Welcome to Opie's Cabins. These Cozy Cabins are fully restored 100-year old Rail Road Cabins, located near the Comal River. The Comal River is within walking distance and can been seen from the deck. Texas Tubes is located next door for easy outdoor fun. Each Cabin is uniquely decorated with it's own theme. All 8 cabins are connected with a gorgeous deck, which makes reserving multiple cabins more convenient for larger parties and groups.

Each cabin sleeps 1-4 people. These Cabins have a "tiny home" style kitchen, extra linens and cooking utensils are supplied. There is no ice maker or dishwasher.

Always a great experience. The cabin has all of the basic necessities and then some. Right by the river, but still quiet. Plenty of deer randomly showing up is a bonus. This is my 5th or 6th time staying here and I plan on coming back.

Wonderful cabin!

We stayed in the Texas themed cabin, it was very cute, clean and has everything you might need. Manager was extremely helpful while booking and throughout the stay. We walked into town to the various bars or restaurants every day, great location! Would definitely stay again!

Very nice place, very nice property owner, everything was provided towels, bedding toilet pape,r paper towels, paper plates, silverware, cups, coffee, will definitely recommend and stay again. We loved it

Great location

This is the third year in a row we have stayed at these cabins for Wurstfest. Hope to continue to stay here every year. Easy walking distance to downtown and to Wurstfest. Very clean and quiet. We love staying here.

Great time on the Comal!

Fantastic host. Great location for getting on the Comal. Short walk to fabulous restaurants and bars. Cozy cabin. And perfect outdoor space for our group of 15.

Even with Covid and tubing shut down, we still had a nice vacation with a swim at Landa park and a dip in the river by the cabin. Nice place and good value for price

Birthday Getaway

This cabin was so perfect for my husband and I. The location is perfect and about a 3 minute drive to downtown New Braunfels. It is very clean and quiet. I would highly recommend this place. We are already planning our next trip!

Location!

Awesome little cabin! The location was great. We walked downtown (about a 12 min walk) and if we didn't walk, we drove. Everything was less than 5 mins away that we wanted to go to. It was a perfect weekend getaway!

Short but sweet

Only stayed 2 nights but would have stayed forever! We tubed the comal & just enjoyed the hill country air! We saw deer & birds all around our cozy cabin! The cabins are new, clean & well appointed! We felt right at home there!

Fantastic Cabin for a quick getaway - well located

We had a great weekend in one of Opie's Cabins - it is decked out with all that you might need, even if you want to cook. It's small, but the perfect size for the myself and my niece for the two nights we stayed. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot and great water pressure, and the TV had all the apps. The cabin is so well located, we could easily walk in for dinner, and we were also within 10 minutes of all the attractions in town! Would absolutely stay again, maybe even rent out all of them for a group stay.

Great spot super close to the river

This place has everything you need. A bed, shower, kitchen and a couch. Oh, and A/C. Walking distance from the river. I recommend to bring your own tube so you don't have to stand in line. Great for group if you can grab a few cabins. There is a picnic table to gather at, but your own place to retire to. I stayed here twice and plan on doing it again next year.

Perfect little cabins!

We came for a family float trip, we rented 4 of the 8 cabins. These are the perfect little places to stay. Everyone has their own space but can still be close. They were exactly as pictured and very clean. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. Any concerns we had were taken care of immediately. These cabins are right up the hill from Texas tubes which is super convenient. We had a great time!
