Coral Breeze is the ideal setting if you're looking to get away from it all and enjoy some quiet beach time with the whole family, including your dog. Set just six houses back from the beach, you'll love the peace and tranquility of the Coral Breeze beach house. This 3BR/2BA single story, pet-friendly, home comfortably sleeps 10 with a king bed in the master, queen bed in the second bedroom, two sets of twin bunk beds in the third bedroom, and a queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room.

Interior appointments: fully-equipped kitchen, wireless internet, 3 TVs, charcoal grill on the property, washer and dryer, and high-end cotton linens.

The home is pet friendly for an additional non-refundable pet fee of $106 (dogs ONLY & certain restrictions apply).

***Please note that this section of Fort Morgan regularly floods when the area experiences heavy rainfalls. The Coral Breeze house is one of the lowest points on the street and is a flood hazard when flash-flooding-type rains occur.***

Great Getaway

The location to the beach is wonderful. It was less than a minute walk and the beach is more private and secluded than areas of downtown. Our family travels with dogs, so pet friendly is a major plus! They also do not require atronomical deposit fees. It is about a 30 minute drive to the Hangout and other popular attractions but we were fine with that.

We loved our time at Coral Breeze! The home was clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen had almost everything we needed to cook at home, the water was hot and the a/c was cold; I don’t have any complaints! Great place to relax and only steps from the beach.

Needs some general upkeep

Overall, the house is nice and good location. But there are many issues that keep the house from being a great experience. The house is lacking general maintenance and upkeep that would have made the stay much nicer. Several light bulbs (in key areas like bathroom vanity) were burned out, there is no under house lighting except for motion light that goes out after a minute, the porch light is hanging on by wires and is twisted sideways, there are telephone wires just hanging from ceiling in dining room, several shutters are missing but they are laying under house, the BBQ grill that is advertised as an amenity is the cheapest little grill you can buy but it is broken and rusted, curtain rods are pulled from wall and barely holding on, and the dryer made a very loud screeching sound. The overall feel of the area beneath the house was dirty including the large amount of broken beach toys. The beds were good, some new living room furniture, great deck furniture and the AC was great. For the price, I would expect a little more attention to detail.

Location was Great!

Although it’s a little ways from gulf shores and orange beach… it’s perfect as the beach is not packed and within walking distance. The house was clean and checking in was easy! We plan to stay again.

The house was just as described. It’s it a short walk to the beach and centrally located. It was perfect for our 3 family stay. The parking area floods and it had been raining so we pulled up to ankle deep water in the parking area. To be fair the description clearly states that the home is the first to flood. There were other houses nearby with other families and everyone was very friendly. Our kids all played together. I would definitely recommend this place.

Great house, perfect location!

The house had plenty of space to spread out and the kids loved the bunk room. The house was very clean and beds were super comfortable. This is our favorite neighborhood to stay when we come to fort Morgan. Dog friendly is a bonus. I would love to stay here again!

Coral Breeze

The location of the property was great. Within walking distance of the beach. Cleanliness was subpar. Floors, walls, doors, and even the dishes were dirty. I had to wash dishes before using them. Property management company should probably do some follow up with their cleaning company after they clean. I have stayed at much cleaner and better properties in the area over the last 10 years.

Family friendly

This was the second time staying at this property for us. The house has everything we needed and is very clean. There is plenty of space and it is extremely convenient to the beach. It rained on this trip and the flooding does happen under the house. This information is mentioned in the listing but the water does not drain and makes it difficult to access anything under the house. Over all, we love this property and would come back. The flooding issue definitely needs to be addressed since rain is frequent.

Beach and Gulf Fun

Nice place. Bedrooms and bathrooms were suitable for our needs. Clean but lacking in some amenities and cleaning items for us to use for spills, etc. Had to buy a broom to sweep up sand that we tracked in. No rugs to wipe our feet on, just one exterior mat. Fortunately we had a large beach towel that we sacrificed and put down inside the front door. We really liked the covered deck which keeps the hot sun off the front door. House is close to the beach. We like the location in Fort Morgan. Less car traffic and no crowding on the beach. We would consider renting again if it had a few more essentials. We shouldn’t have to bring rugs, a broom, or cleaning rags from home.

