Aloha and welcome to the Hale Anna, Maui. The Hale Anna is a beautiful, private home located across a quiet street from miles of sandy beach. This home is a legal grandfathered vacation rental with the Maui County Department of Planning. The vacation rental is located on the upper floor of a two-story home with ocean and territorial views, including Haleakala. This rental has three bedrooms and a swimming pool. The home will comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests (including children).

The house has 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom contains a standard king bed, the second bedroom has a California king bed, and the third bedroom has 2 twin-size beds. The main living area is open and contains a fully stocked kitchen, dining room, and living room. Large decks face the ocean and Haleakala, plus contain an outdoor eating area with stainless BBQ. You can watch the sun both rise and set. AC is installed in the main living area (which includes the third bedroom) and 2 back bedrooms.

There is an amazing private pool and deck. There is ample seating and lounge chairs. The deck has been finished with beautiful TREX decking.

The home is located in a residential neighborhood. This property is perfect for families. The quiet hours on Maui County are from 9pm - 8am, this home is not a party home but perfect for families.

*** IMPORTANT PROPERTY NOTES***

-Maximum occupancy is 6 guests (including children).

-QUIET HOURS ARE FROM 9PM-8AM (POOL HOURS 9AM-8PM): The Hale Anna is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and guests must be aware and respectful of neighboring properties at all times. Noise carries at night and although guests are on vacation, our neighbors are not. Please be sure that ALL the members of your group are aware of the quiet hours and will be able to comply BEFORE booking this property.

The home is fully equipped, and you will enjoy the on-site caretakers that live in the separate caretaker apartment on the first floor of the home!

Wonderful, clean accommodations with everything you need. Amber and Jeremy were wonderful hosts—ready and willing to help if needed. Very close to the beach in a wonderful location. Couldn’t be happier.

Great stay

The place was as advertised. Clean and spacious. Pool was secluded and private. Tons of cooking items. Tons of beach towels. Beach chairs. Air conditioning worked great. Very quiet neighbourhood. If you’re up late this is not the place for you. Great for families. Would totally stay here again. Turtles on the beach at sunset. Amber and jeremy very welcoming. What more can you ask for? It’s perfect. Michael.

Best vacation by far

This property with its three bedrooms was perfect for my wife and me and our two adult children. The house is beautiful, up-to-date, and clean. It was such a pleasant and soothing place to stay. The neighborhood is so peaceful and quiet (and yet many shops and restaurants are conveniently close by), and I loved sitting out on the front deck every morning with my coffee, taking in the view and enjoying the sounds of the birds. From the back veranda, you can watch the sun come up over Haleakala. The private pool area in the back is every bit as enjoyable as you would expect and the owner keeps the pool very clean. We had a lot of fun barbecuing on the front deck as well. The beach is very close and every evening just after sunset, many turtles come ashore to rest on the beach. This place was truly an amazing home away from home. If you want to do your Maui vacation right, stay here. Highly recommend.

Kihei House

We had a fantastic time staying at the Kihei house. Our kids loved having their own pool and we spent hours out there everyday. The house was in a great location, everything was very clean and well taken care of. The host was very responsive when we messaged. Overall a great place to stay!

Truly magical!

If you are scrolling through homes and wondering where in Maui to stay and which home to choose…I would definitely recommend you stop now and book Amber and Jeremy’s place if it’s available. The location in Kihei is just perfect - there’s so much you can walk to (including Nalu’s, which has live music and my vote for best poke bowl, and trust me - I did the work). But having the water views and the beach right across the road is amazing. We would walk over to watch the sunset, and were treated to getting to watch literally 2 dozen sea turtles make their way out of the water onto the sand under a starry sky. The neighborhood is so green and lush and the property is beautifully landscaped. And the POOL! My kids spent hours in and around this gorgeous area. The house is sparkling clean, spacious, and full of light. It’s even better than the photos - high quality appliances, beautiful finishes, and modern spaces. Amber and Jeremy have thought of absolutely everything and make it so, so easy. The house has everything you need and a lot you didn’t know you needed but actually did! The only downside of this home is having to leave. If we are lucky enough to visit beautiful Maui again one day, I would 100% want to stay here.

Lovely location and perfect for families

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. It has everything. Very clean and location is ideal. Short walks to close restaurants and parks. We found drives to North, South, West, and Central Maui appropriate and not too long. Beautiful yard and pool. Jeremy and Amber were great host. We enjoyed sunsets on the balcony every evening. We highly recommend and will return in future.

The perfect place to stay!

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was spacious and comfortable - perfect for our family of 5. There are gorgeous views from the front (where you can see and hear the ocean!) and the back (where you can enjoy sunrises over the mountain). The beach is even closer than I had realized, and we loved walking there every evening to watch the sunset and the turtles that come to shore. The pool area is beautiful as well. All in all, this was the perfect place for our family’s Maui vacation!

Another great vacation

My wife and I just enjoyed our third visit to this property, and once again it is was just perfect. This property is a gem. The hosts are great and we will keep going back. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Time in Kihei

We enjoyed our stay at Amber and Jeremy's place. They were able to accommodate an early check in and we were very comfortable for our 1 week stay and enjoyed the pool and beach nearby. We hope to return soon.

A Slice of Paradise!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful Kihei home. There were views from every window—Haleakala (out back), corridor views of the ocean (in front) and tropical plants from all other windows. The beach was a super short walk down the road and it was a great place to spot turtles during the day and watch the sunset in the evening. The place was immaculate, and Amber was super responsive. I’d definitely stay again.

YOU WON'T REGRET STAYING HERE!!!

