Four Season Classic Chalet in the Heart of Hidden Hamlet - Near Everything!!

Dynamite property walking distance to Nubs and a two minute drive to Boyne Highlands. Classic ski chalet with all the modern amenities. Situated on a great wooded lot facing Nubs Nob. 1840 square feet of comfort await you as slip into your Northern Michigan hideaway.

From the Chalet you can experience everything Northern Michigan has to offer. Skiing the “Best of the Midwest” at Nubs Nob and Boyne Highlands, hundreds of miles of snowmobiling/biking trails right up the driveway, within minutes of several of Michigan top rated golf courses, 10 minutes to downtown Petoskey and Harbor Springs, visit the best beaches in Michigan, drive or bike the Tunnel of Trees during the fabulous fall color tour on M-119, visit many local wineries and so much more.

Our Chalet has three floors with two bedrooms on the first floor. One of the bedrooms has a bunk with a queen bottom and twin top. The second has a twin bunk bed. One of the full baths is on this floor as well as a washer and dryer.

The second floor shows the main living area with the original Cedar A-frame wood beam great room, dining area, and full kitchen. The master bedroom with a queen bed across from the second full bath is located on the main floor as well.

The loft has a queen and three twin beds as well as a separate lounge area.

A large back deck with a new hot tub, full deck dining set and a fire pit round out this home nestled in the heart of Northern Michigan.

Best for Nubs!

Second time visiting and certainly will not be the last. Location could not be better for skiing at Nubs (or Highlands for that matter). Mike is an excellent host and house is equipped with everything you could need. Thanks again Mike for another great stay!

Great Ski Chalet

Great spot close to Nubs Parking lot. Close enough to walk to the lift in your ski boots if u don’t mind a short hike. Place has a lot of beds and the fireplace is great. Hot tub is a nice feature as well. Only complaint was that the upstairs bathroom is pretty small.

Family Bonding

The Chalet accommodated our family quite well. We brought our young adult children and their spouses for a Michigan getaway. The property and its amenities allowed for some great memories for our family! It is close to some wonderful places to visit (Harbor Springs, Petosky State Park, Mackinac Island).

Family ski trip

What a great location for skiing at nubs (or the highlands if that is your thing)! Everything was exactly as described and we had plenty of space and everything we needed. Since the lions played while we’re there I really appreciated the awesome TV and sound system in the living room. Hot tub and fireplace were awesome! Mike is an excellent host and we can’t wait to visit again! Thank you Mike!

Ski Chalet

Property was exactly as expected. Very clean. Lots of character. Perfect for skiing at Nubs Nob and The Highlands. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, and ping pong table. Tons of space and also very cozy. Host was communicative and accommodating.

Awesome getaway!

Very nice place! Perfect for what we needed! This stay was clean, relaxing, and easy going. Just a quick walk to the ski hills! I would recommend staying here.

Family vacation

We had an excellent stay in this "cabin in the woods". Our kids loved their space in the loft, and were obsessed with playing pool as much as possible! The house had plenty of space for all 10 of us (2 families), and the location was so great. Right in between Harbor Springs and Petoskey, and also close enough to drive to Charlevoix, Torch Lake and Sturgeon Bay. The blankets in the house were so soft and cuddly, and we had everything we needed, plus small corner stores nearby for when we needed to run out to grab something.

Excellent Stay - Great Location

We had a great weekend (guys golf trip) - house was clean and plenty of space. We enjoyed using the hot tub as well. Would recommend and stay again.

Golf Weekend

It was a great weekend, and this Classic Chalet lived up to its Hype. Pool Table, solid coffee maker, and the hot tub in the backyard. Close to the Highlands golf course and Teddy's!

Quiet and secluded

Awesome property and location right around the corner from nubs nob and the highlands, very secluded location and we loved the fireplace! Lots of little amenities are included which was really helpful. Thankful for an amazing weekend!

Darling Chateau in Beautiful Location

I know most people stay in the area in the winter to enjoy the skiing and winter activities, but we went early spring to get away for a long weekend. We absolutely loved it! It's very private (especially during this "off season."), the chateau is darling cute, very functional, and has a ton of sleeping space for larger groups! We have no real complaints, and enjoyed our stay immensely!

Hello and thank you for considering our place in the wonderful Hidden Hamlet neighborhood of Harbor Springs. I grew up in Petoskey and spent much of my youth skiing at Nubs Nob, enjoying the many local beaches and experiencing all the amazing things Northern Michigan has to offer. After college, I ended up in the Grand Rapids area and years later wanted to instill a love of Northern Michigan in my family.

I always had an eye on this great wooded area of Harbor Springs. I began looking into available properties and when this one became available I decided this is THE area to purchase a Northern Michigan property. The location of this property can not be beat. It is truly near everything. I know you will enjoy the quiet evenings in our private Chalet. You will enjoy quiet mornings of coffee on the front deck and jump start your day with a walk through the cross country loop at nubs.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

This property was originally built in 1969 by Dr. Richard Spademan, an orthopedic surgeon at the University of Michigan, who grew up skiing at Boyne. As a surgeon Dr. Spademan saw many leg injury with the bindings of the day and in the late 60's developed a prototype for a safer binding that would decrease injuries. The Spademan binding was the top selling binding in the US by 1978. We have a pair of Spademan bindings mounted on a pair of Rossignols in the Pool Table room. His original design touch of the Spades inside the loft and on the exterior of the home have been restored to continue the legacy he began many years ago.
