Sol La Vie. Picturesque views! air conditioned 2 bedroom 2 bath with outdoor bar and grill and private pool overlooking Coral Bay and British Virgin Islands! Fully renovated with huge 2-story deck for outdoor living and enjoyment. Five minutes from Coral Bay shops, grocery, and restaurants, many with live music. Ten minutes away from famous North Shore beaches like Francis, Maho, Trunk, Cinnamon, & Hawksnest. All the amenities of home but with a view you can only find on St. John.

The price is based on the number of people who occupy the property. Nightly rate is based on a 1-2 occupancy. Each additional guest above 2 is charged a per person per nights fee. Please enter the correct TOTAL number of guests including children when booking the property. Only paying guests are allowed on the property.

Suggestions

The plant growth around pool area is over grown and blocks the view of Coral Bay. On the first floor the area that looked like it use to be a screened in porch needs more lighting. Just the two lights in the corner is not enough. There should be some overhead lights especially over the table in the room.

AMAZING!!!!!

I rarely take the time to do a review on VRBO but this property deserves the love. The views and the whole experience were awesome. They even provided really great snacks, some reef safe sunscreen and bug spray, which I thought was a very nice touch. There are definitely some bugs, but that's the whole island. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

A nice corner of paradise

We loved the outdoor space of this property - the grill and the seating area were great for meals. The pool was very nice in the hot afternoons, and the top deck was perfect for stargazing at night. Overall this was a nice property and a great location.

Beautiful view and very comfortable

The property was beautifully furnished and maintained. The kitchen is well equipped and there are very comfortable couches and places to hang out in the living space. Table and chairs offer gorgeous view. Beds super comfortable. Very quiet area, slept great! A/C and fans. Pool was clean and it's nice to have happy hour on their high deck overlooking the bays. Flat parking area but takes some getting used to getting in and out of the driveway :) Property manager very communicative and responsive.

Highly Recommend

Easy check in process and great communication! Very clean and comfortable place to relax. On the quieter side of the island takes about 20-25 Mins to drive from Cruz Bay. Short 10-15 mins drive to Maho Bay. Great property would stay again!

Beautiful views

Beautiful views, upstairs air conditioning was great, bedrooms are downstairs and you go outside to get to lower level and the air conditioning is not great and loud, stuffy so I sleep upstairs on the couch which was fine. We rented a jeep and explored most of the island and Coral Bay was a great location! If the cleaners could wiped down all outside cabinets and such that would be great as dirty finger prints left behind but this is fixable for the next guest!

Incredible Views at Sol La Vie!!

Great place with an amazing view! St. John was a blast, and this was a great place to stay while enjoying the island. Having beach chairs and beach towels provided was a huge plus. Be sure to have a Jeep or similar vehicle to get to the house and around the island. Would definitely stay here again!

Absolute Tropical PARADISE!

We are so thankful to have found Sol La Vie on VRBO! The home was even better than photos or description. It was a peaceful oasis with billion dollar views. Upon arrival, there was the most thoughtful care package of North Shore Deli goodies. We were so hungry after traveling! The home was spotless and had everything we needed & more. The outdoor areas were surreal with lush tropical trees, flowers and huge coconut palm. The home has views from each room. The bedrooms were very comfortable and we slept so good after our days spent snorkeling the different beaches. The flat driveway made for great parking (not something we realized was so important until seeing how so many have to park at other homes)!!! We did not want to leave your beautiful home and will be daydreaming of the next time we can come back to Sol La Vie. PS - James was SO HELPFUL as well as Victor who met us in Cruz Bay and showed us the way to the home and got us settled. Thanks for everything!! ☀️

Beautiful paradise

We stayed here from July 15-20. I can’t say enough. The house is exactly like the pictures. The views were beautiful. We really appreciated the welcome basket with wonderful treats. Communication with the property owners were excellent. The house has everything you could need. We appreciated the beach towels and chairs as it definitely saved us a bit of money. The pool was gorgeous and a great way to spend an evening after a long day at the beach. There is a market and four restaurants within an easy 5 minute drive. The beds were super comfy. We can’t say enough about our wonderful stay

Excellent Accomodations!

If you're looking for a a quieter, more relaxing stay, then this property in Coral Bay is for you! We very much enjoyed our stay here. Comfortable beds, beautifully furnished and decorated, private pool, plus a basket of goodies in the fridge for us! Easy access to Maho Bay and Cinnamon Bay beaches (Cinnamon Bay was our favorite), lots of Sugar Mill ruins to explore nearby. Grouper tacos at Surf Club Cantina and burgers at Skinny Legs were a huge hit! And if you're looking for a little more activity, Cruz Bay is only 25 minutes away. Keep Left!

simply beautiful

We spent a week in this lovely villa and enjoyed every minute. The home is lovely but the views are fantastic! The drive up was easy. The place is well equipped. The decks and pool are awesome. Other than just staring at the views, our favorite was listening to the night sounds... We will be back!