All I can say is WOW!!! Top notch, high quality property that is better than the photos. Comfy beds, endless amenities for the kitchen and bathrooms (LOTS of QUALITY towels & mugs), ample storage for you to feel at home, great water pressure in the shower, wonderful BBQ, the pool area is beyond your wildest dreams, and it takes less than 3 minutes to walk to a beautiful sand beach. I recommend going there for Sunset every day to watch the families of turtles come us to the beach. So cool!!! Amber is an excellent host with prompt responses. You feel like you're in a private home and you wouldn't even know there is a family under you!!! Loved by all. Had myself and my 2 boys (1 and 3 year old), my parents (in their 60s), and my sister (mid 30s). If you have the chance to book this property, I can assure you that you won't regret it.

Wonderful Vacay Getaway

Staying at this vacation rental was an absolute delight! The host was incredibly gracious and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location couldn't have been better – it was ideal and central to all the major activities on the island, allowing us to explore with ease. The rental itself was clean and just the right size for our family of three, providing a cozy and comfortable space for our stay. Perfect stay in Maui

The house and the pool area is absolutely amazing. The house is next to thr beach where you can swim and watch the turtles coming out every evening. The appartement is very well equipet and Amber and her family are very nice host. Would come again.

Maui Paradise

Vacationed with our two kids and my father. Absolutely amazing place to stay. We’ve stayed in many rentals and this one takes the cake by far. You’re lucky to rent it if you get the chance. Well stocked, clean, close to everything including beaches, restaurants and grocery stores. Phenomenal hosts, private and beautiful setting, pool was amazing and the beach walks were beautiful. Thanks for having us and can’t wait to return sometime!

Another amazing vacation…

This was our second stay at the Hale Anna, and it certainly won’t be our last. Once again, the property was perfect. During this stay, another couple joined us, and the house offered plenty of room for our group of four adults. You can’t beat the location and the amenities. The pool is fantastic and completely private. The beach is great, especially during sunset. It was so nice having beach chairs, coolers and umbrellas available for use during the days that we spent exploring other parts of the island. Amber and Jeremy are great hosts, and it’s nice to have them close by for help/recommendations, etc. We look forward to booking this property again sometime soon. Highly recommended!

Lovely beach town property

A great location!!

Best Location for a Family

We were delightfully surprised with this place, how clean and new it all was, and how convenient the location is. We have a teenager, middle schoolers and a toddler. There are so many beaches within a 15 minute drive that can cater to all of their beach styles, big waves for body surfing, calm beaches for the little one and ones in the middle which worked great for everyone. Right across the street is a beach with amazing turtle watching and best sunsets on Maui. Thank you to Amber and Jeremy for hosting such a lifetime of a vacation for us.

So lovely! The property is immaculate, the pool area picture perfect. A beautiful beach right across the street, perfect for sunsets. Super close to an awesome restaurant, shops and outdoor market! Beds were cozy, house was well stocked. Plenty of towels for our family of 5. Basically every detail has been well thought out. If you are lucky enough to book this rental, do it. We are pretty particular, and this home exceeded expectations.

Everything you want and more

This was a vacation of a lifetime for us and I desperately wanted everything to be perfect. I looked at so many housing options and I can tell you that you can stop looking now, this is perfection. The home is immaculate and even better than pictured. The pool is beautiful and well maintained and gives you privacy that you won’t find at a condo or hotel. Amber and Jeremy are on site to help but not at all intrusive. There are plenty of beach towels, chairs and toys. As others have said, the kitchen is well stocked! The beach across the street is amazing to watch the sun set though it is very rocky so be sure to bring water shoes if you plan on using it as a swimming spot. Absolutely recommend!

Great house

The Hale Anna house was just perfect for our family of 5. The house was well stocked with everything we needed & more. I wasn’t sure how much we’d use the pool but we found ourselves spending quite a few late afternoons in it. We were very happy during our stay! Amber and Jeremy were so nice and always quick to answer any questions.

Family of 6 trip of a lifetime!

What can I say about this incredible property and hosts?! The home is literally equipped as if it is your very own home. The kitchen has everything you could want/need to cook, grill, drink coffee in the AM and mix up Pina Colada's in PMs. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the entire property is IMMACULATE, inside and out. The private pool was an amazing bonus that few other properties offer. The grounds were lush and well kept. And Kihei is close enough to Wailea and Lahaina so you can go shop, eat and beach hop but quiet enough to not feel crowded The hosts Amber & Jeremy were friendly and offered great suggestions but also provide privacy that makes the home feel as if you are the only ones there. We would recommend this property to anyone and will definitely book this again if we return to Maui. Thank you Amber & Jeremy!

Wonderful vacation home

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this house. my husband and I brought our teen boys and my mom. Easy process the whole way through. The house was supplied with everything we needed. Beach chairs, towels, umbrella and cooler for the beach. Private pool was amazing. Amber and Jeremy were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Would definitely use this house again!

Aloha! We are the Peterson family! This amazing home was purchased in the late 70's by our family. We have been running the upstairs unit as a vacation rental for over 30+ years. A member of our family has been lucky enough to call the separate downstairs caretaker unit home the entire time. For the last 16 years my husband (Jeremy) and I (Amber) have lived on the property and don't have any plans of every leaving. Jeremy is a local contractor and I am a property manager. We love living on Maui and sharing a piece of our paradise!

The home and property have been meticulously maintained over the years. Most guests say "the photos don't do it justice"! The private pool and spacious upstairs are perfect for a Maui getaway. The location is amazing as well. The beach access is just across the quiet residential street. The beach is great for morning and sunset walks. You can walk in either direction for miles... and most visits you will be lucky to see Honu (sea turtles) resting on shore. Also less than a 5 minute walk you are in the Azeka Shopping Centers. There are many great restaurants and shops, including Nalu's South Shore Grill with amazing food and evening live music.
