We had a wonderful stay. The listing was accurate, and the home was a perfect fit for our family with younger children. The direct beach access was especially convenient and made it easy to go back and forth throughout the day. Check-in and check-out were both simple and handled entirely remotely, which made the whole experience very smooth. We would definitely stay here again!

What is shown on the pictures for you to book the stay is not what you get it looks a lot different when you get there, also some of the plugs downstairs didn’t work, the stove takes a min to get going when you cook. The view was decent, the outside plug on the back deck didn’t work as well, when it rains you can’t sit outside the front or back deck 5/10 wouldn’t recommend

Excellent check-in process. Parking good. Location to shopping and activities excellent.Views and access to beach outstanding. Cleanliness was adequate. Place is renovated but can still tell the age of building. Kitchen and bathrooms were adequately clean but could tell it was rushed. Found sand in bed sheets we slept in. Wi-Fi was glitchy the entire time we were there. Couldn’t watch the Alabama game without it buffering. I am not sure if that is normal for what you’re paying for internet. Overall, family enjoyed the stay and I would definitely return but be prepared for those few inconveniences.

The internet didn’t work for 3 days and after multiple calls the provider came and the power cord for the router was missing. The house was clean at first appearance but the couch was covered with sand and a lot of dust and hair under furniture. Living room furniture not at all comfortable. Ocean view and closeness to beach and activities was perfect. Brett-Robinson was great to work with

Great view of the beach. In a land of high rises it was nice to have our own private beach access and view. The house was clean and everything was in working order. I would recommend this property.

All in all, the place was fantastic. My only complaint was the deck beach umbrella was broken and wasn't replaced during our stay. The road to the house could also be better marked.

Perfect condo for our stay

The condo seems very up to date with like new everything. Walk dow the deck steps and it’s 50 yards across the sand to the water’s edge. We loved it.

Fun family vacation

This property was perfect for our family of 8. Plenty of room , short walk out to the beach. Our only problems was with check in process. I was getting text wtih wrong check in instructions, this took us about an extra 2 hours to get settled, property host realtor didn't really care. Besides that the property was excellent!

Excellent Stay at Pelican House 1

Prior to our visit I had read reviews about bad check in processes. This was not the case for us. Check in was easy. We had someone contact us to make sure we knew when and where to check in and even had someone to contact us and let us know our unit was available early for an earlier check in. Everything was clean and up to date, and exactly as listed. Check out was just as simple. I would love to stay in the same unit again but even if it isn't available, we will use Brett-Robinson for our next stay.

From the very first hint of renting from Brett/ Robinson to arrival was a real pleasure. Every question I asked, worry I had, was solved quickly and with grace. Thank you for all the support. We had Unit #1 with a group of 5...this townhouse was the perfect size. 3 bedroom 2 full baths and 1 sorta powder bathroom. The location is beyond exceptional. The beach is mere steps from our porch. Great unobstructed view from home. It's located near anything you need...food, clothes, etc.Very well stocked kitchen with all the utensils you need to prepare a meal. All you need to provided is the food and seasonings.They provide a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels etc. But need to bring dish soap, laundry soap, trash bags, beach towels, beach equipment, personal bath items. Please do not take bath towels out side All beds are quality mattresses and good quality linens. Bath towels good quality. Home is in awesome shape. Outdoor patio furniture is in great shape. Downstairs bathroom is tight...us fluffy body people are a tight fit :) Upstairs bathroom is a bit larger. Powder room is spacious with two sinks. Plenty of towels provided for indoor bathing only. Please follow the few house rules and your stay will be an even better experience. Neighbors are quiet and semi-private beach is awesome. Just remember to share the spaces. Parking is part of rental, right in front of unit. Please be sure to share the space. Just be courteous. Drive slowly thru the homes as there are p

I’d like to start this review with how perfectly located the location is. It’s tucked back behind a few complexes/other residences so the street is quiet but completely accessible to the main road. You can’t beat being directly on the beach. Just one set of stairs down from the deck and you’re on the sand. The beach isn’t crowded at all as bigger complexes are not immediately adjacent to this property. The property was a good size for 4 adults and 2 children. There is very limited necessities provided which is fine, but I didn’t think to bring coffee filters with my coffee so paper towels had to do. Small stuff like that but not the end of the world. Our biggest complaint was the master. The upstairs in general definitely did not cool off that great. The property directions ask you not to drop the AC below 70 because it will freeze up. It probably would have been ok but we were unable to use the fan in the master bedroom because it was extremely loud. Sounded like metal scraping against metal. We had 4 people sleeping in the master so needless to say we were all pretty warm up there and it was a decent inconvenience to not be able to use the fan. Owners should really look at changing the fan. Despite that, I would still stay here again. I loved the location and it was very clean and away from large condominiums.

First Orange Beach Trip

We’ve been to Destin, Clearwater, and other beach vacations. We loved the smaller city area and crowds. The house was as advertised and maybe 75 to 100 yards to the water. 5 minutes or less car ride to anything you need. Great experience. Thank you.

Pelican House stay.

We were very pleased with the Pelican House. We had everything we needed. Our only problem was the umbrella on the deck. It wouldn’t stay fastened and needs replacing.

relaxing visit....once we got there

There are no complaints about the property or accommodations. It's a little uncomfortable to be on the back deck the same time as other visitors since you are right on top of each other, but it is a popular place, so I get it. My issue was with the check in process. I never got an email or phone call about check in so I went to the townhome upon arriving only to find out I had to drive down packed, busy streets several miles back up the road just to check in. Had I known that beforehand, I could have saved lots of time and stress. It was already a 5 hour trip, then to have to backtrack for half an hour or 45 minutes was frustrating to say the least. That whole process could definitely be handled better.
