We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was sparkling clean, the host was incredibly responsive, and the location was perfect walking distance to family friendly restaurants and park. Highly recommend this spot!

Amazing location in Hilton head. 1/2 a block from the beach and a short walk to restaurants and shops. One of the best experiences we’ve had renting on Vrbo.

Upon checking into the property, we noticed early on that several items were already broken, including the toilet paper holder and a cabinet door. As we settled in, we discovered additional issues that significantly affected the comfort and quality of our stay.The most concerning issue was the toilet. By Friday evening, the toilet bowl was filled with water nearly to the top and remained that way throughout Friday night and for most of Saturday. Although the photo shows that the water eventually went down, we were unable to properly use that bathroom for a significant portion of our stay, leaving our family limited to only one functioning bathroom.Unfortunately, cleanliness was also a major concern. There was food underneath the living room bed, and we found dried red food or another substance on the bed linens that we attempted to scrub off ourselves. My children were uncomfortable sleeping in the beds because they did not feel that the sleeping areas were sanitary.Additionally, the refrigerator did not cool or freeze properly. We purchased ice cream that would not freeze and ultimately had to return it because the freezer was not functioning as it should.What made the experience even more disappointing was the owner's response when these concerns were shared. Rather than acknowledging the problems and the inconvenience they caused, the response felt very dismissive. These were not minor cosmetic complaints. The review almost sounds legitimate except what actually happened was the renter sent a picture of 4 Cheerios she found underneath the middle of the sofa bed to which I replied I apologize that the cleaning company missed the Cheerios and I would remind them to check underneath the sofa when cleaning. Additionally, upon inspection there were no plumbing issues or refrigeration/freezer issues. The toilet paper holder was not broken and as most people know, they are fasten with a set screw and they knocked it off which was easily put back on. The cabinet door which is on order is that a small piece of the laminate coming off the corner of the cabinet door was the issue. Grossly misleading and exaggerated review. Anyone who has stayed here can attest to that.

Great property for a girls trip. Easy walk to the beach. Difficulty finding pool access at sea crest and limited hours was a bummer.

Perfect for our family!

We loved our stay in Hilton Head! The location of this villa could not be more perfect, especially with a young family. Very short walk to the beach, all the shops and dining. We had everything we needed in the unit. Washer and dryer came in so handy on our week long stay. The unit was super clean and owner, Jim was incredibly helpful and responsive. We would 100% stay again!

Review of North Shore Place:

The place was as described and we enjoyed our stay very much. Everything you need is just a few steps away. There were a few housekeeping issues that I brought to the owners attention. Also, the check in process and the use of Sea Crest facilities were difficult to navigate until we received additional information. We had a fantastic time!

Clean, Comfortable, and Contemporary

Fantastic trip! We loved the upgrades to the unit- fresh and bright, well appointed and you can’t beat the location. Short walk to the beach and across the street from Coligny. The owner, Jim, was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning!

Good spot

This is a great location and a clean comfortable condo for 4 adults. I would suggest a new box spring under the queen bed. Extremely loud getting in and out of bed. We had a great stay!!

Great location and beautiful decor

Our stay was pleasant at this property, and we'd consider it again. However, it seems that the cleaning might be rushed between stays. There weren't any facial tissues, the master bedroom floors were slippery (perhaps a cleaner that wasn't suitable for the floor type), and some areas were quite dusty. I'd recommend a deeper cleaning, but overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Spectacular!

Cleanest place we have stayed in a long time. Convenient location and the host was overly accommodating and responsive when we were frantically looking for a school book bag and computer that was left behind after our stay. Only issue is the code to get in the parking garage and elevator was wrong. We had to get the right code from someone else staying there.
