Our well-appointed, ground floor, completely remodeled condo is waiting to welcome you in to RELAX. The breathtaking ocean view straight out onto the waves will thrill you the moment you enter into our home. "WOW!!" As our guests, we are confident that you will love it as much as we do each time we walk through the doorway.

• Once you have settled in, take the relaxing stroll along the waterfront into the quaint town of Kailua

• No need to hassle with driving - the shops and restaurants, spas and even a luau - are all within easy walking distance along a quiet side street.

• Or you can keep busy from morning 'til midnight, exploring the Kona Coast - hiking, biking, birding, fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, exploring remote beaches, the active volcano, green and black sand beaches, etc.

• We (2 sisters) want to assure you that we will be attentive and responsive to your needs as our guests.

• Come! Stay awhile - Relax, renew your energy and soak up the beauty of creation all around!

• We have a NEW Air Conditioning mini-split system throughout the condo.
We also just installed all new kitchen cabinets. =-P

IMPORTANT Note for 2026 - 2027 Spalling repair work at the Kona Reef:
*Kona Reef is scheduled to perform spalling work throughout the complex. There will be noise and dust from construction. Parking will be limited. Complex work is permitted Mondays-Fridays. Spalling is on-going at the complex through 2026, please inquire for more information. Exterior concrete repair and painting work is part of a resort-wide project anticipated to occur between January 5, 2026 and April 13, 2027. While work may not be taking place directly on your unit or stack during your stay, construction activity elsewhere or nearby buildings may result in intermittent noise during weekday work hours (Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 AM–5:00 PM). Construction schedules are subject to change due to weather, crew availability, or unforeseen conditions. Construction-related noise, restricted lanai access, or inconvenience does not qualify for refunds, discounts, or compensation. Please inquire directly for more information.

Kona condo

Enjoyed being right at the waters edge watching the waves roll in. Awesome sunsets from the lanai. The host was responsive to all communications and very accommodating.

Wow - stunning location

Amazing location, amenities and set up of property was top notch! Host was super responsive, checked in to see we were settled. Would stay again for sure! Can not beat the ocean front access.

Absolutely beautiful location. Property owner frequently checked in with us. So great to have a cooler, boogie boards and beach chairs to take out when we went exploring.

Checks all the boxes

Great place to stay, owner is very friendly, responsive and has everything you need in the condo. This place has views, walking distance to great restaurants and shopping and is very quiet. The morning coffee on the lania was worth it all, we were fortunate to see dolphins and our last day we also had two whales put on a show for everyone!

Everything as advertised, perfect stay

This place is adorable, very clean and well stocked with all essentials. We were super happy with it. Deb was very attentive upon checking in then just let us enjoy. I’m at as cute and clean as it looks, we would definitely recommend .

Great location and stunning oceanfront view

We loved staying at Debi's place in Kona Reef just a 10 min walk from downtown Kailua! The oceanfront lanai was such an amazing place to relax and take in the ocean views and wave sounds in between Big Island adventures. Her condo is well-stocked with everything you'll need for the beach (chairs, umbrella, beach towels, and more)! She was a super helpful and friendly host! Highly recommend!

Paradise!

Absolutely perfect place for a Kona getaway! The condo was clean and comfortable, beautifully furnished, equipped with everything we needed. Debi is a super helpful, communicative host, available to answer questions and suggest best places to eat, play etc. Great location and beautiful grounds and view. And quiet! Perfect for any age!

Finding ground floor true oceanfront condos with FULL A/C is very, very rare! This condo checked ALL of our boxes. The condo was clean and very roomy! The A/C did a great job. I also look for rentals that have ceiling fan in bedroom, and this unit had that too.I can't think of anything else that you would need that wasn't in this condo. I even saw writing paper in case you wanted to send a letter home! There were even gift bags!The kitchen had everything that you could possibly need. There were even real beach chairs to use.....not just the ones that were way too low for some of us.All of the instructions were very clear. Debbie was one of the best hosts/owners we have ever had. She was super quick to answer any of my (sometimes dumb) questions.There was a mix of ages when we stayed - some families with young kids and lots of middle age as well as retired seniors. We enjoyed chatting with folks in the hot tub. The pool was never too cold, and we enjoyed that every day. Being able to walk right out of your condo is a big plus for us, and it is a very short walk to the pool, but not so close that we ever heard any noise from there.The furniture appeared to be pretty new, and the bed was very comfortable, and there were plenty of towels, blankets and pillows. I would certainly recommend this unit to anyone planning a trip to the Big Island. Kona is a great area to stay making it a good jumping off point to explore. Additionally it is walking distance to store

Great Experience

Unit was great with every amenity you could need. Great location near town. Walk out patio on the ocean wonderful for morning coffee and nightly sunset viewing. Regular communication with owner Debi was much appreciated. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you!!

