The Tower is located in the Mendocino National Historic District, a short walk from restaurants, beaches, shopping, spas, galleries, and local wine, film, mushroom, whale, and film festivals. Little River Airport and golf course are less than 5 miles.
LOCATED IN THE HISTORIC DISTRICT OF MENDOCINO, unlike many so- called 'Mendocino' listings that are miles from town. The Tower offers well-appointed accommodations for 1 or 2 couples or a small group with pretty garden and ocean views. Stretch your travel budget by preparing some of your meals in the cheerful kitchen or walk to one of the fine local restaurants. The fenced garden creates a peaceful environment and accommodates bikes, kayaks, and children. Smoke-Free environment. No pets, please.

This was our third stay at the water tower, which has become one of our go-to spots for California travel. The tower is always clean, comfortable, and has everything we need for our stay. The property is truly unique, with its panoramic views, fun third floor loft and rooftop, and beautiful garden. The location is also perfect, centrally located in the middle of the village, with everything accessible by walking. You won’t regret a stay here.

Relaxing stay. Gorgeous views. Lovely garden. Easy walk to every store, gallery and restaurant in Mendocino, as well as access to the coastal/headlands trail(s). Charmingly decorated, and comfy bedding. What's not to like! A very special place.

Our stay in the water tower was excellent. Unique property in the heart of town. Everything you could hope for in an ocean view, centrally located, unique, clean and well stocked home. Will definitely return.

Our host was gracious and welcoming. The rental had everything we needed and more. The location is great and staying in a renovated water tower was such a treat. We could enjoy the sunset and moonrise from our very own top of the tower.

Wonderful stay! House is great, has everything you need. Garden is beautiful. Location is amazing, close to everything. My boys loved playing soccer across the way. We had such a great time. Can’t wait to come back!

Our stay was wonderful. The Water Tower was comfortable. The view of the garden from the living room was beautiful and peaceful. The kitchen was well equipped. We want to go back!!

Great Getaway in Mendocino
This is a wonderful place to stay in Mendocino. The location is terrific - an easy walk to everything in town and right on the road to the headlands. The water tower is very comfortable and great fun, and the gardens are beautiful. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Not only is this house amazing -- beautiful and comfortable -- but the garden is dreamy and the hosts are sweet, charming, and delightfully hospitable. We love the water tower and will return again and again!

Mendocino is where I spent most of my summers growing up and I was grateful to share this village with my family! Beautiful location and walking distance all around the town! Melanie the host was wonderful and responsive!

This is our fourth visit to the water tower, and it's been wonderful every time! One of our favorite things is the second floor bedroom, surrounded with light and the ocean view from the bed. We also love taking cocktails up to watch the sunset up from top of the tower.

Another Great Stay
We loved our second stay at the water tower. It is truly a unique experience, offering not only a clean and comfortable space, but an incredible garden, epic panoramic views, and friendly hosts. Do not hesitate to book.

Wonderful Water Tower
This is my fifth or sixth time here, there’s hardly any other place in Mendocino I would stay. Super quiet, wonderful hosts, great location, comfortable beds, gorgeous garden to sit in. Three blocks from everywhere in Mendocino Village, yet close to the headlands and ocean.

Garden Paradise
The water tower was in a lovely neighborhood with a quick walk to restaurants, shops and the beach. The garden was peaceful and beautiful with lovely flowers and birds. Would stay here again.

Amazing View!
Staying in a unique, renovated, water tower was a great experience. The tower is fully equipped to meet all your vacation needs. We will likely reserve some time here again!

Comfortable stay at Mendocino Tower
This was such a wonderful, unusual place, a converted water tower with three levels of living space. Wonderful ocean views, beautiful garden outside the living room and close to restaurants and shops in Mendocino! The view from the roof is amazing. We really enjoyed our stay!
