Hammock Dunes I - Private Cottage Beach Side

This 2-bedroom 3-bathroom home is located just steps away from the white sand beaches. The property is pet friendly and includes beach access and a gulf side neighborhood pool. There is covered parking underneath the home and the beach access is just a couple hundred feet from the home. The interior of the home boasts granite countertops and ceramic plank tile floors throughout, fully equipped kitchen, stainless steel appliances, laundry room, and sleeps up to 8 guests. The master bedroom features a private master bathroom and has a king bed. The guest bedroom is equipped with 2 King beds and also has a private bathroom. We have provided a sleeper sofa in the living room for additional guests and there is a 3rd full bathroom on the main floor. Your pets are welcome to join you for a pet fee of $300. Maximum of 2 pets and there is a weight limit of 35 lbs, none shedding only. Must be 25+ to rent.

Perfect location!!!

This property is everything it describes and more!! Absolutely perfect location, it might be ocean view but the walk to beach is shorter than any walk we have had staying in a condo. There were no crowds on our area of the beach either. We traveled with our 6 month old and 2 dogs so it being pet friendly was a huge plus! The stairs are steep but I just add that as a positive as we all got a good workout. The hosts were amazing and always quick to respond. We had a absolutely amazing first family vacation and would definitely stay here again!

Over all good but came home with lice

All 3 of our kids came home with lice guessing it was in the 2nd bedroom with the 2 king beds. While we were there stay was good minus dryer not really working. Location good. Close to beach. Coming home with lice was definitely not fun. Been an ordeal still dealing with.

Amazing getaway!

This place was hands down the nicest, cleanest place we have stayed at in OBA!! Pet friendly was a plus for us!! Great beds, short walk to beach- beach wasn’t crowded. Will most definitely be staying here, again!

Wonderfully clean. Easy access. Proximity to everything was great! Host was available and prompt with all responses! We loved it !!!

Cozy space

We enjoyed our stay, decor was beautiful, beds were comfortable, we had plenty of towels. However the cookware was scratched, knife set was ruined, patio furniture was old and dry rotting, tv in second bdrm wasn’t working, towelrack in master bathroom was loose. We would absolutely book a stay here again.

Wonderful little home!

We took our daughter for a long weekend, and it was the perfect getaway. Location was close to everything. She loved the pool. The beach was short walk away, and the portion Hammock Dunes gets to enjoy was so quiet and not many people at all in the middle of summer! We loved our vacation and highly recommend this Vrbo.

Property as Listed.

Easy access to beach and pool and property was as listed. Nice setup with bedrooms upstairs. Closet on carport with beach chairs, sand toys, floats, boogie boards was a very nice find. Wish we had known this for we could have saved on packing. Only requests would be to have more kitchen towels (there was only 1) and measuring spoons. AC worked great and we used the charcoal grill.

Great Cottage/Location

Loved the beautiful cottage, plenty of room for our family of 4 and 2 small dogs. The location to the beach and local attractions was perfect. Loved the convenient parking and outside storage area. The cleaning service is doing a disservice, as floors and bathroom sinks were dirty when we arrived. FYI- Bring your own trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher soap and cleaner, as not much is provided. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect stay

This place was new, clean, convenient, laid out well, stocked well. Super easy access to beach. Nice pool. Not a crowded area. Probably my favorite Orange beach experience.

Perfect getaway!!

Husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Property was beautiful, and was close to everything. Enjoyed private beach access and lake Shelby was great too. Our pups loved the dog park there. Would love to stay again.

Away from the condos and the rush. On the beach, but no beach view. All new. Would stay there again. Don’t forget a hairdryer...

Orange Beach Wedding Visit

My wife and I rented this home for our wedding weekend in Orange Beach and we could not have been happier with our choice. We will definitely be looking to re-book this particular home for future stays.

Thanksgiving week

I felt the cottage listing was a little deceiving.. I thought we would be right on the beach where we could enjoy the water view from our balcony. But we were not.. Other than that the cottage was lovely, very nicely decorated & comfortable.. I’ll be back to Orange Beach but will look for a cottage directly on the water.
