While the property appeared to be fairly well maintained, the back door would not shut and lock leaving only a screen door for security. Additionally, there is a leak coming from upstairs dripping in front of the oven downstairs. Finally, I would not go so far to say there was an infestation of scorpions in the cabin but we found no less than six in the bedroom and bed linens.

I would like to tell the other side of the story. The guests stayed 4 nights with us and actually was late checking out this morning. Zero mention of any issues during their stay, only requesting a trash pickup once of which we graciously complied. The owners have monthly pest control and have had zero sightings of any scorpions and our cleaner of 6 years and never once laid eyes on a scorpion at this cabin. We launder the linens including quilts bath mats blankets - everything every single stay- we actually bring in fresh linens and take the dirty ones offsite for proper laundering and sanitizing. The drip from upstairs shower to downstairs was likely due to leaving the shower curtain outside of the tub - these log cabins are notorious for that! Easy fix had the guest notified me. The back door locks from inside with an additional locking screen door. We will check it out today tho to see if it has been damaged during their stay. All was in tact before check in.

Amazing cabin

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was private, quite and so cute!! We absolutely loved it and will definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Beds were comfortable and it was nice having a washer and dryer.Could use a new toaster but otherwise everything was wonderful. I forgot to start the dishwasher when we left, I am sorry about that.

April's Charm

Wonderful cabin! Beautifully decorated, very comfortable and peaceful but close enough to restaurants and events to make it very convenient. This is the second time we've stayed here and it was a great experience!

This cabin is extremely clean . It has all the things you need. Just bring the groceries. The beds are very comfortable. Fireplace, jacuzzi was great, she even had a bag of firewood there for us & left us little bear chocolates & thank you card. Very close to the cute little town Townsend TN. I only wish we had more time to stay.

Nice getaway

Nice cabin for our group. Directions were good no problems finding it. Close to restaurants, grocery store and national park. Would stay there again

Great stay

Cabin was excellent. Had everything we needed. Clean and organized. Excellent place to stay for vacation in the smoky mountains. Would love to stay again next year! Great job to the property manager!!!!!

Quiet & Cozy

Quick stop on our road trip with kids. Great set up, near “town”, GSMNP entrance and several other hiking spots. Perfect space for a family of four.

Everything was amazing!

I cannot recommend this property highly enough. It was exactly as listed and just so comfortable. I will most definitely stay here again. The property manager is out of this world and made our stay extra special.

Great stay!

We didn’t plan to spend a lot of time at the house we rented, so we picked a spot based on a balance of location, function, and price. This spot was everything it said it was…no issues at all!
