We're located 10 minutes from the village of Mendocino, Big River Beach, Mendocino Woodlands and Mendocino Headlands. Located in a quiet lush setting of Redwoods, and wild Rhododendrons adjacent to Jackson State Forest.
The cottage has one bedroom and bathroom and the living area includes a full kitchen. Quiet and secluded. Located on a paved private lane away from traffic.

We’ve stayed here four or five times over the past few years and LOVE IT. Ron and Debbie are excellent hosts and communicators about everything . So peaceful and quiet, yet very close to town. Perfect for a couple and dog!

The cabin was comfortable and cozy. We had a nice fire with wood supplied b the owners. We did have some problems with the pilot on the heater but the fire kept us nice and warm. Ronald was quick to respond to our pilot issue and made sure we were well supplied with wood. It was so quiet and serene. Very enjoyable!

Ronald and Deborah are excellent hosts. They have a beautiful remote forest property that's only a few minutes from town, and the cottage is delightful. It is very well appointed and was spotless when we arrived. The bed is comfy, kitchen well-stocked, and there is a really sweet bay window seat in the living room. The outdoor spaces are peaceful and quiet, it's lovely to sit out on the deck and just read. It's also quite dog friendly, the road is off the main road and it's a great place to walk a dog. I would highly recommend anyone staying in Mendocino to choose this spot, it's well worth it. Thanks for a great stay Ronald and Deborah!

Beautiful, very well maintained property. Could not be more perfect for a stay in the Mendocino area. Convenient to town but far enough away for total silence. Cooked almost every day and had a washer dryer so we didn’t have to pack as much. Very comfortable and peaceful.

This was our 3rd stay at this lovely Mendocino cottage. As with our prior stays, our stay was great (and peaceful). We could not recommend a place more highly.

Nice and calm forest retreat

A quiet spot in the woodlands, the cabin is nice and tidy, and a comfy base for exploring Mendocino coastline or hiking the back country.

The cottage is exactly as the pictures portray. It’s perfect for a couple.

Cozy Cabin in the Redwoods

The cabin is in a beautiful redwood forest, yet it's only 4 miles from the town of Mendocino. It has multiple skylights and picture windows that provide amazing views of the forest and keep the place bright. It is immaculate with a well stocked kitchen and a very comfortable bed!

We absolutely loved our stay. The cabin is in the redwoods outside of Mendocino. If you’re looking for a peaceful and serene getaway look no further. The hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating.

Great stay near Mendo

Excellent property in the redwoods. Nice and secluded but short jaunt into Mendocino. Very clean with all the amenities you would want. We enjoyed the fireplace on a cool rainy evening. Would stay in same place if we are in the area. Hosts were excellent in alerting us to temporary road closures due to weather.

Mendocino Cottage Review

My wife and I had a wonderful 1 week stay. This was our 5th 1 week stay here. We just love being in the redwoods and enjoying their beauty. It is so peaceful and quiet. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything you need. It's located about 5 miles from Mendocino. We highly recommend it!
