Behind a garden gate, through your private entrance is a bright quiet cozy retreat. This spotless eco-friendly studio has a comfy Queen Bed with Luxury Linens, "Life Source" Whole - House filtered water System, and is cleaned with organic products.

Remodeled Tuckaway's hand-hewn hickory floors and oriental carpets are just some of the examples of our attention to detail.New Granite counters in kitchen & bath with all new fixtures & stone floor in bath.

Come and be enchanted in the landscaped gardens with covered sitting bench that are very private. The gardens include a lit fountain, Over 1,200 sq. ft. of Custom Inlaid Brick Patio with Ocean & Beach Views. Custom Wood/Gas Raised Brick Fire pit, Teak Lounges and a settee to enjoy in the sun or evenings with native plants and well placed low voltage lighting casting a special glow. Fenced in private yard for you and your pet!

The property was amazing! The yard was extremely spacious and was great for our dogs to run around. The location of the home is perfect as it is right off the Route 1, but far enough so there is no noise pollution. Additionally, it is just minutes away from downtown Carmel and nearby shopping plazas. Check-in was a breeze and the room and bed was the perfect size for me, my wife, and my 2 dogs.

Amazing spot!

The plicate patio was to die for! Calm, quiet, and peaceful. A tranquil getaway. It felt private from the main house. Bill was very helpful and met us at check in to show us the keys and give us a tour.

Such an amazing experience. Bill was very hands on and was quick to answer any questions. The place was very clean and cozy and was located in a beautiful neighborhood not far from Carmel. We enjoyed our stay very much. We are already planning our next visit!!

Carmel Hideaway

Cozy hills hideaway in the Carmel-by-the-Sea area. Perfect for the two of us, and the listing was exactly as pictured. Lovely grounds/landscaping/views to enjoy, and easy access for everything we wanted to do in the area. Bill (host) gave us great recommendations for restaurants, etc., and was very thorough during the check-in process.

Cozy and Relaxing! Such an awesome spot

Stayed for 4 nights and had an absolutely wonderful time. Bill was super friendly, knowledgeable, and communicative. He made us feel very welcome! He showed us everything his place had to offer and the firepit was such an awesome touch- really enjoyed it.

Great Location, Great host

This property is a gem and in a great location. The view, large patio and grounds are amazing. I brought my two dogs, and the property great for dogs. The host was very responsive and wonderful, he even shipped me the Stanley cup I accidently left there. I would definitely recommend this place.

Carmel Getaway

Superior property - central to everything in Carmel & surroundings. High quality sheets, towels and Beautiful gardens & views out to the sea & beach. Wonderful property for us and our dogs. Great care & thought given to the property by the owner. We are in our 80s...and my balance isn't the best after foot surgery, so the entrance to the front door down a gradual slope with small steps and no hand rails was a little concerning for me. But, overall, the studio with fenced-in garden is surely the best you'll find in Carmel in VRBO. Thanks, Bill. From Mickie, Doug, Kirby & Toby.

Peaceful Getaway

Gorgeous property, kind host. Wanted to do a weekend getaway for some peace and quiet. That is exactly what we got. The property was immaculate and allowed for soulful rest. Bill, the host, is friendly and kind. Ours was a brief stay, but memorable. Highly recommend staying here if you are considering it.

Great stay in Beautiful Carmel!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. Bill was a great host. The studio was very comfortable and the grounds were just beautiful! Although we were busy in Carmel, it was nice to sit on the patio and enjoy some cheese and wine.

Beautiful and cozy

This is our 4th time staying at one of Bill's properties (Atherton Cottage previously). This was our first time staying in this studio cottage. It was all absolutely stunning, especially the outside grounds. It's all so impressive, thoughtfully designed and so peaceful. Bill makes sure everything is set up in the house and extremely comfortable. Great communication ahead of time too! Thanks, Bill!

There is also a designated off street parking space for the 'Tuckaway' All of this and close to Downtown Carmel-By-The-Sea!
