We loved this place. Plenty of room for us and nice to have 2.5 baths. Hot tub was clean and just a short drive to RMNP. My only recommendation would be to add some chairs that people could take into town or beach. There was live music but we didn’t have any chairs to go sit and listen in the park.

Comfortable private home near town with lots of room. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and playing games in the evening. Such a lovely view of the Stanley Hotel from the front deck/windows! Great hosts, easy directions and local recommendation info in the house. Would definitely return.

We had a really great time! Great location. So close to everything including RMNP. Kitchen had everything you need to prepare meals. Beds were super comfortable! Host was very responsive. Just a couple of small things that would have made the stay even better….A lamp is needed in the upstairs family room/TV area and an umbrella for the table outside on the porch. We ended up just moving a lamp from the Master bedroom to the family room every night so we had a light source in there. A table umbrella would have provided some cover from both the hot sun and rain so we could have enjoyed the veranda (and the fantastic views) a-lot more for coffee in the mornings.

This home was a lovely place for my family during our Rocky Mountain vacation. The space was enough for all of us to spend time together but also have some alone time to wind down at night. It is conveniently located about 10 to 20 minutes from everything we planned to visit. The hot tub was a nice bonus for sore hiking muscles. The kitchen was fully stocked with baking and cooking essentials and even had some Tupperware we were able to use to keep our packed lunches from being crushed in our backpacks. Other than there being no central air (quite an adjustment for us east coast beach people) there was nothing we didn't like. They do have fans in every room to help with the temperature and that was greatly appreciated. Overall, perfect home for a perfect vacation.

The stay was great! Fantastic location that's nestled in the foothills, but still very close to downtown. There's a grill onsite that makes it easy to make your own food or is minutes away from shops and restaurants. The hot tub and beautiful views was a nice way to end the day. Family-friendly and quiet neighborhood made for a peaceful and relaxing trip!

Great place in Estes

We really enjoyed our stay in Estes for the month of October 2022. The house worked out well. There was a large parking area on the side of the house. There was no garage available. To enter the house, the owner provided an access code for a lockbox containing the keys. The house has a main level and a basement. If needed, the main level is handicap accessible through the master bedroom. There are stairs to the front deck. The front deck has several chairs and a table. The main living area is located as you enter through the front door from the deck. This living area has a couple couches and a large smart TV. We were able to use our own Fire Stick to access our online subscriptions. There is a wood burning fireplace in the living room. The heat was provided throughout the house with base board heating. There is a small half bath located near the kitchen, The kitchen was well-equipped with older appliances and a table with 6 chairs. The appliances all worked well. This was a working vacation for my husband, so he set up his work area in the kitchen. The internet was good and adequate for our use. There are three bedrooms. The huge master is on the main level and has a king bed and a large master bath with a large, tiled shower and matching vanities that are each side of the shower. The toilet is in a separate small room and there is a walk-in closet. The second bedroom is in the basement and has a queen bed. The third bedroom is also in the basement and has bunk beds. The second bathroom is in the basement in the hallway and has a shower also. There are base board heaters in the basement. The bedrooms and bathroom were nicely supplied with towels, linens, and toilet paper. Off the master bedroom, there is access to a small patio with seating for two. This patio received a lot of morning sun. The house sits right next to a high voltage electrical tower. This posed no problems whatsoever. Because of the tower, the views of Estes were fantastic because the trees were cleared. We did use the BBQ located on the side patio a couple of times. The washer and dryer were in a separate laundry room in the basement. They also worked well. Supplies of detergent and dryer sheets were available. The place is in Estes and a short drive to the downtown Estes area and Rocky Mountain National Park. The owner’s communication was prompt and complete. We will rent this place again if we return to Estes.
