Tami and Greg are outstanding hosts. We have been to their cabin the last four years and keep returning because of the atmosphere and relaxation. Tami and Greg took the time to introduce themselves and are very responsive to questions and/or needs. The cabin is fully equipped with necessities and is very clean and well maintained.

If you're planning a trip to Gettysburg, and want to add a unique and authentic twist to your stay....look no further. The owners are top notch friendly, and the cabin is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of downtown (even though it's only minutes from everything you'd want to see in Gettysburg). My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and feel that this peaceful and cozy cabin is what made our 10th anniversary vacation so memorable. HIGHLY recommend to anyone!!!

What a great stay at the creekside cabin. True historic experience in a civil-war era cabin. Our little one loved the abundant deer and other critters to marvel at. Can't wait to come back!

The cabin was clean, well stocked, and even had a few extras in case you forgot to pack them! The property itself was georgous! We saw wild turkey and deer each morning we were there! It's in a great location so you can hit all the go to spots and still be within a few minutes drive back to the cabin!!!! We would definitely recommend this place to stay!!!

Prolly the nicest couple ive met in awhile. Talked with both of the property owners while there. Both lovely people. Had to leave a day early due to unfortunate circumstances and they were willing to give back that nights rate, which I thought was very nice of them but I didnt feel right taking it as they coulda booked the cabin to someone else that night. They have another cabin on site and I will be back to check that one out.

This was a great cabin in a perfect place! The area is like being in the middle of a beautiful forest with deer and a cute bunny visiting every day. We felt totally safe in this environment of complete peace, quiet and serenity! Our hosts, Greg and Tami, were wonderful, friendly and attentive people. The people who live in this area all have beautiful, clean, well maintained homes. The cabin is extremely clean and the fact that it was built so long ago gave us the feeling of what it was like to live during the late 1800's (with updated amenities, of course)!Anyone who wants to get away from it all for a while won't be disappointed!!!

I rented the cabin for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. We were right in Gettysburg. Even with all there is to do it was hard to leave the cabin, so cozy and comfortable. Being right on the creek is great. The host greeted us and they were aavaliable if we needed them. We will definitely be back.

Pros-The bathrooms were clean, kitchen was stocked, the area was quiet. We enjoyed having more room than a hotel. Cons-The upstairs was a little hot at night and the ac units didn't seem to keep up. The bed linens/blankets need an update. Tami and Greg were very friendly and helpful.

Thank you for the review. I wish you would have contacted me about the air conditioning while you were staying at the cabin. We would have addressed your concern on the spot. As far as the bed linens are concerned, they are exchanged after every guests stay and replaced on a regular basis. There design is in keeping with the cabin feel. Please let me know which room you found lacking. I take pride in making ALL my guests have a pleasant stay. Thank you.

We enjoyed our stay at the Creekside Cabin! We came here for our cousin’s weekend, and could not have been more impressed with the property. It was so cute and cozy, had great amenities, and was in a peaceful, quiet area (while still being close to all the great Gettysburg spots). Tami and Greg are wonderful hosts! The only downside is that we didn’t book a longer stay, but we will definitely be back!

This is a great get-away cabin. Lots of wildlife. The turkeys were gobbling, there were ducks and geese on the river just below the cabin. You're just a short drive into all the historic places to visit in Gettysburg and to tour the many battlefields. You will never find more accommodating and friendly owners.

A perfect getaway for our anniversary! Greg and Tami are wonderful hosts but even better people! Everything in the cabin was just as promised ..peaceful, well stocked, warm and inviting. The gas fireplace was a favorite even with the warm weather. If only we could have stayed longer! We will be back for sure!!!

We loved our stay at Creekside Cabin. The hosts, Tami and Greg, are very welcoming and worked hard to ensure we could pass the driveway after a snowy few weeks. The cabin itself is comfortable, warm, clean and cozy - and so very evocative of the local area!

We love this cabin. It's the second time we've stayed here. Tami and Greg are wonderful. They're very hospitable and always accessible if needed. The cabin is the perfect combination of rustic and convenient. Everything is clean and in working order. I love the first floor with the wood ceiling and log beams, wood and mortar walls, and wood floors. The kitchen is great. Everything is in reach. Plenty of space for food prep. Just note that besides bringing your own groceries, bring plastic wrap/ ziplock bags for food storage. If you like vintage appliances like I do, you'll love the washer and dryer located right off the screened in porch. The porch faces the woods and Marsh Creek and has storm windows that can be removed to let fresh air in. We've only been here in late summer so didn't need heat or use the fireplace but the air conditioners keep it cool. This location is perfect. Take Rt 116 to downtown Gettysburg in 10 minutes. Take a right on Black Horse Tavern Road and you're on the battlefield in 10 minutes. There's plenty of wildlife in the area, mostly deer. We had hoped to see Bigfoot (LOL), or at least a bear but so far, no luck. On a more serious note, my family member has autism and sensory issues. This location is very quiet and serene so that worked out great for him. I put door alarms/door stops on the floor inside in the front of each exterior door. For a more active person, families may need to supply more safety measures as appropriate.
