We loved staying at this beautiful beach home! It is a nice vacation location, very clean, and just steps from the beach. We love the area. The home is well furnished and the host is wonderful. We hope to come back to this location.

We were very happy with this beach house. Host was responsive and helpful, home was clean, and all essentials we needed were provided in the kitchen. Great location to walk to the beach. We enjoyed the outdoor space as well, especially sitting on the front porch. We hope to visit again!

Just got back from a family vacation. This house was perfect. So close to the beach. New gas grill which came in handy. Host had the house so clean and even left a goody tray that the kids and adults loved. Our dog was welcome too.

If you want to be close to the beach but don't want to pay for first row, this is the place for you. We brought our beach wagon to haul our stuff. Saves the weekly parking permit required to use public parking near the beach. Short drive to grocery store, beach shops, jungle golf, restaurants, etc. Far enough away to be quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to be convenient.Host communication was excellent. Our family had a great time. Very relaxing. Hope to stay again next year!

This house has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were clean, house instructions were short and clear, and everything worked. The host was sweet and kind when we had any questions. As a person who has vacationed at Oak Island for years at different houses, this has been our #1 spot and will book again!

The house was a perfect size for pur group. However it stayed very hot in the house while we were there. The rooms need better covering on the windows and the ac may need to be updated. The one bath tub would fill up with water while taking a shower, so the drain may need to be cleaned out to help with drainage. The host was available when I called her or messaged.

Thank you for your feedback Kelly. The unit is two years old and this summer has been super hot. It is doing all it can with the heat wave that we are experiencing this summer. I have a ceiling fan as well as a stand alone fan in each room. It is a piling house so the heat circulates all around. I’m sorry about the tub. I have added drain cleaner that was under the kitchen sink to that tub. I do feel like your rating also has a little to do with the pet fee that I required after you left. It was an emergency and I allowed the three dogs to come. There was extra cleaning that had to take place. I felt the rate for one dog was fare for three.

Great house. Very clean. Couldn't figure out the ice-maker but everything else worked well. There were even k-cups for the Keurig.

Very comfortable home to stay in for the week with family! Convenient access to the beach! Unfortunately the sheets and towels were not provided so we had to purchase them after arrival. The grill could be replaced as it has seen better days. We will be back to Oak Island in the future, however I think we would look for a rental that also offers a pool!

Layout was great, easy beach access, house had everything we needed other than sheets and towels (the listing was clear that we needed to bring those items). Place was nice and clean. Only negative was that the AC made a loud boom when it turned on and that woke us up - probably only a problem if you're a light sleeper. So glad were able to find a nice place that was dog friendly
