Firefly Haven is a private cabin located in the Timberwinds community in Townsend. It is just minutes from the national park as well as many other attractions. The cabin offers 3 separate sleeping areas including 2 master suites with king sized beds and a loft with 2 twin beds and 1 queen bed. Outside on the patio you can watch your favorite movies on our projector screen while soaking in the hot tub.

The downstairs:
•Master bedroom with king sized bed, ensuite bathroom, washer, and dryer
•Fully stocked kitchen
•Dining area
•Living room with a wood burning fireplace, Roku TV, and dual reclining couch

The upstairs:
•2nd master bedroom with ensuite bathroom. *Please note the upstairs bathroom can only be accessed through the upstairs master bedroom.
•Loft with 3 beds (2 twin beds and a queen bed)
•Air hockey table

The patio:
•hot tub with projector screen
•2 Rocking chairs

Dogs are welcome to the cabin for the additional fee of $95. To bring a dog, please add them to the reservation when submitting the booking request. Dogs are not allowed to be on any furniture. If you plan to be away from them for any period of time, we ask that you bring your crate in order to keep your pet safe and to avoid costly damage fees. We also ask that you pick up after them. Please let us know if you'd like to bring your pets with you.

The Timberwinds neighborhood provides guests with access to a seasonal swimming pool and pavilion area.

Townsend is known as the peaceful side of the smokies; however, many exciting activities await you and are within a short driving distance. The Smoky Mountain National Park, Cade’s Cove, the Little River, Tuckaleechee Caverns, horseback riding, and a winery are just a few of the great things to do while in Townsend.

Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are both around 20 miles from the cabin. These towns are home to many tourist attractions such as zip lines, dinner shows, mountain coasters, and fun shops.

Awesome property for my family vacation with dogs. Excellent views with easy access to the national park. Driveway is very steep but accessible. Would stay again

Should have been a warning about the driveway access for a large passenger van. The house was lovely as was the porch and the view. Should think about placing a 2-3 step stool near the stacked washer/drier for us height challenged visitors.

Beautiful and private location, but close to many local restaurants, gas stations & stores. Short drive to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Smoky Mountain National Park. The cabin itself was very clean and had fully furnished kitchen if you wanted to prepare meals. We enjoyed the hot tub & fire table. Host was very responsive & easy to communicate with. The cabin was pet friendly and we were able to travel with our dog. I did have some trouble navigating the driveway, but figured out quickly to back in. I will add that I had rented a minivan for this trip, so that may have been a factor. My only regret was not having a few more days to take things in. I loved our stay and would definitely return. I think my children and grandchildren would agree!

We enjoyed staying here. My 1 year old and 4 year old liked the bunk bed and it was nice having a room for us parents on the same floor. The beds were comfy, and the view during winter was nice!

Nice cabin

We loved staying at the cabin. Very nice and clean. The host was very responsive. The only issue we had is the roads going up to the cabin and the driveway are steep. It snowed and we were not able to get back up the driveway even in a 4 wheel drive.

Peaceful

My husband and I enjoyed a few days in this lovely cabin. We ALWAYS appreciate properties that allow us to bring our dog. Our visiting family enjoyed the large dining table space to play games, jacuzzi, air hockey, and the peacefulness of the location. The steepness of the driveway would require AWD or 4W drive due to snow. Matthew, the host was prompt in responding to questions.

Beautiful property

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The cabin is about 50 minutes to Gatlinburg and about 30 minutes to Pigeon Forge, depending on traffic. Note that the driveway is very steep!! It rained one morning and it was not fun getting up the driveway, we have a midsize AWD SUV. The teenagers really enjoyed the hot tub with the projector. It was a bonus being able to bring our dog here! The area is very peaceful and quiet. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Property is on extremely steep and dangerous narrow mountain road to an even steeper driveway with no flat parking or turn-around. Our 2WD Armada was spinning tires to climb the paved vertical drive, and 2 young children were so frightened they were crying. We turned (two cars single file) into the drive only to discover that the cleaners were blocking the drive (nearly an hour after our official check-in time), and then we had to back down this sketchy drive. We had to remove the hitch cargo carrier and carry it down by hand becaus the drive was so steep that the cargo hitch rammed into the also steep street below. Squirrels had chewed two access holes through the foam log chinking, and the foam was still littered on the deck. Debris was on the bottom of the hot tub. Deck was dirty. We called owner immediately to say there was NO WAY we could stay there, but after more than an hour on the phone with VRBO he only had to refund our cleaning fee. We lost nearly 1,200. By the way, I am a VRBO owner, and would never recommend staying here. An ethical owner would have refunded our money. Bring 4WD and hope for dry roads.

The cabin was great, very clean. The projector screen needs surround sound or better speakers. When the jets are on you can't hear the volume. Also, the hot tub never got hot enough while we were there. I believe they turn it down when no one is renting it and it takes days to get to set temp. Our rooms were nice and linens were clean. We had a very enjoyable trip. Also it was so nice to be able to bring our fur baby.

Cabin is beautiful but very steep driveway that requires four wheel drive and AC and hot tub weren’t working when we arrived. TVs and smaller appliances either not working or not connected/plugged in. Owner did get the AC fixed after our first night there.

Thank you for your feedback and for staying with us! We're glad you found the cabin beautiful and appreciate you bringing a few things to our attention. Just to clarify for future guests: while the driveway is steep, it is fully paved and does **not** require a four-wheel drive vehicle—many guests arrive in standard cars without any issues. We also had a hot tub repair guy come out and was able to fix the issue with the hot tub. It is now functioning as it should. Regarding the AC, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We recently had a brand-new cleaning team who, while preparing the cabin for your stay, accidentally turned off the AC breaker. Once we were made aware, we had it resolved as quickly as possible. We're always working to improve and ensure everything is in perfect working order for our guests. Thank you again for your visit, and we hope you enjoyed your time in the mountains!

Overall had fun even with some issues

We had some issues with the hot tub not being hot. The theatre set up can’t be seen unless it’s completely dark and if the hot tub is running you can’t hear the sound anyway. I do appreciate the quick responses to try to fix any issues.

Lovely place to stay, hot tub was nice and private outdoor area. Enjoyed the outdoor porch very much. We are from Florida with flat Land so the driveway was steep, but we learned how to maneuver it.
