pull over in front of house then back in when there was a break in traffic - never try to back out! All around amazing stay and would love to go back

Horrible experience with this property and property manager. Home was left uncleaned, roach found within the refrigerator, bugs found FROZEN within the freezer, clear it’s been there for a while. TV was broken in the master to the point it turned on where you could hear it but only a black screen displayed. Shower cleaning scrub left in the area where our soap and shampoo was expected to be used. The explanation given for why the property was left in poor condition was non-existent. Would recommend you not stay here! Plenty of other properties in much better condition.

My husband and I had a wonderful time and the house is very nice and well stocked. There wasn't one thing we needed (other than groceries) that wasn't supplied. Even the started supply of paper products and dish soap/detergent lasted the whole trip. It is a little difficult getting in and out of the driveway but it's doable. Would consider staying here again if we're ever back in the area.

Fun family vacation

We will definitely be staying here again, we loved it so much! So fun to wake up and just walk out to the beach! Parking is tights so make sure you communicate with the owner regarding parking, and people drive fast on that road! Looks like they are still working on the railing as part of the stair railing wasn’t complete, so just watch the little kids when they go down the stairs, but looks like it’s still in progress. Overall a great stay and would highly recommend!

Exactly as hoped

Perfect location and exactly as I had hoped. Four friends reconnecting and feeling the healing power of the sunrises and the ocean air. Two daughters were able to join us our last day and night which was lovely. Went to aunt Kate’s for lunch on Friday and beat the rush and had a very nice meal with a super sweet waitress. This home lacks nothing. Fully stocked kitchen, an extra refrigerator if needed for a longer stay, plenty of bath and kitchen towels, beach, chairs, beach towels,.Cute ocean and seaside decor everywhere. Plenty of seating on the porch with the attached covered sitting area and faucet/shower at the bottom of the stairs. Just a short walk to the beach was perfect. The weather was perfect. Would loved to stay for many more days if time, obligations, and money would have allowed. If I had to report anything unpleasant it would be the pesky knats or “no see ums” our time on the porch would be at short intervals because of that, certainly not a dealbreaker. Would definitely consider this home again.

Nice Getaway

A nice, spacious home with most of the necessaries for a weekend getaway. But if you are staying longer bring paper products, a sponge, storage containers for food; there wasn't enough paper towels or toilet paper and only 1/2 of the stovetop worked. Be careful of splinters on the porch too. I ended up having to remove several.

It was so hard to leave

This is a perfect beach house! We walked out to the beach right in front of the house every day. There was a cabana out front where the beach toys and chairs are kept and they were so easy to put away at the end of the day. There were sea turtle nests that hatched right in ftont of the house during our stay. We also saw lots of dolphin. The beach was never crowded. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had plenty of cooking supplies for us to cook dinners at home. The house was also well stocked with towels and starter toiletries and supplies. We loved dinner at Caps on the water and a day trip to St. Augustine. There are lots of great activities there. We went paddleboarding, visited the alligator farm and played miniature golf. We will be back!

Beach Home

Beach is beautiful and not crowded. I would not stay in this VRBO again because it is right on a busy and dangerous highway. Also, the driveway is very small and you can't see it from the road. My children are older (15 & 18) and I was still terrified they would get hit by a car when we were in the driveway getting ready to leave and coming home. At night, you can hear the cars racing by. It is such a hazard trying to leave the driveway as well because you can't see past the plants and trees to see if there is an opening in the traffic for you to pull out of the driveway. The speed limit was 55 (I think) but the cars are driving much faster than that. Also, the master bath was full of mildew. The home overall was clean but it looked as if the master bath hadn't been cleaned in months. The beach was beautiful but I had a hard time relaxing with the highway and thinking our dog who we brought with us would be hit by a car for sure if he got out by accident.

This property was well appointed, and worked perfectly for 5 adults. We like a property that is all on one living level, and this property is just that. We have stayed at PV Beach 11 times in the past 17 years, and this property is definitely one of the best that we have experienced! The property manager was responsive and complete with any requests or clarifications we needed.We would definitely stay here again!

Great beach house!

We had a fantastic time staying at Sea Spray Beach House! It has everything you need for your stay. Gorgeous sunrises on the beach and sunsets on the marsh. Highly recommend this property.

Great Beach House!

This is the second time we stayed at this house. We love the location, the beach was very private, and the house had everything we needed. We would stay again for sure!
