Peaceful cabin in our private woods, close to bike trail, winery, and lakes.

This French country-style cabin is set amongst our private woods in Leelanau County. It is a place to relax and enjoy the quietness of the woods. This will be your home away from home, for sure.

From the moment you enter the driveway from the main road, it will take you back into the woods to your cabin. This cabin is so quaint when you open the door. It has a fully equipped kitchen. It has a screened-in porch for relaxing, enjoying a meal, drinking, chilling, and reading a book in our swing chair. We also offer complimentary local wine from Leelanau to all our guests. Enjoy that glass of wine by sitting in our relaxing chairs on the patio by the fire table.

The cabin is conveniently located near many activities, restaurants, and beaches. The bike trail is approximately 1/2 mile from the cabin locations, with Traverse City and Suttons Bay nearby. The nearest local winery is a short 2-minute drive north, deeper into Leelanau Peninsula wine country.

Whether you desire comfortable, quiet solitude at the cabin or prefer exploring the unique area of Leelanau County and the surrounding counties, it is up to you.

We hope you will enjoy relaxing at our cabin, exploring, or doing whatever you have planned while in the area. For many years, we have had this dream of sharing the beauty of our property with others. We hope that it will become your favorite spot when visiting our area.

This property was one of the best I have stayed booked on VRBO. It was well decorated with everything you need. The privacy was nice and the king bed was very comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

The cabin in the woods is a delightful spot. With acres of woods surrounding the cabin, it is so quiet and private. The cabin is adorable and the amenities provided are terrific. We've been 4 different times now and are certainly planning a return visit next summer.

We had the most amazing stay. The hosts went above and beyond. The cabin was so clean and cozy. We were sad to leave but will be returning many more times.

Another wonderful stay with Beth and Terry. It's so nice to be able to walk in and just put your things away and start your vacation without a worry or concern. Also, so very clean and fully stocked with more than you could ever need. Beth and Terry's communication is beyond wonderful. We really always enjoy our stay here. From the comfy bed to the well stocked kitchen, to the wonderful bikes to explore the trail on, every need is met. This year we brought our two newly married sons and their wives and our first grandchild and had a wonderful stay in all three cottages/cabins. It worked perfectly.Always will be our go to when coming home to Michigan, because when we stay with Beth and Terry it's feels like HOME!Thank you again Beth and Terry!!! Can't wait to come back!!!!

I so enjoyed my stay in this little cabin in the woods. I could look out any window and see woodlands. It was restorative! I especially enjoyed how close the trails were for running and walking. The cabin itself was very clean and beautifully decorated. All of this and so close to Traverse City. I would highly recommend.

This cabin was perfect for a weeklong stay. Very comfortable and a great location - both isolated and close to everything. The owners are very responsive. We would definitely stay again!

Terry and Beth have been married for over twenty-seven years. Terry was born and raised in Leelanau County on the property adjacent to the cabin entrance. Beth grew up on a dairy farm in Charlevoix, MI. They met in Traverse City and decided to make their permanent home in the beautiful Leelanau County, close to where Terry grew up. They both love nature and the outdoors.
