Selah Cabin- Dog Friendly/BBQ/Level 2 EV Charger
Fantastically located, Selah Cabin is a terrific property for your Sierra Mountains excursion. Located just a few miles from the heart of Oakhurst, 12 miles from Yosemite's Southern Entrance, and less than 5 miles from Bass Lake, you'll be able to take full advantage of all the area has to offer.
Sit on the front porch and enjoy the beautiful views while sipping your morning coffee or having your evening wine. A large yard gives space for the kids to play, including a bocce ball court and a basketball hoop. A level 1 EV charger AND a level 2 EV charger sit on either side of the garage and are included with your stay.
3 flat screen tv's capable of live streaming Netflix, Amazon, etc. are situated throughout the cabin to give you some entertainment after a long day of hiking and exploring. Heartfelt touches and decor are scattered through the entire home, giving you the sense of love and appreciation that have went into making it a true home away from home.

Master bedroom- One King Bed with en suite Bathroom #1 (Upstairs)
Bedroom 2- One King Bed (Upstairs)
Bathroom #2 in common area downstairs
Bedroom 3- One Queen Bed, 1 twin bed with 1 rollaway trundle bed (Main Floor)
Living room- Full sized pullout sofa (Main Floor)
The home has recently had mini splits installed in each room for heating and cooling. We are no longer supplying pellets for the pellet stove in the living room, because it is no longer needed for heating.
Rental Agreement- Immediately after booking, the rental agreement displayed at checkout will be sent to you via text and email for E-signing. Kindly E-sign this within 48 hours to finalize your reservation. You will also need to upload a photo of the ID associated with the credit card on file. This is solely for fraud protection purposes. E-signing allows you to go straight to the property upon your arrival, instead of coming to our office to sign and get a key!
Welcome Guide - One week prior to arrival, we will text you a link to an online welcome guide. It will have your special door code, address, items provided, and much more!
Access to Yosemite and Nearby Attractions- Yosemite National Park, like many others across the United States, has implemented a reservation system in recent years to manage visitor numbers effectively. We highly recommend that visitors planning a trip to Yosemite stay informed by regularly checking the National Parks websites and affiliated sources for any updates regarding the reservation system. While we strive to provide our guests with an exceptional experience, it's important to note that access to Yosemite or nearby attractions cannot be guaranteed, especially during peak seasons. By staying informed and flexible, visitors can better navigate their travel plans and make the most out of their trip to this beautiful region.
Kitchen- The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, cookware, cups, silverware, and more! Our housekeeping team leaves out salt, pepper, and a can of cooking spray. Friends, family, and other guests sometimes leave spices, aluminum foil or ziploc bags at the home. You are most welcome to use any of these items, but if something is particularly crucial to the success of your meals, we do recommend bringing it along with you.
Linens- Our vacation homes are some of the few in the Yosemite area to use professionally laundered linens. All linens are professionally serviced for each and every reservation. The linens are washed in commercial grade washers with stronger hypoallergenic detergent than you would find in a residential washer. All linens are then pressed with an iron at 300° F, vs. a standard home dryer that only reaches 160°. You are not likely to find this level of service in other vacation homes.
Pellet Stove- Kindly note that any type of wood burning is typically unavailable in the summer and fall months, due to heightened fire risk in the area. BBQ grills are usable year round. Since the property has an adequate heating system, pellets are not provided. You are most welcome to bring any for your own ambiance if you wish.
Hot Tub- There is no lifeguard on duty for the hot tub. Please use at your own risk. We kindly ask that you shower prior to entering the hot tub.
Dog Friendly! - This property IS dog friendly! Please indicate that you will be bringing a dog when you make your reservation and a $100 pet fee will be assessed. This $100 covers the entire stay, and is not a per day charge. There is a 2 dog maximum at the property. Please do not allow your dog(s) on the furniture or leave your dog(s) in the home unattended and use a leash when outside, per county ordinance.
Parking- There is enough parking for 5 cars at this property. The garage is unavailable to guests, as it is used for owner storage. We appreciate you not exceeding the maximum parking limit. Many of the local roads are privately owned and privately maintained. Please be mindful to obey speed laws and drive slowly in residential neighborhoods!
Early check-in and late checkouts are usually unavailable. This includes luggage and grocery drop-offs. Please kindly plan your grocery shopping/traveling around the 4 PM check-in time (you can check in after that as late as you would like). If you need to check in early or check out late, we strongly recommend booking an additional night on the front end or back end of your stay. This will allow you to check in as early or check out as late as you need. Most homes up here have a 10AM checkout. We do 11AM to give you extra time. Our housekeepers and cleaning inspectors work all over the mountains, and timing is usually tight.
Occupancy- Maximum occupancy of 10 guests regardless of age. Infants are included in the total. This is strictly enforced. No having events/weddings/large dinner gatherings/guests over just to visit.
Security Cameras- There are external only cameras on the premises that face certain entrance points of the home.
Chains- California Highway Patrol and the National Park Service may require chains in wintery/snowy/icy conditions. Please ensure you are bringing a vehicle and necessary equipment capable of navigating in these conditions.
No Smoking- The Smoke Remediation Fee will be a minimum of $500 for smoking in the house and could be higher depending on the extent of the damage.
Insurance- Travel Insurance is provided as an option during the checkout process. Please note that as hosts, we cannot protect your trip from flight delays, illnesses, weather, job loss, or other circumstances that may prevent you from making your trip. We truly wish we could! We STRONGLY suggest purchasing some type of Travel Insurance so that you may protect your vacation investment from unforeseen circumstances that may prevent you from making your trip. It's a nominal cost that can absolutely pay off!
Mail- Due to locked neighborhood mailboxes, we ask you not mail anything to the property. You are most welcome to mail items to our office (Love Yosemite! Vacation Rentals) in Oakhurst. Please reach out to us to make arrangements.
Calling Us - After booking, you are always welcome to call us at our main phone number, 24/7. That number does not receive text messages, but you will receive a text from us after booking and you can respond to that text thread any time you like. We check text messages regularly during the day and early evening.
Please note this property is nestled in the breathtaking Sierra Nevada Mountain Range, offering a serene escape into nature. However, being in such a pristine environment means that you may occasionally encounter some of nature's residents, such as ants, spiders, insects, mice, and cobwebs. We take every precaution, including regularly scheduled professional pest control to minimize these occurrences, but they are a natural part of the mountain experience and may get past our defenses from time to time. If you do notice any of this during your stay, please let us know so we can promptly address them and ensure your comfort.
Neighbors- Please do not trespass on the neighboring properties. We appreciate you respecting the local neighborhood!
Internet- Peer-to-peer (for example bit torrent) and downloads of copyrighted and illegal material are strictly forbidden by United States law and our internet provider actively monitor these activities. Guests are fully responsible for any illegal uploading or downloading of content and for other illegal activities. By agreeing to the House Rules, you agree to not perform any illegal activities using the home`s internet connection. Any copyright infringement by guest is subject to release of guest's information to copyright holder.
Simple Checkout Instructions-
1. Check out time is 11:00am, not 10am like most vacation homes up here!
2. Please do not do any laundry, it's all professionally serviced off-site.
3. If you have time to start the dishwasher, that would be helpful but not necessary.
4. Kindly throw your garbage in the large green dumpster, located out by the parking! It really helps us keep the critters away!
5. Most importantly, please return any furniture you may have moved during your stay.
P.S. Don't forget to get a last minute photo or two with your family and friends before leaving!
