Recently remodeled 4 bedroom 2 bath home only minutes away from Crystal Mountain and within a few hundred feet of the snowmobile trails. There is a 65” flat screen smart tv, air hockey table and a pool table in the common area, a 50" flat screen smart tv in the master bedroom, and 32" flat screen smart tvs in the other 3 bedrooms. The property features a large yard featuring a hot tub and a fire pit in the back for guests to enjoy. The home is also within walking distance to Geno's Bar and Grill and Archers Convenience Store.

Fall break getaway

The flooring and cabinets appeared new. There were some water stains in places. The air hockey table in the pictures was not there. But our family enjoyed the pool table and video game. The dumpster had a horrible odor (apparently the last guests were fishermen and left items in the dumpster).

Trip to the dunes and traverse.

The place was clean and functional. We spent little time at the rental place, but overall it was functional. The main bathroom door lock wasn't working properly, but we didn't mind too much, just had to let the other's know if you were using it. It was located near to the area we were exploring. (About 30- 40 mins south of traverse/sleeping bear dunes) My only complaint would be how sandy the kitchen was. But it must be how the soil is around that part of the state. So you just have to sweep a few times from the door way to the kitchen.

Smelled like something died in there. Only a couple windows had screens. The rest didn't have screens or didn't open. Couldn't contact the property manager. I was not getting the security code from Vrbo and I had no other contact info.

Weekend Trip

My friends and I had a great stay here! Everything was exactly as described in the listing. We really enjoyed the pool table, air hockey, and hot tub. The best part was the close proximity to Crystal Mountain - it was just a short 5 minute drive. Would definitely return if we ever ski there again!

Worst VRBO experience!! Complete bait and switch!!

Property was terrible, holes in walls, all blinds broken, hot tub not usable (nasty stuff floating in it), all games listed for game room were broken or missing. Address was different than listed on VRBO and owner sent correct address 30 minutes before check in. Grass had not been mowed in weeks and weeds as tall as my kids. When messaged owner about missing and broken things and listing not up to standards he did not respond for 24 hours and it was almost like an automated response. I e we’re forced to sleep here one night due to being late and 8.5 hours away from home. We got up next morning and drove home! DO NOT STAY HERE!! Owner will not answer and neither will VRBO, now we have to try and get money back from bank.

Ski trip

Wonderful property for the whole family. We enjoyed all the amenities, esp. the hot tub. The location to Crystal mountain is great. Over all we had a blast. One request would be for a grill but owner has one for summer use.

Great weekend Getaway!

Our rental was clean and ready a little early. Jacob was quick to respond with any questions we had and was very friendly. The house itself was great. The pool table and the air hockey table were a great source of entertainment, as well as the hot tub. Our only concern is that we had planned to make a big breakfast for the 8 of us staying there, but there was only one frying pan. We made do, though and made the best of it. The beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. Thanks again, Jacob. The 8 of us have been friends for 20+ years and we get together one weekend a year for some adult time and your place certainly was worth it!!

great place for a quiet getaway

The first thing that struck us when we first arrived was how clean everything was. The next thing was how spacious it was. There was plenty of room for everybody to gather together. Or, if there was need for some private time,. there were plenty of opportunities to do that. My teenage daughter loved the air hockey game. The pool table was entertaining too. The neighborhood was super quiet. The place was very convenient for us to visit Dunes National Lakeshore. The hot tub was very welcomed, especially after a day full of hiking and dune climbing.Also, the beds were very comfortable, letting us all have a nice relaxing sleep. Overall, a great place for a quiet getaway.

Warm Tub at best & poor maintenance

Easy to check in. Damage from previous renter still present. Holes in wall, broken chair seat, loose cable plates hanging from wall, door jams loose, dents in doors from punches. Damage to air hockey table keeps puck from gliding smoothly. Felt tip missing from cue stick. Michigan winter will never allow the "hot tub" to get hot as it is run on 110volts not 220volts. Temp got to 30 outside and the tub could not keep up. We covered it all day Sat and checked it after 9 pm and it was at 98. Exploring a foul smell found 2 lg vomit mounds from the previous renter along with used charcoal grill contents 3' from hot tub and 2' from the drive way. Husband removed with shovel. Ice on walk way, almost fell a couple times. 1 roll of tp, no hair dryer, not enough chairs for 10 pl. or plates/cups. No stopper 4 tub. Random internet issues, investigation uncovered burnt melted outlet. Property Manager PM was difficult to replace, making me feel bad he had to drag his 3 yr to HD on a Sat afternoon to replace outlet. From conversations with PM and evidence of previous troubleshooting, ie extra power strip sitting on stand where router was sitting along with only lamp in the entire living room. No other area where there was a power strip, was there an extra one sitting near by as backup. States communication break down was a misunderstand. However, while explaining the issue over the phone; he tries to interrupt me - I intercept & ask if I can explain. As I am explaining and reaching the plug investigating the issue seeing if it would recreate itself or if it was resolved (He was stating that if he came out to the property and there was only a simple issue of plugging the cord back into the outlet because the couch bumped it out, there would be a sticky point that he didn't elaborate on.) As I am grabbing the plug I can feel an issue and am expressing this as I am experiencing it and all of a sudden the phone call ends. There is no time stamps on the messages in the app, however there was over an hour between that phone call & when I sent pic proof via text of the outlet melted and burnt thus the reason for the issue. Still 2hr till update, 3 hr till repair. Before looking behind the outlet cover it felt loose and like there maybe issue with wiring, idk. Moved plug, checked fire alarms, all worked then. Decided to stay. Frustrated had to escalate to extreme to get resolution to a problem previously ignored and made to feel like I was the issue.

Nice place to stay.

Place was very close to Crystal Mountain which made it very convenient to run back and forth from the mountain. Only note is that the coffee maker only uses K cups. We brought grounds and had to run out for some K cups.