Unforgettable Views!

My husband & I went alone to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. The place felt homey, nicely decorated & your essentials were provided also. They also provided a Keurig & regular coffee maker. The pool was a lifesaver & we enjoyed it very much. The privacy was nice also as the lush landscaping was beautiful & the nature of the outdoors was awesome! We would definitely recommend this home & hope to go back one day. Oh, and the views will never be forgotten!

Spectacular!

We had such a great stay at this property. The property manager did a great job of communicating with us prior to the start or our trip and on the day we arrived. We were escorted to the property, given a tour and absolutely delighted to see a variety of things to eat (hummus with veggies, pasta salad, etc) in the fridge. An absolute blessing after 12+ hours of travel. The property itself was wonderful. We didn’t cook much but the kitchen had everything we needed (minus olive oil). The AC was fantastic after a long day in the sun and the beds were fairly comfortable. The private pool was WONDERFUL and the view is absolutely unreal. We enjoyed watching the various birds and hummingbirds in the trees. The beach chairs and cooler were appreciated and great to take to the beach. Plus the extra beach/pool towels came in handy. The drive is steep but we never had a problem getting up the hills and the property is exceptionally quiet and private. As someone who vacations to get away from people and the hustle and bustle of every day life, this space was absolutely perfect. Can’t wait to come back

Simply amazing!

The views are breath taking. The pictures can never do it justice. We had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. We enjoyed the island itself but couldn't wait to get back to this lovely spot each day. The beds are comfortable. I typically feel like I need to do a little cleaning when we arrive to a rental and that was not the case here. It was clean and comforting. There was great communication throughout the rental and arrival process. We can't wait to come back.

Perfect getaway

Property is spacious and beautiful. The views are every bit as good as the pictures. Location is excellent - on the quieter side of the island. Easy to access the beaches, and the beach chairs and coolers provided by the property were very helpful. Some of the reviews mentioned the road. The property is at the top of a high hill, which is why the views are so spectacular. Put your car in second gear and head up the hill. The cars with automatic transition have the option to switch to manual, which helps give your car the extra push that will make it seem like no big deal to head up the hill. Btw, there are hills like this all over the island, so you’re going to go up and down them anyway when headed to beaches. This place was the perfect home base for a getaway to just relax and enjoy the beaches. There are restaurants nearby too, and there’s no real need to go to the busier Cruz Bay side except for the ferry and if there’s a particular restaurant you want to visit. I’d recommend buying gallons of bottled water for drinking, and bring water bottles for the beaches. A no-doubt 5 star property!

Perfect Spot!

The images of Blue Bay View are what prompted me to book it. It did NOT DISAPPOINT. The views are amazing from all of the decks, the sunroom, and the bedrooms! We were able to see iguanas in the treetops (late afternoons), hermit crabs all over the grounds and didn't have any trouble with bugs being so high on the hillside (I'm assuming). We did get to see many goats and donkeys on the road in and out, and even some goats taking up residence in the property next door under construction. The roads are steep and rough in places, but not as bad as I had read, so fear not when you read other reviews about how scary they are (just make sure you have a jeep :)) This location is perfect, in my opinion, to experience the island YOUR WAY. Coral Bay is quieter than Cruz Bay but Cruz Bay and the beaches are a short drive away. If you want to relax at the end of the day - this is where you want to be. Waking up to coffee and sunrises while listening to the island come alive (and by that I mean roosters and donkeys baying) is one of my favorite takeaways from this trip. JP and the property managers were so easy to work with. We will definitely return to Blue Bay View!

Coral Bay & Bordeaux Mountain Retreat

The steep road led us to Blue Bay View, a clean, pleasant retreat with great accommodations. The villa is private and very clean. The multi-level deck let’s you move to shade or sun, while enjoying an Easterly gorgeous view. It is on the simple side, but fulfills many needs. The vegetation has recovered from the last hurricane. The management team took great care of us. Great for a couple or two and not to far from hiking and snorkeling.

A Piece of Peaceful Coral Bay

Everything was perfect! We love the quiet and gorgeous view. We are very used to the curvy steep roads as we have been to Coral Bay a week or two for past 10 years. Try local Coral Bay eateries and markets. See you next year God willing.
