There is no place like home, until you come to Pajaro Dunes! Curving along a mile and half of the Monterey Bay, past miles of strawberry fields on the coast is our private gated beach community. Our beach community is located between Santa Cruz and Monterey, California off Highway 1. The resort is a blend of 550 private and vacation rental homes and condominiums. Pajaro Dunes Resort is a resort like no other. Our property features tennis courts, basketball and volleyball courts, and biking & walking paths. Walk the private, pristine beach with panoramic views from Pebble Beach to Santa Cruz.

Our condominium is located in the Shorebirds complex of Pajaro Dunes. Located on the top level. Our condo has beautiful full ocean views and faces Monterey perfect for enjoying sunrises. We have a new king bed in the ocean front master bedroom and a Queen + Twin for another couple or teens or little ones . Step out your patio door and listen to the ocean waves crashing onto the shore. Our home is clean and beautifully decorated. Completely equipped, fully furnished and we just finished remodeling our kitchen, installed brand new carpeting through out our home, induction stove with necessary pots and pans provided, and other updates this past June 2019! Spend family fun playing Pickle Ball, tennis or basketball with courts located on site. Stop by our lobby where we offer an assortment of loaner sports equipment for our renters including pickle ball sets! Pajaro Dunes Resort is perfect for a family vacation or a couples retreat! Admire the beauty of the sand dunes and enjoy miles of untouched shoreline. Collect sand dollars on the beach and watch the wildlife right outside your window. From seals, sea otters, whales, snowy plovers, to the magical sights of the pelicans flying overhead, step back and truly soak in the relaxation.

Pajaro Dunes has the most amazing views and access to the beach! This has a nicely remodeled kitchen and comfortable beds - have stayed here before and will be back again!

Peaceful, beautiful, romantic getaway

It was our first time staying at Pajaro Dunes, and it won't be the last. The resort is in a quiet, peaceful location with access to a pristine sandy beach. You can quickly get to Capitola, Santa Cruz, and many more sights. We wandered, collected shells, watched the waves, and enjoyed the quietude. We'll be back!

Beautiful spot on the Beach!

This is our second stay here and we returned because of the bright and beautiful space right on the beach. The house is very clean with everything you need for cooking, watching movies and enjoying the beach.

Picture perfect!

This was a girls weekend we all needed!! The picture were true to real life. It was a perfect place to stay and get away from it all. The private beach was literally steps away. We could not have asked for anything better. Can’t wait to go back!

Great views

Great views of the ocean. Grounds are lovely and I felt very safe traveling with my child. We had an unfortunate issue with our unit that I believe was a result of the prior guests.

Dune-not have words to describe!

What a beautiful condo, and an even better view of the ocean! Clean, up to date, and comfortable stay. Thanks so much, we had a great vacation and loved all the comforts of home. Great linens, washer and dryer, grill, clean bathrooms and these great swivel chairs that can either be used to look out the window or inside the apartment. We loved being on the third floor, great view and we could leave the sliding doors open on the patio without worrying about someone coming in. Staff was super friendly and easy access to the beach was just perfect. Thanks again! Would highly recommend!!!

Girls' Get-away

We celebrated a friend's retirement, and it was the perfect home for us. The interior is newly refreshed and beautiful. The view is lovely. You do have to walk up stairs, so be prepared for that.

Great Location and views

The room was nice, everything we needed and an amazing view of the ocean. The downside, the property is very dated. I'm not sure any money has been reinvested in the place in the past 25 years besides pickleball courts. I would imagine this place was amazing in the 80's/90's. I feel since then property management collects the dues and that is all.

Clean Property with a Spectacular View

We enjoyed staying at the property, which was very clean and equipped with everything one would need to cook a home made meal. The beach view was breath taking and we were able to walk to the beach within 10 minutes. The front desk office staff were very friendly and helpful with questions. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

Awesome!

This is a wonderful property not to be missed. The views are incredible, the mattresses are comfortable, and there is plenty of seating. We had three, but it could accommodate four. Any more than that would be tight.

Nice condo

This is a nice condo! Only downside is the queen size bed as opposed to a king, but we knew that going in. Easy process for check in and out. Always a treat to be at Pajaro!

Location Location Location

Right off a clean uncrowded beach near San jose, the only thing we could have asked for was for no wind on our first day. Other than that beach conditions were great. Kind of secluded but only 20-30 mins away from Santa cruz, marina, and monterey. Highly recommended.

Fantastic stay right on he beach!

This was the perfect spot for my family of 3. Very bright, cozy and clean. Gorgeous views of the beach from the living room and master suite. 1 minute walk to an amazing stretch of beach. Nice big TV screen that pulls out for movie night. Comfortable beds. Very quiet and relaxed complex. We will go again! Only 2 suggestions would be water pressure in master bedroom shower is very low, perhaps a new shower head. And a blackout curtain for the other bedroom because the lights from the complex shine through all night (we put up a sheet in a pinch to help).

Dream Spring Break!

This was our 2nd time at Pajaro and first at this unit. We loved the updated look and had everything we needed for a wonderful week. No complaints and we can’t wait to go back!

Comfortable stay

My adult children and I enjoyed our stay at this home. It was strategically located to Monterey and to events we were attending in Watsonville. Kitchen was well appointed. The cost exceeded the value of the property notwithstanding its location to the beach but I guess in todays environment that is the price we all pay when visiting anywhere in California.

Weekend get away for gymnastics meet

In town for the weekend for my daughter's gymnastics meet. We wanted to be as close to the beach as possible. It was literally a 30 40 second walk to the beach from our condo. Couldn't of asked for a better location. Views of the beach and ocean right out the living room window. Condo was clean, quiet and had all the basic necessities. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to be close to the beach.

Great Space & Location

Beautiful location!

This location and property were beautiful! Super easy check-in, lots of good walking paths and easy access to the beach. Felt very cozy inside the unit. Would stay again!
