Cool old home in a great location! Nice, quiet, walkable neighborhood. The place had everything we needed for a nice stay. We appreciated how pet-friendly our hosts were - right down to the cookie jar of dog goodies!

The property was clean and as advertised. The Host was unbelievably responsive to any and all questions during the process - A. If you read the property description, they tried to thoroughly explain any potential check-in challenges. We could really tell that the Host takes pride in the property. Everything was themed and had character. You want a Host that really cares about their property. This one does for sure. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

We had wonderful stay, the property was just as described. Communication was great and the house had a nice homey feel to it. The place was clean, spacious and in a quiet neighborhood. We absolutely loved it!

Great stay

We had an amazing time at this property. The location was great for canal Park/61 and to get around Duluth. The host was amazing and had great ideas for things to do. Was a perfect landing spot to make the most out of our trip!

Note that Google maps takes you to back of the house into what barely looks like an alley. The location is great! The house is as pictured, very cute and cozy. The neighborhood was quiet. There is one dog next door that barks when you enter the front door but seemed to be mostly quiet and we are very intolerant of barking dogs. We stayed in early June so it was neither hot or cold out. If it is summer and you require air conditioning this might not be your best option since the bedrooms are upstairs and window units are needed. No ceiling fans but there are box fans. We did not cook at the house so can't comment on the appliances or well supplied it was. Host is very kind and easy to reach quickly. We would rent here again.

Thank you for your nice review! We do have a ceiling fan in the downstairs dining/living room area and there are window air conditioners too! We had one in the living room and one in the Badger room. If a fan is set up in the Badger room facing the hallway the whole upstairs is cool on the rare hot days. Since we are by the lake, typically a fan pointing out in a window will cool the whole house. I lived there for 10 years and am very heat intolerant.

July 2025

We had a great stay. Hosts were amazing, informative, and in contact with us answering any questions we had prior to and during our stay. Plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 kids. Location was great for getting around Duluth. Would stay here again.