Paradise on Big Island

We arrive late Friday night and it was easy to check in into the condo. The location is amazing, getting up the sound of the waves crashing is a way to start your day. The condo is fully equipped. It’s an easy walk to Shop and restaurant. We enjoyed every moment of our holidays. Thank you

Fabulous vacation

We spent 10 days at this beautiful condo. The location was perfect- within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. Right on the beach. We loved having coffee and breakfast on the lanai each morning watching the waves break on the rocks. At night , it was the perfect place to watch beautiful sunsets. We got engaged on this trip so it will always have special meaning to us. We would absolutely stay at this lovely condo again on a future trip! The owner was extremely helpful and accommodating!

New Favorite

Kona just might be our new favorite place to visit, largely due to Debi's condo. Everything you could ever need, plus more! Walking distance to downtown, centrally located to other amazing beaches/snorkel sites, equipped with all the things for a beach vacation, and literally steps from the water. Exceeded expectations. Plus, Debi was so helpful and made us feel right at home. This was also our first time staying on the ground floor, and I'm not sure I could ever go back to anything else...the pictures don't do it justice. Already planning our next trip back!

Location and Hospitality!

The condo is ocean front and we could not get enough of that view! We walked out on the reef and spotted a sea turtle right away! We named him Horace and would look for him each day! The condo had everything we needed and then some! The additional air mattress on hideabed was way more comfortable than the typical mattress! We also enjoyed the ocean front pool and spa! The owners provided great information on places to go and instructions. We could walk next door to resort and have happy hour drinks at sunset and walk to town and shop within 5 minutes! We enjoyed Kona Reef and will be back!

Unforgettable Stay at Kona Reef D3

I cannot begin to share what a wonderful experience we had on our first visit to the Big Island. A few weeks before our trip, the owner, Debi sent us the most complete instructions on how to access the condo and the warmest wishes for our stay. The condo was wonderfully appointed with a fully stocked kitchen, spices, etc. and fully stocked, full size washer and dryer. Perfect for our long stay. The bed was dreamy, comfortable as was the furnishings in living room. The view was heart-stopping GORGEOUS! It is the perfect oceanfront view and space to relax, un-plug and just soak in the Aloha spirit! Made some wonderful friends at the nightly happy hour by the pool and hope to see them on the Big Island when we come back! Incredible experience all around and by far the BEST VRBO Condo we have ever rented~

Gateway to Paradise ❤️❤️❤️

WOW! I’m so sorry that I couldn’t leave 100 stars for this property & Debi. My wife and I spent 18 beautiful and gorgeous days here in Kona at this property. I hate to refer to Our Paradise as this property. From the time we opened the front door on August 12th until we locked up and left on August 30th we thought we had died and went to Heaven. The property is immaculate in every way from the front to the back. Ms. Debi has so many supplies for you that we only had to buy our one food and cook it at the condo or at the 4 gas grills at the pool. Debi and myself kept in touch everyday. Morning reports were so important to us because we wanted to thank her everyday. You leave your stress and problems behind as soon as you walk in and open up the door to the lanai and see that beautiful aqua marine water and waves include😂. My wife and I have already told Ms. Debi that we would be returning to this piece of Paradise. Debi, from the bottom of our hearts I want to thank you so very much. You are a GREAT Host. Vacances Big Island (Kona) Juillet '23

Nous y avons demeuré 3 nuits lors de notre passage dans la région de Kona. Très propre, bien organisé, très complet. Nous avons été charmé par la vue sur l'océan et les couchés de soleil. La piscine et les BBQ mis à notre disposition étaient très bien. Lit et divan lit confortable. Nous y retournerions sans hésité.

Wonderful property

We loved our stay here. The condo has everything you need. It was a little cozy with 2 adults and 2 teenagers, but the ground-floor lanai helps make it feel more spacious. The view and sound of the ocean are unbeatable. Our kids have slept on a lot of pullout sleeper sofas, and the air mattress on this one made it much more comfortable. Enjoyed being within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Excellent communication with our host Debi.

The Kona Reef is located within walking distance of everything in Kona. The management of this complex is very attentive to detail and the safety of all guests. The gardens, pool area and ocean front are immaculately tended. AND ... the view of the waves is spectacular from our condo -- we love counting the black and yellow Tang we see in the clear waves as they crest just steps off our lanai!

The sunsets, the fresh breezes, the glorious sunshine, the views of the waves, fish, dolphins and surfers -- all are often a distraction to the good books we are trying to read! We are able to rest and refresh and rejuvenate in our special Kona time!
Even when we have to 'work' -- sitting at the computer while on the lanai makes the 'work' much more invigorating and easier to accomplish!
