Ah, Catalina, the one that started it all. This is the original beach cottage that Steve and Becky Harris first purchased in 1983. Graced with seemingly endless gulf and beachfront views, Catalina is the ultimate tropical paradise in Gulf Shores. Whether you're gazing out from the breezy comfort of the covered front deck or from the glamorous master suite with a full, private bathroom, you'll see the soft and sandy shores of the Gulf of Mexico stretch as far into the horizon as they eye can see. This wonderful house sleeps 8 and is a treasure to beach life. 

About Catalina 

Named for the famous WWII flying boat, Catalina has the distinction of being the first beach cottage purchased by the Harris family in 1983. It is now owned by Becky Harris and is conveniently located close to other Harris Vacation Rentals such as Fountain of Youth, Point Clear and Bellingrath. This arrangement is ideal for large groups of friends or family members that all want to enjoy each other's company without feeling confined to sharing a single house together. 

The two bedrooms each have their own full bathroom. The east bedroom is set up as a guest room and has sleeping for 2 with a queen bed. The west bedroom is the master and features captivating beachfront views with sleeping for 4 with a king bed and a bunk bed. In between, you will find the spacious living room with a sleeper sofa to sleep 2 on the beachside and the kitchen dining room on the roadside. With a front and back deck, you can choose the shaded seclusion of the covered front porch or the sunny back porch perfect for laying out. The interior of this lovely home boasts a spacious living room that opens to the dining room area, as well as a fully equipped kitchen with appliances, cookware, and plenty of counter space for sharing meals and moments together.

Fort Morgan

Fort Morgan is a quiet beach community away from the crowds and congestion. On the peninsula, guests will find the following restaurants: Tacky Jacks 2, Sassy Bass, The Coast Restaurant, The Village Hideaway, and The Kiva Grill. Guests can play golf at the Peninsula or at Kiva Dunes. There is an accessible boat launch and marina at the Gulf Shores Marina at Fort Morgan. Last but not least, there is a historical Civil War Site to explore at the Fort Morgan Historic Site. There is something for everyone in Fort Morgan!
 
Rental Age Policy

We love people of all ages, and we want everyone to enjoy our homes.  However, we do require that an adult 25 years or older reserve the home and be present at the home during your entire stay. We do not rent to anyone under the age of 25.  We have no exception to this policy. If you are found to not be in compliance with this policy, you will be immediately evicted from the premises without a refund of any amount.
