*Nestled in the pines on Prospect Mountain, in-town, yet private location. No really close neighbors. 1248 sq ft house and over 700 sq ft of decks. Two levels of deck on the mountain view side and one large dining, hot tub deck.

*Upstairs- living room with fireplace and firewood provided, fully equipped kitchen, queen bedroom with attached bath. 24' deck from patio doors in living room. All decorated in mountain themes.

*Lower walk out has yet another 30' deck, family room has a queen sofa sleeper with memory foam mattress, queen bedroom with attached bath, or with door shut access from family room. The third room has a queen bed and dresser, and stacked washer/dryer.

We offer unlimited free long distance from the home phone, and high speed Internet. Wildlife is abundant. You are close enough to walk to town, and within walking distance to Shopping, Rock Cut Brewery, Snowy Peaks Winery, the Aerial Tramway, Fun City with miniature golf, slides, bumper boats, race cars, and one of Estes's favorite restaurants, Sweet Basilico! We do recommend a AWD vehicle for winter guests.

Fantastic Location, Warm & Cozy House & 3 Decks: Decorated in Mountain theme. Personal attention paid to detail for comfort, convenience, and your enjoyment. Wonderful outdoor space with 3 decks and a true mountain setting with boulders, rock outcroppings, and pines. Plenty of room to explore and enjoy the wildlife that frequents the cabin.

Excellent Little Spot

Linda was more than commodating with our last minute addition of a family member which was unexpected but she worked with us. Also this place is a GEM and has so many great qualities!! Truly secluded and mountain cabin to spend looking at the mountains with every morning coffee. We hope to come back!

Snowshoe Basecamp

Great location in quiet neighborhood close to town and Rocky Mountain National Park. Cozy cabin with ample room to relax inside and outside. Hot tub was much appreciated after exploring the park on snowshoes. Well-appointed kitchen for efficient meal prep. Beds were comfortable with great sheets, pillows, and soft bath towels.Very clean and neat inside and out. Property manager was prompt and helpful with any questions we had.Overall a wonderful place to use as a basecamp for adventure or to relax and enjoy nature.

Heavan on earth...

My friend and i were in dire need of some rest, relaxtion and unwinding....this beautiful well stocked, well decorated, extremely comfortable home was exactly what we needed. The host was very kind and very helpful, she kept in constant communication with us with any question we had.. she and the home were exactly what we needed. Thank you again for giving us such a wonderful place and experience to recharge our soul batteries!!!

Comfortable cabin with everything you might need. Enjoyed the deck with views of the woods, the fire pit, birds, and a couple of mule deer.

Cabin in E.P.

Cabin was very cozy and clean. Proximity to town was great with a secluded feel. We had 5 adults staying here and were comfortable. The only issue is downstairs bathroom is bery small and shared by 2 bedrooms. But that is a minor incinvenience.

Great cabin with a great location!

This is our second time staying at this cabin and we love it. It’s clean and comfortable with all of the amenities you need. The cabin is close enough to downtown to walk, yet still quiet and relaxing. And the hot tub is always a plus. We will be back!

Family Time

Wow the location of this cabin is so wonderful. The downtown is a 5 min walk. It was so wonderful to see the Elj roaming the down town area. It was unbelievable how many we seen. September is a great month. The weather was gorgeous

Pine Cone Cabin --Aug-2024

Stayed at the cabin in early August 2024 and had a great time. The location is perfect for being close to the park as well as town. Many town locations are within walking distance. The property is as advertised and has everything you will need for an awesome stay. The hot tub is perfect after a long day of hiking or walking around town. The host Linda is always available for any questions and very proactive about ensuring you know critical things such as time entry passes for the park, which you will most likely need depending on the date of your stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Awesome Estes cabin!!!

We LOVED our time at the cabin! Linda was so wonderfully accommodating! So much attention to details: blankets, fire pit, hot tub, games, cozy beds, plenty of towels, etc. Perfect walking distance to town and close to RMNP!

Great place great host

Four of us stayed at the PCC in June and really enjoyed it. Our favorite spot was either the lower deck enjoying the view or the firepit in the evening with some drinks. Lots of elk deer and birds to enjoy, especially in the morning or evening. I appreciated that it was very clean and instructions / house rules were posted on fridge. Linda was a great host and very responsive to any message. One suggestion for future renters is to please read the directions and not do like I did and just plug into the GPS. I ended up at a barrier and had to backup a steep hill. :-) We had planned to use the hot tub but never got around to and the firepit was just too nice at the end of the day. We donated 4 dollar store wine glasses :-) and hope you enjoy them around the fire pit. Thanks.

Wedding in the Rockies

Good location. Linda was awesome, we decided to only stay 5 versus 7 days prior to deadline to cancel, Linda promptly refunded us our 2 days rental. Her cabin had everything you could need on a vacation, like being at home, down to beach towels and coolers. We saw elk and moose deer from the balconyYou won’t be disappointed if you decide to book this property

Perfect, charming cabin!

I cannot imagine a more idyllic location in Estes Park! We felt "away from it all" yet we were right there close to town. A moose walked past us while we had lunch on the patio!! This was one of the most thoughtfully detailed cabin with everything a person could want. I only wish we had more time to stay! I highly recommend this property!

Good, but...

Two bedrooms are downstairs, the washer and dryer and water heater are all inside one of those bedrooms, limiting when you can do laundry as we were out and about during the day and then could not run machines while people downstairs were trying to sleep. You can hear everything, so for anyone trying to go to bed early it was impossible to fall asleep as you can hear just normal conversations from upstairs in the downstairs level. The driveway is impossible to turn around in, you have to back out of it and half way down the road before you can turn around in another driveway. House was clean and very well stocked kitchen and towels and blankets. For 2 parents and kids it would be a good rental, but for 4 to 6 adults I would look elsewhere.

Beautiful place to stay

The cabin was perfect! We had 5 in our group. We did some cooking, the cabin had everything we needed. There were plenty of towels for all. The only thing negative is the mattress in the main upstairs room had divits on both sides and I have been seeing a chiropractor since January. We did have a mattress topper with us that we used but a new firm mattress would be a great benefit. Thank you, Linda! You are an awesome host!

I have been a long term rental home owner) for over 40 years. We fell in love with Estes Park and the mountains and wanted to spend more of our time here. We purchased Pine Cone Cabin in 2004 and it has been everything we had wanted in a vacation home. We now have the wonderful opportunity to share our home with our special guests and see the joy they find in the Estes Park and Rocky Mountain area!

Pine Cone Cabin is in a unique location. Located on a private, in-town, road. Close to all of the attractions, restaurants, shopping, coffee shops, and RMNP, yet you have nice privacy and a truly beautiful setting at the cabin. You will be staying on your own piece of the mountain and will love the surroundings!