A 1 minute walk to the beach

We love staying in the ft Morgan area because it is usually not as populated! Pros to property: - 1 minute walk to the beach, bring a wagon so you don’t have to carry all your beach gear! - quiet road, has a Tacky Jacks restaurant less than a minute down the road - large rooms with beds that are pretty comfortable -DOG FRIENDLY!!! A biggie for us! Cons: - washer made an awful noise anytime we used it, rattled the whole house and could hear it from outside. This happened even with small loads?? - nails in stairs that were a hazard, my husband ended up hammering some back in so we didn’t get hurt. - quick walk to the beach is mostly road, gets very hot and immediate sand is just as bad. Only a problem if you are like us and refused to wear shoes to the beach. - we did have someone in a badged car (maybe rental group) that stopped by while we were on the porch and clearly took pictures of us from the driveway, did not introduce himself. This made us fairly uncomfortable. - the charcoal grill advertised has seen better days, almost seemed unusable so we bought a cheap one Overall the house was a good experience, even with the cons we would rent this house again

Awesome spring getaway

This house was absolutely amazing! It’s so close to the (non-crowded) beach, and we loved being able to walk home for a quick nap before going back out in the afternoon. Everything was as-advertised and clean/up-to-date. Our only issue was that the house would get hot sometimes (maybe an air conditioner issue?), but things never got unbearable, and there were fans installed to help balance it out. Overall, a great house, and we would 100% book again!

Not what we thought

When we checked into the home we found several light fixtures missing bulbs (not burned out but missing). Then when using the bathroom, we found the fans not working. And the furnace ran 24/7 - would not shut off. They agency fixed these issues a week later. The house is in fair (not good) condition. Here's some examples: 1. Spotlight below the home does not work 2. You have to plug in an old house light which has to be against code - especially when there is standing water below the house when it rains 3. A lot of loose cabinet doors and knobs 4. Mildew in the bathroom shower (curtain and caulking) 5. There are many nails popped up on the decking (tripped on one) 6. AC did not work 6. And yes it does flood below the home as other have pointed out. (This was added to the listing after we rented). There are many better homes in the fort morgan area. We will not be back

Great location! Property needs attention!

This property is so close to the beach, 5 minute walk! It’s clean for an older house and the pictures are pretty accurate from the listing. The wooden stairs need some attention, there was a nail sticking out of one of the stairs and overall they are not well maintained. Additionally, the driveway needs attention. We received a half day of rain while there and the driveway flooded about 2-3 feet of water. It stayed that way for over 24 hours and did not drain. The neighbors next door said this happens every single time it rains to this driveway, time to fix it! Other than those issues, we really enjoyed the house and the location!

Water logged cottage

Don't stay here until they address the flooding issue .The area under the house and the driveway floods with ANY rain, gets 6" deep, and doesn't drain, making unloading, going up the stairs or using anything under the house impossible. It's slimy and muddy as the water recedes. We stayed 12 days and for 10 of them had water and we had mud, slime and debris the entire time. We talked to folks staying next door who had seen this on a previous trip a year ago. This isn't an unusual occurrence . There are 25 houses on this street alone and no other houses on this street or on multiple other streets have this kind of flooding problem. Further, it's clear that no one has ever cleaned up the mud and debris after the water recedes and since there is no drainage, you can't hose off beach gear or sandy dog feet since you'll be in mud and create more flooding. The property owner is well aware of this and needs to do drainage mitigation. The other issues with the house were minor, like not having hot pads or a vacuum and those wouldn't merit mentioning if it weren't for the flooding which seriously impacted our trip. My husband had them bring a pump out and a push broom to try to move some water and make some usable space underneath.. This is not what we should have to do on vacation and he spent hours dealing with this. The management company was responsive and tried to assist but there wasn't a lot they could do. This house should not be in a rental program until this is addressed. I see the property listing now mentions the flooding but it needs to be clear just how serious it is so rent at your own peril.

Fort Morgan 2021

The house was perfect for us. Plenty of room and basically had everything we needed. Our only obstacle was due to mother nature. Before our arrival there were heavy rains in the area which let us with about six inches of water in the driveway and underneath the house. We will definitely be renting this property again. Short walk to the beach, pet friendly and we loved the covered front in the afternoon.

BEST LITTLE NEIGHBORHOOD AROUND

LET ME START BY SAYING OUR STAY WAS CUT SHORT BC OF HURRICANE IDA, BUT THIS HOUSE AND ALL THE WONDERFUL NEIGHBORS WAS THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!! I CAN NOT WAIT TO RESCHEDULE AT CORAL BREEZE AND ENJOY A NICE RELAXING BEACH STAY AT THIS WONDERFUL HOUSE IN PARADISE!!!
