Tranquil villa just steps from the beach!

Our Windswept Villa is located just a short walk down the path from Kiawah's world-renowned, 10 mile-long beach! The setting is tranquil, and very "Kiawah". We love the beauty of the coastal shingle-styled buildings nestled in the natural setting that draws most of us to Kiawah Island in the first place, and has captured our hearts forever. We enjoy stepping out each morning with a cup of coffee for a walk along the beach. Later in the day we can take our beach chairs and a book and relax next to the ocean. At some point each day we hop on bikes to explore the island along the miles of bike paths that wind through the forest and past amazing seaside cottages, and architecturally stunning mansions. We love that we are not rushed. We know to take our time and enjoy the peacefulness and beauty of the island for our short time here. There are no crowds EVER. Even over the busiest holidays, we are pleasantly surprised by how few people are sharing our little vacation experience. There is no other place like it! License # RBL20-000232

The walk to the beach was much easier than I anticipated. The unit was simple and quaint. We had everything we needed in the unit….even beach towels, 2 beach chairs and an umbrella. We rented bikes and it was well worth it. The owner communicated great with us and checkin was a breeze.

We loved our stay in this villa on Kiawah island! just steps from the beach. The layout was so nice and comfortable. We appreciated the decor & cleanliness and having everything we needed to cook. We'd love to stay in this spot again someday.

The villa was beautiful and clean and cosey and so close to the beach I could hear it. I will definately stay here again. Loved sitting on the covered balcony after a day at the beach and looking down to see deers grazing out front. We visit Kiawah every few years and meet up with family......and look forward to booking again hopefully very soon and staying in this beautiful villa.

This property was so perfect for my family’s trip to Kiawah (myself, husband and five year old). The location is ideal - It is steps to the beach and super short bike ride (3 mins) / walk (6 min) to The Nest area which has all the kids activities. It is right on the bike trails and a walk/ride to The Sanctuary. The condo was super clean, so well stocked - it had everything you need for your vacation. Communication was easy and clear - the owners were so helpful throughout the week. Anne and Tom, the owners, have obviously put a lot of thought into the place to make it comfortable for guests. My son will always remember our long bike rides and ghost crab hunts. Can’t recommend this property enough for your Kiawah holiday - we will certainly be back!

The pictures do not do this place justice. Steps from the beach, amazing community, and wonderful people. Tom and Anne were the best hosts we’ve had in our travels. If you are considering it, just do it, you will not be let down. The villa was spotless, super accommodating, and nicer than we imagined. We will definitely be back again this summer!!

We had a wonderful 3 night stay. Tom was so helpful in his communication and quick responses. The Villa was perfect for two people, kitchen well equipped, plenty of towels and a super comfortable king bed. We loved the ease of getting to the beach, very short walk. If you can bring your own bikes or rent some as there are well over 30 miles of trails. We will definitely be back to stay at Tom and Anne’s wonderful beach villa.

We had a nice stay in Tom’s beautiful villa. The property was exactly as described and well-appointed. I love all the vintage and antique decor. Tom responded immediately to my messages. We didn’t get there until almost midnight, and Tom waited for my response letting him know we were in. It was a short walk to the beautiful beach. We enjoyed going to Beachwalk and watching the dolphins strand feed. That was really interesting. Thank you Tom & Kathy for sharing your beautiful home!

We have been vacationing on Kiawah for more than 20 years. After visiting many "typical" vacation communities with my family over the years, we discovered the unique vacation experience of Kiawah in 1998, and fell in love. Although we live in Omaha, NE, we have been coming here ever since.
We have 4 children, and we stay in a 3 bedroom Night Heron Cottage when we come as a family. We bought this villa in 2018 and rented it to guests through the Kiawah Island Resort for the past 2 years. However, we found that the resort management did not provide a high enough level of vacation experience for our guests, to justify the inflated prices charged. We want our guests to feel that they have a wonderful vacation, as well as a good value. So...we have taken over control! We hope to have many happy guests who want to come back to Kiawah year after year like we do!
