Mediterranean home that steps to the private end of Twin Lakes Beach. Blacks Beach has great swimming, surfing and skim boarding. Walk to the Harbor, Crow's Nest, Como di Lago, The kind Grind Coffee Shop and other great spots. Bike rentals available. Our house is fully equipped for your enjoyment. bath and beach towels, linens and down quilts. There are two master bedrooms (California king & two extra long twin beds) with full baths upstairs and balconies. There is a queen sofa bed downstairs with a half bath. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is indoor dining room seating for four and outdoor seating.

A warm outdoor shower is located on the side yard and there is a tropical secluded patio in the backyard with gas BBQ, dining table and chairs. Skim boards, boogie boards and beach toys are provided. This home is perfect for two couples or a family. (2-6 occupancy). We will accept pets upon approval but there is an additional fee. Parties and Weddings are not allowed.

Perfect weekend

The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. Close to beach and it is a dead end street so not a lot of traffic.

Fantastic house doors down from the beach!

This is one of our favorite rental properties in Santa Cruz and Laurie is a fantastic host! The house is adorable and well adorned. Fantastic east side location and close to everything we love about Santa Cruz! Recommend highly.

Our favorite place in Santa Cruz

This is our favorite place in Santa Cruz. Laurie's home is cozy and comfortable, half a block from the beach. She's made sure the check-in process is easy, and is always available should you have any questions/concerns. F

Nice property with good floor plan.

This was a conveniently located quiet neighborhood. Each bedroom had a private bath and there was good separation between the bedrooms. I would have preferred a double or queen bed in the 2nd bedroom for my group, but the twin beds would work really well for families with kids. I would gladly stay at this property again.

Perfect place in Santa Cruz

We loved staying here — adorable house and amazing proximity to a great beach. The "loaner" beach items at the house were so thoughtful...thanks for the beach towels, chairs, wagon, wetsuits and boogie board!

Wonderful getaway on the coast

This is our 4th year in a row staying here. We come at the end of summer each year and love the location, the house, and big plus for us is that it’s also pet friendly. The owner is personal and very helpful. Super clean and wonderful having beach chairs, wagon, beach towels, and even wet suits in the garage. Location is less than a 5 min walk to a wonderful beach.

What a Delightful Beach House!

The house is open, bright and sunny, and it was so clean and inviting. Everything we needed to enjoy our stay at the beach was provided, beyond what we could have imagined we even needed. We had the best vacation in years, the house is so close to the beach. We would definitely return to this location, wonderful host, beautiful home.

Peaceful beach home

Such a wonderful house, and the host provided everything! Path to a not-crowded beach less than half a block away, with cart, beach towels, beach umbrella, and even frisbees ready to go. Soap and shampoo, dishwashing and laundry detergent already there. And such a clean, cute property! Quiet and peaceful. Felt like home, and we hope to return!

Charming beach house

Our family of 4 and dog stayed for 3 nights and found the place to be fantastic. Clean and welcoming, spacious and peaceful. An idyllic little yard in back and steps from the dog-friendly beach really made the stay homey. Thanks for your excellent hosting.

Close to everything.

The only thing that would have made this a better trip were if it had been warmer outside. We had a nice stay, I would make one recommendation and that would be have some blinds or drapes on the shower windows. Odd there isn’t anything covering the large shower windows.

Perfect Place to Relax and Enjoy a Seaside Retreat

My daughter and her 4 year-old came from Indiana to visit for a week. The house is charming, immaculate and cozy. It is located literally steps from the nearby beach. My daughter-in-law and her two children could only join us for a day but the kids made the most of being so close to the beaches and near-by Capitola, where the quaint shops and friendly people reminded me of the days I took my children to body surf nearby. We also visited Monterey and Carmel during a couple of the days and left feeling refreshed and with many happy memories. I hope to reserve the house again in the future.

Wonderful home and location

This place is great. A short walk to the beach, corner store, and restaurants. Very spacious, you may not think so from the picture of the front but it is!!! Easy check in and great communication. Lots of amenities for the beach and an outdoor shower. Would definitely stay here again!!

Wonderful beach house!

This was our first time renting this property, and we’re so glad that we did! Really darling and very well appointed. Plenty of room for our family of four and our dogs. Amazing location – half a block from Black Beach and walking distance to restaurants that we love. Wonderful property manager! Can’t wait to rent it again.
