Enjoy every moment of your get away to paradise in this beautiful direct ocean view condo. F14 is a 650 sq ft 1 BR / 1 BA condo located at the desirable Kona Reef complex; a very short walk just south of Kailua Kona. This condo has full AC! That means you have super quiet split AC handlers, one in the living room and another in the bedroom, keeping you cool and comfortable at all times. The majority of Kona Reef condos only have a wall unit in the living room, where the AC never gets back to the hot bedroom, or have no AC at all.

This condo is located on the ocean side of Alii Dr. and has a direct unobscured ocean view from within the kitchen/living room and lanai, along with so many wonderful amenities to help you enjoy your vacation! The King size bed is a Sleep Number, so you can set your own comfort level for bed firmness, the Queen Sleeper sofa is outfitted with a memory foam mattress. Some extras include snorkel equipment, boogie boards, beach chairs and coolers for you to use during your stay!

The newly remodeled pool and jacuzzi opened on 11/25/2021! Come make a splash while relaxing and looking out at the beautiful ocean.

Wonderful time at Kona Reef

Best time ever staying at the Kona Reef ( Lori the host was the best ) Ocean View ( Condo was all set up for us ) quite , clean , would definitely stay at Lori’s condo again ( Rate 5 stars and much more like 10 stars )

Lovely Unit

Lori and Jay’s lovely unit is one of the best short term rentals we have ever stayed in! Spotlessly clean and equipped with absolutely anything you could need or want! Large spacious lanai with a gorgeous view. Split AC keeps both the bedroom and living room cool. Close walk to multiple restaurants and shops. Very responsive hosts. We loved the Big Island and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great place

Would absolutely stay here again! Great location, beautiful view, very clean and comfortable space, huge bed, a/c worked good, kitchen had everything you'd need and the beach equipment came in handy.

Perfect Place in Paradise

The location was perfect. It’s a short walk into town with plenty of restaurants and shops. Loved the view from the lanai and the sunsets. The condo felt just like home. The host provides everything you could possibly need and more! It was the perfect place for us to relax after all of our daily activities! Beautiful stay at a quiet resort property.

We had a lovely stay at the Kona Reef. The condo’s washer and dryer (and included soap) were helpful in keeping our suits and towels from getting musty. We had breakfast on the lanai every morning and loved watching the surfers and boogie borders. The location was perfect - far enough away to be quiet, close enough to Kona for easy access to restaurants and shopping. My only comment is that the paperwork you receive is pretty adamant about not getting sand in the condo. As a big beach goer, that part left me a little nervous. Sand in female swimsuits is an inevitability when you’re body surfing. There is a hose and shower at the pool to get visible sand, but there was this added layer of stress to get as much sand off as me as possible. In the end, I think we did okay, but it might be a hard thing to do with a child.

Love the Sound

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kona Reef. The unit had a great view right on the water. Liked sitting out on the Lanai and listening to the sound of the ocean. Unit was fully equipped with anything you could need. Lori was a gracious host and kept us advised of maintenance/management folks who might drop by. Location is very convenient to several good bars/restaurants. highly recommended. .

You will be blown away

This is my second time here and now a permanent place to stay when I come to the big island. Gracious hosts and they place is absolutely perfect. The owners care about their place and keep it well maintained. The location and view are exceptional. You will be very happy here.

Fantastic unit, Fantastic location

The unit was beautifully and comfortable furnished and had everything we needed and then some. The views from the balcony were amazing with whale sightings almost every day. The location was great. Just a few blocks from too many bars and restaurants to count. The beach chairs, cooler and boogie boards were perfect. The owners were great to deal with and we highly recommend this property!

Wonderful oceanfront condo

Great location and accommodations The condo had everything you could possibly need for your stay It was super clean and great location. Easy walk to restaurants . The property itself was very well maintained the pool and outdoor areas were kept extremely clean . Great communication with the owners before and during stay. Easy check in and check out. Loved the evening Conch Shell blowing on the beach at sundown . Would love to stay again if back on the Island .

Paradise in Kona

Ocean view from the lanai is a perfect place to enjoy morning coffee, meals and sunsets. Comfortable Sleep number bed and living room couch. The condo is decorated with beautiful historic photos, maps and island charm. The kitchen and bathroom are well stocked with quality amenities. We had everything we needed at the condo to make our stay enjoyable and stress free. Great location, easy walk to many places in Kona. Appreciate all the hosts have done to make this property outstanding.

This was a lovely property beautifully located and well maintained. We especially loved our view of the pool and ocean beyond. The owners anticipated every need that renters may require and they also communicated well in order to minimize inconvenience. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We had a great stay at the Kona Reef and Lori is a phenomenal host. Some features of this unit certainly separate it from the reviews of others nearby: cleanliness, comfortable king sized bed, smart tvs, oceanfront lanai, pool, jacuzzi, quiet/functioning air conditioning. The condo is a great jump off place for walking kona, and traveling to all the adventures around the island. Great proximity to the beachfront bars and shops. The maintenance crew of the building appears to keep the grounds very tidy, and pool clean, as you can see them hustling every morning. Lori left us some welcome gifts, was very accommodating and communicative. Seemed to offer as little or as much communication as you need, we fall into the “less is more” category. I would say she offered us the most gracious hosting style we have had while traveling! Thank you again! We tend to skip the costlier resort style accommodations, therefore would definitely return to this unit if/when we come back in the future!

A little piece of Heaven in Kona

This condo was fully stocked and super clean. Other than grabbing food items for snacks and meals, we had everything we needed. Kitchen and bathroom! The bathroom had soft towels, shamp/cond/soap dispenser in the shower and all the extras to make you feel at home. Easily accessible and clean snorkle gear and boogie boards. We spent most of our time exploring the island but when we were home we spent our time on the lanai. Amazing view of the ocean. We enjoyed hearing the blowing of conch shells at sunset. The location is great as well. Walking distance to the boardwalk on Ali'i Dr where all the restaurants and shops are. Very fun area at night! Cant say enough about how efficient Lori was with keeping us updated on our arrival. We didnt have to "check in" we were able to just go straight to the condo and follow the instructions on how to get in. Jay and Lori, thank you so much for opening your amazing home. We had an unforgettable time! Aloha for now!!
