Over 6 miles of beaches, and has the second longest fishing pier on the Atlantic Ocean. Located at the center of town the pier which extends 1,045 ft into the ocean, hosts fishing tournaments and if you want to fish, you can rent everything you need at the shop on the pier. You can eat lunch or dinner at the restaurant (Pier 101) located on the Folly Beach Pier.

Your accommodations at “The Boat House” are located 50ft from the best beach walk on Folly Beach. There are no steps on the beach walk-making it easy to take all your beach toys, chairs and umbrellas.

You can walk everywhere or rent a golf cart. Take the golf cart to the Charleston County Park at the east end of the island. Then it is a short walk to one of the most pristine beaches on the east coast with views of the Historic Morris Island Lighthouse.
Spend an evening out in historic downtown Charleston only 11 miles from Folly Beach. Walk and visit the shops and dine in some of the best restaurants in the World.

Go to the seashore in the morning come back and clean off in the hot and cold outdoor shower for lunch or just a break from the sun, and then a nap on the private outdoor porch-enjoying the fresh outdoor breezes among the oak trees that surround the decks.


“The Boathouse” is a short 3 block walk to the Downtown and fishing pier. Walk the town with its night action in the shops, bars, restaurants, and ample live music. Enjoy the shopping, coffee shops, surf shops, and dining at the local favorites like the Lost Dog Café, Taco Boy, Ritas, The Tides, Loggerhead, and Pier 101.

You will enter your accommodations up to a private porch that wraps around the entire floor. The living area is very spacious and includes the dining, kitchen, and living room. The area is totally enclosed with 10 windows and 2 sets of French doors, to allow the maximum of light and sea air. The kitchen is totally equipped with everything you will need to cook a great meal. The living area opens up to a private side porch totally surrounded by oak trees. Relaxing here is like being in an open green house with the sea breezes and the ocean roaring.

The master bedroom has one king bed and a single bed. The bathroom has a shower and corian top vanity. High grade sheets, towels and linens are provided.
