You'll love this beautiful gardened setting within walking distance to Lake Ann Village, 15 minutes to Traverse City, minutes to Leelanau County & the National Shoreline. Your Burnett Nestt is an upper level, fully furnished 2 room apartment including a lovely covered porch, private entrance & foyer. Businessman, S.S. Burnett, was the original owner of the home and it was moved in 1902 from Ransomville (down Lake Ann RD) after 3 fires demolished the thriving village.

Barb is a lovely host and the property is gorgeous! My husband and I had a wonderful weekend celebrating our anniversary. The flowers and gardens surrounding the home are beautiful and very relaxing.

Beautiful grounds and great location. Good communication with the owner. So much was provided….I always appreciate it when you don’t have to run to the store for supplies like shampoo, paper towel, toilet paper, dishwashing liquid etc. Very comfortable bed/pillows. We enjoyed our stay and will check for availability here or at “the loft” (on the same property) for future visits.

Very large, comfortable living space with great amenities. The pictures don’t do it justice. Absolutely amazing gardens and a beautiful private porch to take it all in. We loved the close proximity to town. Barb was very quick to respond to any inquiries and was extremely accommodating. I would highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for something in the Lake Ann area.

Charming Lake Anne Home

This home is charming, the suites have everything one can need, and the property includes beautiful gardens and fountains. I have stayed here twice now and loved both experiences!

Perfect Getaway!

Great location for a concert at Interlochen and exploring the cute Northern Michigan lake towns. We enjoyed bike riding the trails, shopping and dining.

Beautiful Cottage!

This was perfect for our stay for the Master Gardener Conference at Interlochen. The garden and property is beautiful beyond words and the apartment we stayed in was so cute! We loved this and would stay again!

Lovely home and gardens

The apartment was exactly as listed. We enjoyed the private porch, meeting the dogs, and the convenience of the location for the Sleeping Bear region. Wonderful stay.

Wonderful Nest!

This beautiful property in Lake Ann village is perfect for whatever you want to do in the area. This trip was a family visit from my niece. The nest is delightfully decorated and has everything you need!

This was just the right size for my husband and I. The gardens are so beautiful you can't help but relax. The location is close to everthing, but far enough to be away from the crowds. Lake Ann is a little gem

Great Stay!!

We had a great time staying here and exploring the National Lakeshore. Barb was very flexible and responsive, and had obviously worked hard to ensure everything we could need was available. The house and gardens were beautiful, and a very short walk to Lake Ann's restaurant, brewery, ice cream, general store, etc. Overall we just had a really great stay!

Absolutely charming!

Barb creates magic with her gardens and a comfortable space with all of the amenities needed for a relaxing stay in Northern Michigan. Perfect location with lots of beauty and charm. Will definitely be back!

This NESTT has all the creature comforts and details I would personally enjoy, a fully equipped kitchenette, a comfy Queen bed, new carpet, new appliances. The porch is a lovely place for morning coffee or an evening libation. Tour the gardens and walk to the the wonderful village of Lake Ann.
