We enjoyed our stay very much. The fenced back yard was definitely a plus! Evelyn was very responsive to all of my questions. A short walk to the beach and very convenient for shopping. We will definitely consider staying here again!

We loved the property!! It was clean and spacious. Our host was great, she was on top of everything we had questions about and resolved them immediately. We would love to stay here again. The location was very convenient and most of the activities we engaged in were within walking distance. We highly recommend this house.

My family had a great visit to Oak Island. This property was clean, walking to beach was easy. We had a few minor issues with the property, but the host was extremely helpful getting them resolved. It is a great house for families with dogs.

Beautiful Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay! The house was well stocked, we found everything we needed. The host was quick to respond, and the location of the house was great! We definitely recommend this house :)

Everything was very clean and the the owners were very helpful when needed! The house was in a great location and not a far walk from the beach at all. We had a phenomenal time staying here!

Wonderful stay!

This home was perfect for our first Oak Island family vacation. Short walk to the beach, nature center, playground, and grocery store. Everyone, including the pups, had a great visit! Thank you, Evelyn, for sharing your home.

Wonderful Vacation!

We had such a nice experience staying at Tranquil Harbor. The house is lovely, with plenty of room and beautiful decor! The beds were very comfortable and the street was very quiet. The house and kitchen had everything we needed! We hope to stay again in October this year!

This was the perfect fully stocked home for my trip and dogs, and we will definitely book again! Everything we needed at the house was provided, and essentials and fun were within walking distance - shopping, food, the beach all minutes away. The hosts have everything you could possibly need for a beach trip. (Which was great...I didn't have to worry about packing anything aside from beach towels and the essentials) We encountered a family emergency requiring all of us to come down in a hurry including our two large dogs. I was certain finding a rental that could accommodate the dogs, and my family, at the last minute, on a holiday week would be next to impossible. Right from the start with my booking inquiry, communication was absolutely amazing. All of my questions were answered quickly and we were able to get the exact dates that I needed. Everything that we needed was provided in the kitchen,smart tvs in every room, and it was very dog friendly. The yard has a large 6 ft fence around most of the perimeter. (The only heads up I would give fellow big dog owners, the small gate from the front porch to the main entrance was only about 3 feet tall, and my dog easily went over it. Thankfully he's a bit of a mama's boy so he didn't go far. THANK YOU Evelyn for sharing your wonderful home! (Photos are the lighting storm from the beach, a local driftwood sculpture, the night view of stars from the backyard hammock, and one of my dogs enjoying the backyard)

One of Oak Island's Best!

Excellent location, extremely clean and well maintained.Had an enjoyable week of beach fun on Oak Island. With such a close location we were able to walk back mid-day and then return to the beach later. The home is a great space with awesome front deack, screened in porch and large fenced back yard. Ample space for everyone to spread out and just hang out. 5-star property!

Excellent, relaxing stay!

This was a dream house for our family - there was so much space that we never felt like we were on top of each other, but there were plenty of spaces for us to all be together too. The distance from the beach was ideal, and it’s close to everything you need on the island. Check in, check out, and communication throughout were a breeze! This quickly became one of our favorite stays.

Another wonderful stay

After staying last summer, we were so excited to return and feel at home. We noticed a few updates, which were terrific, and we had everything we needed: well-stocked kitchen, awesome location, beach chairs & wagon for the farmer's market. Loved it!
