Great house with an even better location…beach access was almost directly across the street. We loved having an ocean view from the front porch. The house was incredibly clean and renter-friendly. Would absolutely stay here again!

This is one of the best properties we have stayed in and we have stayed in a lot! The place is immaculate and decorated and furnished nicely. Kitchen had everything you would need. Loved the screened in rear porch and beautiful front porchRight across from the beach right away! And Natasha was quick to answer any questions. Cannot wait to rebook.

Fabulous property and even better hosts - cleanliness of the updated house and proximity to the beach made it the perfect setting for my wife and I! We loved sitting on the front patio in the morning drinking coffee and listening to the ocean, as well as our sunset shelling walks on the beach! We will definitely return and recommend this property and the hosts 150%!!!!

Beautiful beach house steps from the water! The house was clean, the beach was super close and the host was an excellent communicator. Huge beds including a sleep number bed, great outdoor shower, far enough from businesses to have quiet but close enough to grab dinner. Sanitized bed linens and towels were a touch above.

The house was perfect for our Thanksgiving getaway. The beds were so comfortable, the house and kitchen were equipped with everything we needed and the location was perfect! We would definitely go back!

The stay was great all around. The house is perfect for a relaxing vacation only steps from the beach. We enjoyed coffee every morning from the front porch in rocking chairs watching and listening to the ocean. This end of Oak Island is less crowded and more quiet than other areas. The beach is pristine with LOTS of room. Fishing and shelling action was great too. I highly recommend staying here, we will be back.The owners are very responsive and communicate quickly on the smallest questions. The house is as described and the pictures are accurate.

This property was very clean and had great access to the beach. The owners provided beach chairs, beach wagons and a beach umbrella which were so helpful!! We loved sitting on the front porch in the evening and listening to the waves. Shopping was close by and easily accessible. The things that could be improved upon were providing more storage for groceries in the kitchen, all cabinets were full of other people’s food or everyday items. The closets had no hangers, so we couldn’t hang any clothes, and drawer space was extremely limited. The sheets and comforters were provided, but we had to make all the beds on arrival, which wasn’t fun after a very long drive to get there. This is not something we have had to do at other VRBO. The owners were very responsive and a pleasure to deal with!!

Thank you so much for your review, Karen! We truly appreciate you choosing our beach home for your vacation. I wish so much that we had known you needed more hangers. We would have delivered them promptly. Regarding "all cabinets full of other people's food", we don't allow other people to store food in the kitchen cabinets long term. The cabinets are cleaned out after each visit. You may have been referring to the one cabinet with spices and a few other essential cooking items. Our previous guests have appreciated those items. Since we don't stay in the house, I didn't think about needing extra cabinet space for food! :) As a result of your review, I'll rearrange some of the cabinets to make space for beach snacks, etc. Regarding the linens, we provided those free of charge. After Covid, our clients LOVE knowing that ALL linens are laundered after EVERY visit. Most homes on the island reuse the bedspreads multiple times without washing. We place the sanitized linens in the decorative laundry bags so our customers know they're sleeping in a clean bed. Thanks again for your feedback! I hope you will visit Oak Island again soon!!!

This home is perfect. It is just as described. Recently renovated. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Water views with beach access across the street. Home had everything you need and more. Two porches, two wagons to take to the beach, extra beach chairs, well stocked kitchen. What I really liked was the clean bedding delivered and waiting for you to put on the beds. You know what you are sleeping on.The host was very easy to contact and responded immediately. I really hope to stay here again.

Awesome place to stay!

My best friend, my baby and I spent the weekend here. The house is awesome! And so convenient to the beach and all the local eating spots! Also close to Publix. Would stay again and highly recommend!
